ONE PIECE CARD GAME Special Show -THE WORLD'S STRONGEST WARRIORS- OP-17

 

Looks like both JP and EN channels posted the same information about the OP17 cards on the same day. Of course, I will be choosing EN Channel as this is the official text for the cards rather than having people translating. It does makes it easier for me as I won't need to figure out the official translation and can just comment on these cards.

OP16 Red (Shanks) Deck Profile

Shanks is now back in action thanks to the new support from OP16 set. The new supports really improved Shanks as we've got more RH Pirates in the build, and don't need to rely on non RH Pirates cards for the deck. The deck will be a lot more different as I'm trying to cramp as much cards as possible to this build.

GCG Link Station Ep 51 - Freedom Ascension [GD05] First-Look Battle! & Ban List Revealed

 

Before you watch this video, the ban list was never mentioned in this video even though, it is revealed on the same day. The Link Station video only focus on SP cards and Events revealed. I've decided to cramp these 2 together to save me from double posting, and they are both related to GCG, so there's really no point creating a separate post.

OP16 Purple/Yellow (Robin) Deck Profile

I think this will be an obvious update for Robin build, but you could add more new cards from OP16. I've also tried to cramp as much as possible for Robin as there are quite a lot of cards that could go very well with this build. You don't have to focus on trigger cards fully, but there will be a higher chance if you do as we could pull off the ramp.

OP16 Green/Blue (Zoro & Sanji) Deck Profile

There are some nice supports from OP16 set that could fit well with Zoro & Sanji Leader. In fact, I am pretty much reverting back to how this Leader was meant to be played from ST12 starter deck. Although, I still want to cramp as much as possible for this build as there are plenty of cards that can work with the Leader's effect.

OP16 Blue/Yellow (Nami) Deck Profile

Nami have came really far, from underdog to top meta build. Well, it's always good to see some of these Leaders shine. Maybe not if you face 10 Nami builds. We do have a lot of cards for this Leader, so cramping everything in one deck will be very tight, but I will see what I can do.

OP16 Yellow (Vegapunk) Deck Profile

Vegapunk is the deck I am mainly worry about because you will need to sacrifice either Kizaru or I requasar, and I requasar is a very important Event for Vegapunk. Of course, without Kizaru, we won't get as much easy Life gain since Kizaru is also 5 cost Egghead type which will work with Vegapunk's effect. Not a major upgrade for this deck as we pretty much only got 1 new card added from OP16.
