One Piece Card Game Emergency Ban List (effective from April 10, 2026)

I feel this ban list is unfair for global players because we never got a chance to try the cards compare to the JP format. The simultaneous release is taking time to take effect, but looks like they've only focused on what is happening for the JP format rather than on a global scale. Well, I think this also happened to Digimon once where the cards didn't get release for global, but already got hit because of the JP format.

EB03 Blue (Hancock) Deck Profile

As you know, OP07 Jinbe is back, so we can use the Warlord engine for Hancock to try and use as much cards from hand as possible. Although, we still don't have proper Amazon Lily or Kuja Pirates for OP07 Hancock, so that kind of option is out of the window. Luckily, I guess we have Rain as part of the rotation exception list which does help the build a little.

EB03 Red/Black (Sabo) Deck Profile

OP13 Sabo is the main focused for this post. OP05 Sabo is not out of rotation, and if I've got time, I could post the build later. It is just when it comes to R/B Sabo, people think of OP13 version and not OP05. Anyway, this deck definitely changed a bit thanks to EB03 Koala, we can easily set up getting 8 drop Characters to the field without actually playing an actual 8 drop Character.

EB03 Purple/Yellow (Pudding) Deck Profile

Pudding is one of the decks that got hit the hardest when it comes to rotation. Most of the key cards from this build are from Block 1, and losing those cards changes the build entirely. I don't think there was any BM Pirates card that made it to the exception list. I'll see what I can do with the current card pools we've got, the worst part is that I could slap the TB Pirates engine for Pudding and call it a build.

GCG Link Station Ep 37 - Phantom Aria[GD04] Featured Card Reveal !

A Link Station video all about card reveals is what I mainly like, so I could have a longer post than short post. Plus, they don't really do EN sub for the fights which just make the game suspicious, but they willing to sub the other part of the videos. This is what make it strange, especially for an official channel to do this and not just a fan who made these videos.

GCG Ban List (effective from April 1, 2026)

I don't know about you, but this has to be 1 of the worst ban list especially how GCG is designed. I literally thought they would hit U/P Barbatos, but looks like the deck is still playable, and we will still have problems facing against Barbatos builds. It feels like they didn't put any effort to stopping certain decks from dominating. Then again, it's also Bandai fault for doing Bo1 matches where you know you only have 1 chance to stop that deck, and no second chances.

Digimon Card Battle - AD-01 Lucemon VS EmperorGreymon

I don't know if Lucemon is still expensive to get, or you won't be needing the old Lucemon stuff, reducing the price of the deck. In this video, we see Lucemon vs EmperorGrey, and I support EmperorGrey in this video as it used to be 1 of my main decks I used to play. I think they've got a bit of supports from AD01 set, but the main cards are still from the old sets.

[One Piece Card Information Bureau] STARTER DECK EX -Luffy & Ace- [ST-30] Unboxing

Looks like we have an unboxing video for ST30 Ace & Luffy deck. We know the Leader, Luffy and Ace's effect in the ST30 as they have been revealed with official translation. I'll be skipping those 3 cards for this video as I don't think there's any need to post those effects again. I guess I'll be posting the rest of the cards that could be shown in this video, ignoring vanillas.

EB03 Green/Yellow (Yamato) Deck Profile

Yamato got the ST28 supports, and it is thanks to those cards, this deck is still playable even with the rotation kicks in. Only 2 new cards from EB03 set, and they could help the build. Although, there are other EB03 choices that you can add to the build, but our main focus are still the Wano cards.

EB03 Blue/Purple (Luffy) Deck Profile

I've made this build with rotation in mind, so we will be losing some of the Block 1 cards for this build, as well as losing Pudding since April is near. Although, the Block 1 cards were important as they were the removal of the decks, and unfortunately, since then, there aren't many good removals after. Maybe in future sets where we can update this deck with better removals.

EB03 Red/Green (Oden) Deck Profile

As we are close to April, I won't be using Block 1 cards for Oden, and it does means, we will be losing 1 of the key cards, OP01 Denjiro who works very well with this build. I guess this is why we have a rotation, to start thinking different in tackling these old Leaders who are still in the rotation. What I do like about Oden is that our non counter Wano cards will get 1k counter, and that can easily makes a difference when it comes to protecting the cards.

GCG Link Station Ep 36 - Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Series" Limited Battle!

Link Station episode is out today, and today is all about Limited Battle with the Seed series. Although only limited to Japan it seems, so we may not get this for Global. Then again, if it's Limited Battle with 00 Series, I will be interested, but Seed not so much even though I like their mobile suit designs. We also have card reveals which is the main reason why I'm making this post.

EB03 Purple/Yellow (Rosinante) Deck Profile

Corazon got a major improvement from both EB03 and EB04 set, so now the deck is actually playable compare when the Leader got first released in OP12 set. The difference is night and day and looks like the cards are still in the rotation, so we don't have to change much when April comes for this list. Instead, we only need to worried about Block 2 being rotated out when the time comes.

GCG World Finals 25-26 Updates

Here is an update of top 16 decks for GCG WCS. There's also a potential ban list will be announced around March 27. I am not surprised if the ban list will hit U/P Barbatos builds considering out of 3 card games, GCG was the least interesting with the top 3 all being Barbatos builds. As you can see in this top 16, almost half the decks are U/P builds.

Digimon Card Battle - AD-01 Omnimon VS Medusamon

AD01 releases next week I think, I guess I'll be trying either Omni build or Imperial build. I don't think I'll be posting any of those decks on the blog as the timeframe is too tight. I guess with rotation format at the start of April for OPCG, I see how many decks I can build with OP15/EB04 set, then, I could start on DCG stuff if I got time.

EB03 Green (Uta) Deck Profile

Green Uta got some upgrades with EB03 set, and we do have some new FILM support from OP14, so even if rotation kicks in, we can easily replaced some of the cards with the new block. There are so many cards I wanted to add with the way the cards work, but of course, we are only limited to 50 cards, so cramping every cards will be difficult.

Digimon Card Game World Finals 25-26

Just like OPCG, a lot of information have been revealed for DCG, including the new ban list. Although, I am mainly interested in EX13 set for Ulforce to start getting back to the game. I haven't kept up with DCG meta, so I don't really what's what anymore compare to before. But I do know DCG won't be doing rotations so they will have a huge ban list like YGO if they don't balance the stuff properly.

One Piece Ban List effective from April 1, 2026

The ban list was surprising. Only one colour got hit and the other colours are fine. OP06 Pudding is banned because it stops decks from gaining large hand size. I think this hits most of my blue decks, but not like it matters since I am mainly running 1 or 2 copies in the build, I can easily replace them with other cards.

Gundam Card Game World Finals 25-25

Unlike One Piece, Gundam only has card reveals along with WCS. This might be a very short post. Unfortunately, they also did not make a stat of how many different decks were used, so I can't really analyse what kind of decks are there along with the main meta decks for GCG.

One Piece Card Game World Finals 25-26

A lot of information have been revealed for OPCG and not just about the WCS. Luckily, the global side has also translated the stuff in this video, so I don't need to translate the stuff manual and try and figure our what's what. I just need to write my opinions about the stuff they've released. Do note, some of the products will have different release date for JP and EN. It does make sense since rushing all the products to catch up with JP will be a mess like DCG back then, so they will do it slowly, but we should be able to catch up near Autumn/Winter.

EB03 Blue (Nami) Deck Profile

Nami got rebooted, because you know, the OP03 version restricted blue to have any some sorts of draw power. They didn't want to do type restrictions with those draws otherwise, certain type of decks will have more advantage over the other. I think the main problem is the blue East Blue cards, most of them will be out of rotation, unless they get a reprint with a new Block Number. I guess we can always use this build in casual formats.

GCG Link Station Ep 35 - ST09 Destiny Ignition Unboxing

ST09 is just around the corner, and we have the full deck list for this Ultimate deck. Although, I have no idea why this is called Ultimate deck considering you still need to buy 2 copies if you want a play set. Of course, you could always buy the deck and then the singles if you don't care about the extra stuff that comes with the deck.

Yuuki's Info! Mar. 12, 2026

No new card reveals for Digimon, but we do have Special Rares introduced for AD01 set. They do look amazing which is the one thing that DCG do better compare to other Bandai games. This is my personal opinion, although, DCG standard arts aren't as good, so maybe that's why their alt arts looks great.

EB03 Yellow (Vegapunk) Deck Profile

Vegapunk will need EB04 Kizaru for the final piece of the deck. Although, the current cards are still pretty good for the deck, but once Kizaru is here, then, this build would be complete. Then again, any yellow deck will be running EB04 Kizaru, so it won't only just be Vegapunk who would need updating again, unless that card gets like a card errata or something, or get hit by the ban list.

EB03 Red/Purple (Sugar) Deck Profile

We got some new DQ Pirates supports in OP14, but I've waited until EB03 to post Sugar build, so I could cramp all the new cards together, rather than doing double posting, considering the time. The OP14 stuff does provide some nice supports to the deck, especially the new Events, so we could make use of Sugar's effect.

Sunday, March 8, 2026

EB03 Purple (Katakuri) Deck Profile

We do have some new cards for Katakuri build, but it's not like it's enough to completely changed this build around. We do need 1 more set of support that is made for Katakuri, then, we might have a chance, or new purple cards that could work very well with Katakuri's effect.

Saturday, March 7, 2026

EB03 Green (Carrot) Deck Profile

Carrot is another build where we want to use both EB03 and EB04 sets together for this build to work. Although, I haven't really updated Carrot for a while, so this build will be a complete overhaul from the previous version. To be honest, I didn't even saw the EB02 supports for Carrot which was disappointing for me, as that would be a chance to update this build.

ONE PIECE CARD GAME OP15-EB04 Unboxing

An unboxing video for OP15-EB04 set, but I am mainly looking forward to the other half of EB04 set to complete some of the decks with EB04 cards. It is kinda annoying if you have a deck that uses colours from the first half of the EB04, but also need the second half of EB04 to complete the build. So it just leaves a half completed build until we can get the second half of EB04.

GCG Link Station Ep 34 - Pre-Grand Final! Meta Predictions & All-Out Battle!

The fight is not subbed, no idea why they bother subbing the video but not the fight they show. If you remember what all the cards do, this could be easy to read. However, if you don't know what the cards do, then, you might get confused watching the fight. Although, I do not care about the fight itself, rather, I'm only interested in GD04 reveals.

DIGIMON LIBERATOR Climax Special!

Quite a few information have been revealed in this video. Although, the main talk of the show is Liberators, and how the Characters have the card versions. However, I am only interested in the card reveal, and we have 2 cards revealed today. I think it make sense if we are going to need them for DNA digivolving.

EB03 Blue (Kuzan) Deck Profile

For Kuzan or Aokiji, whatever you call him, have a lot of Navy supports for this build. But the main supports come from EB04 set, but I needed that 1 card from EB03 to actually post this build. For this build, discarding cards is not a con, but a plus instead and since the effect is not once per turn, we can easily draw a lot of cards depending on how many cards you've discard.

Monday, March 2, 2026

EB03 Yellow (Luffy) Deck Profile

The EB03 support definitely improved ST29 Luffy, but we also want to use the yellow side from EB04 support, and that's not coming out until April. For this build, I'll be posting 2 different builds, one using TB Pirates engine, and the other will be focusing on the SH/Egghead engine. The TB Pirates engine is pretty good and can be fit in a lot of yellow builds.

EB03 Red/Blue (Vivi) Deck Profile

A reboot version of OP04 Vivi, but we can attack with this princess which could be helpful. Of course, if we are running the Alabasta stuff, I don't think we would be attacking much with the Leader as the Alabasta stuff because we will still be reducing our Leader power. Just like other decks, we will be running some EB04 stuff in the build, since some supports for EB04 came out first before EB03 for global.
