OP11 Green/Yellow (Shirahoshi) Deck Profile

I have no idea why all 3 of the princesses cannot attack in this game, it is a theme with these 3 Leaders. Although Vegapunk is not a princess, he is just a scientist without any fighting capabilities. I guess this is the same with Shirahoshi. I am actually disappointed with the official names of the Sea Kings, never mind the Sea King trait. The JP version gave the Sea Kings a proper name, but the EN version felt lazy with the names.

OP11 Shirahoshi

How it Works?

As you can see Shirahoshi is one of the build where we can make use of one set only. The only card that's not from OP11 is EB01 Shirahoshi as we can also search her out with this build. Personally, what this deck is missing is the new Shirahoshi promo where we can play some of these cards for free, it would definitely help spamming more Characters to the field.

What our main focus of this build is mainly spamming Sea Kings, or Neptunian if we go with official English translation. We can also play Megalo for free as well, which is good during our early turns if we've only got 3 DONs to work with. We also have plenty of cards that can flip your Life cards face down, so you could constantly use Shirahoshi's Leader effect without the need to take damage.

Neptunians & Megalo

Now 2 of the Sea Kings Characters are vanillas, but in total we have 7 Characters we could play for free to the field as long as we've got the DONs matching to their costs. Megalo is just a Blocker with an effect that works during your opponent's turn which is if your Leader is Shirahoshi, this Character gains 4k power, making Megalo a 6k Blocker. Not bad for a 3 cost Character.

I forgotten the name for the Sea Kings Characters so I'm just going to call them their English translated name. Spotted is a searcher, and the more searching the better so we could search for specific cards. The effect works on play, if your Leader is Shirahoshi, look at top 5 cards of your deck, reveal up to 1 Sea King card or Shirahoshi and add it to your hand. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order.

Lord of the Coast is not related to Fishman Island arc, but it is a Sea King we can target using Shirahoshi's Leader effect. The effect works on play, 1 of your opponent's rested Characters will not become active during your opponent's next Refresh Phase. This is good to stop your opponent's deadly beat stick for a turn until we can fine an answer to that Character. Although we do have a trigger effect which is KO 1 of your opponent's 3 cost or less rested Characters. The trigger effect might not be handy, but could be useful just in case.

Bluge Eyed is actually optional, I am only running it for the Sea King type as I barely pull off the effect. At least we do have a 6k beat stick instead of 5k beat stick for our 4 drop Sea Kings. The effect is if your Leader is Shirahoshi. this Character can attack Characters on the turn in it is played.

Topknot is our Blocker and also one of the cards who can turn our face up Life cards face down. The effect is an activate main effect, if your Leader is Shirahoshi, you may turn the top of your Life card face down to untap this Character at the end of this turn. What I like about Topknot is that we can attack with this card, and have a Blocker ability active during your opponent's turn. The more attack, the better for this build.

Draw

I do find this ironic how the 2 cards that can draw card are the mother and father duo. Both of them can also flip Life cards face down so we can trigger Shirahoshi's Leader effect again. Otohime works on play, if your Leader is Shirahoshi, you may turn the top of your Life card face down to draw 1 card. Even if you are not using the effect, the 2k counter could be useful for defence.

Neptune on the other hand is our 7k beat stick we can have on the field along with our Sea Kings cards. The effect works on play,  if your Leader is Shirahoshi, you may turn the top of your Life card face down to draw 2 cards and trash 1 card from your hand. I guess unlike Otohime we do discard a card, but the 2 cards will give us more options to choose from.

Shirahoshi

Now, we going to talk about the daughter of Otohime and Neptune, Shirahoshi. Personally, EB01 Shirahoshi is quite good not because of the Shirahoshi name, but because she is a 2 drop Blocker. For this build, in order to play our high cost Sea Kings Characters, we need to stall the turns until we can get enough DONs. This is where EB01 Shirahoshi comes into play. There is an effect but might be difficult to trigger depending on the situation. The effect is when this card is KO'd by your opponent's effects, you may add the top card of your deck to top of your Life area.

OP11 Shirahoshi is just a searcher for this build, but the search effect is very specific which is why I didn't run Camie in the deck. The effect is you may rest 1 of your DONs and this Character to look at top 5 cards of your deck, reveal 1 Sea King or Fishman Island card and add it to your hand. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order. Unfortunately, we won't be able to search EB01 version, but we can search the rest of the cards in this build.

Events

Honestly, these Events depend on your personal preference. You could even run some removals for this deck, as we won't have any answers to your opponent's Characters without attacking into those cards. Not My Type is a must have in this build as this Event only works with Shirahoshi. The counter effect is if your Leader is Shirahoshi, your Leader or 1 of your Characters gains 4k power this battle. 4k is a lot of power, which can help us to reduce the amounts of counters needed to stop your opponent's cards. The trigger effect is KO 1 of your opponent's 2 cost or less Characters. This trigger effect will definitely be harder to use compare to the counter effect.

Vagabond Drill only works in specific build, and luckily we can use this Event in Shirahoshi build. The counter effect is if your Leader is Fishman or Merfolk, your Leader or 1 of your Characters gains 3k power this battle. Then, rest 1 of your opponent's 3 cost or less Characters. The resting might not matter, but the power is definitely helpful to protect your cards. The trigger effect is rest 1 of your opponent's 4 cost or less Characters.

Poseidon is just an extra searcher in case we don't have enough search from Shirahoshi or Spotted effect. It is better than Camie as we can search for most of the cards in this build. The effect is look at top 4 cards of your deck, reveal 1 Sea King or Fishman Island card and add it to your hand. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order. Not surprising that this effect is the same as OP11 Shirahoshi as they are both related if you have read or watch the series. The trigger effect is draw 1 card. Personally, I would use the search over the draw, unless you really need the hand size.
