We do have some new cards for Katakuri build, but it's not like it's enough to completely changed this build around. We do need 1 more set of support that is made for Katakuri, then, we might have a chance, or new purple cards that could work very well with Katakuri's effect.

Leader Character (43) Event (7) |
How it Works?
I've kept the build pretty much similar to the previous version as we still need the ramp so we can use Katakuri's any time we want as the 1k power only last for that battle. There's a lot of ramp in this build, so we shouldn't have much of a problem of maintain DONs when we use the Leader's effect, as this will still allow us to play the high cost Characters we want to the field.
Ramp
There are a lot of ramp in this build so we can use our Leader's effect on both turn without worrying about losing too much DONs. OP08 Maria is needed because I am running OP11 Big Mom, and once you use Big Mom's effect, we need to recover the lost DONs for the deck. The effect is an activate main effect and the effect only works if you have no other Maria Characters in play. You can add up to 5 DONs as rest. Then, at the end of your turn, return DONs to the DON deck until you have the same number of DON as your opponents.
OP08 Pudding works very well when we start returning DONs like Katakuri Leader. The effect is when a DON on your field is returned, add 1 DON as rest. You could say, you could run more of this Pudding in the build, but with other ramp cards, it won't matter too much.
EB03 Pudding is the only card I've decided to add for Katakuri as this card can also acts like a Blocker to stop your opponent's attacks once we used the effect. The effect works on play, if the number of DONs is equal to or less than your opponents, add 1 DON as rest. You can also use this card for 2k counter if you can't use her effect.
OP11 Oven is our constant ramp card as long as this card is on the field. The effect is an activate main, you may rest this Character, choose a cost and reveal the top card of your opponent's deck. If the revealed card is the chosen cost, KO 1 of your opponent's base cost 3 or less Characters. Then, add 1 DON as rest. Even if we can't KO your opponent's Characters, we can always focus on the ramp.
Another ramp card with activate main is OP11 Perospero, and unlike Oven, you won't need to rest this card to use the ramp effect. The effect is an activate main, you may trash 1 card from your hand, choose a cost and reveal 1 card from top of your opponent's deck. If the reveal card is the chosen cost, draw 1 card and add 1 DON as active.
Of course to solve Oven and Perospero being an attack target, we will need OP11 Katakuri on the field. Katakuri is an 8k Blocker with an effect that works at the end of your turn, 2 of your 3 cost or more BM Pirates Characters becomes active. Then, add 1 DON as rest. You can save 1 of those Characters as well as Katakuri so we could get the ramp going.
Free Play
Kid Katakuri is not as important because of PRB02 Pudding, and it's thanks to Pudding, we can reduce the amount of Katakuri in the build for Kid Katakuri's effect. Kid Katakuri only cost 2 to play, but you will need to wait until your opponents to have certain amount of DONs in order to use the effect. The effect is an activate main effect. You may trash this Character, if your Leader is BM Pirates, play one 3 cost or more Katakuri that is equal or less than the number of DONs on your opponent's field.
On the other hand Pudding is another card that cost 7 to play and also requiring your opponents to have certain amount of DONs to work. The effect works on play, by returning 2 DONs, if your Leader is BM Pirates type and your opponent have 6 or more DONs on their field, draw 2 cards. Then, play one 6k to 8k power BM Pirates Character from your hand. Unlike Kid Katakuri, we can play any BM Pirates Characters as long as we meet the power requirements, and there's a few options to choose from.
Rest
For the rest effects, both of them are mainly for the 2k counter unless we really want to swing against your opponent's Characters. OP11 Streusen has an activate main effect which is by returning 1 DON and resting this Character, choose a cost and reveal 1 card from top of your opponent's deck. If the reveal card is the chosen cost, rest 1 of your opponent's 4 cost or less Characters. At least this would help to trigger some of the ramp cards in the build.
ST18 Usohachi would require 8 or more DONs to work and if you keep returning DONs, that might be difficult to pull off. The effect works on play, if you have 8 or more DONs on the field, rest 1 of your opponent's 5 cost or less Characters. On the bright side, we can target 5 cost Characters compare to Streusen who can only target 4 costs.
Big Mom Pirates Supports
The rest of the BM Pirates supports are simple. OP11 Pudding is the main searcher of the deck, but we do have 2 effects and not just the search effect. The first effect works on play, look at the top 5 cards of your deck, reveal one 2 cost or more BM Pirates card and add it to your hand. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order. The second effect is an activate main which is, by returning 1 DON and resting this Character, look at the top card of your opponent's deck. This is more of a backup effect in case your opponent draw the top card using one of their effects when we used Katakuri's Leader effect.
OP11 Anana is just for extra Blockers even though we have 2 other Blockers in this deck. The more Blockers means we could stop your opponent's attacks and get to set up to play our big drop to the field. The effect is if you have a purple BM Pirates Character other than Anana, this Character gains Blocker.
Lastly, I am running OP11 Big Mom for the Rush ability so we can start being aggressive. This could be difficult to play if you keep using the Leader's effect, but if you managed to get 10 DONs, then, we can have a beat stick on the field. The second effect works during your opponent's turn, by returning 5 DONs, choose a cost and reveal 1 card from top of your opponent's deck. If the reveal card is the chosen cost, 1 of your Leader gains 2k power for the turn. We could use this very early once we use the Leader's effect, but this could cost you 6 DONs altogether.
Events
The Events are simple, I mainly kept the same and added an extra Event to the deck. OP13 Divine Departure is our 0 cost Event where we can use the main and the counter effects. The main effect will require you to have an attach DON to work. The effect is by resting 5 DONs, if you have any attached DONs, 1 of your opponent's Characters loses 8k power for the turn. The counter effect is the same as any other 0 cost Event where we trash 1 card, your Leader or 1 of your Characters gains 3k power for the battle.
Claim the One Piece is an additional searcher as having Pudding won't be enough, especially if we want to look for certain cards to make this deck pop off. The effect is if your Leader is AK Pirates or BM Pirates, look at the top 5 cards of your deck, reveal 1 AK Pirates or BM Pirates and add it to your hand. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order. The trigger effect is activate this card's main effect.
Conquest of the Sea is our removal since we don't really have any removal in this build to stop your opponent's Characters, except swinging into those Characters. The effect is by returning 2 DONs, if your Leader is AK Pirates or BM Pirates, KO up to 2 of your opponent's 6 cost or less Characters. We do lose 2 DONs, but you can easily recover those DONs with the amount of ramp in the build.
