OP11 Green/Blue (Zoro & Sanji) Deck Profile

Personally, the new cards from EB02 set do make a drastic change for this build, but if we also add some cards from OP11 set, then I think we are good to go. What we want is to make use of the multi attacks from our Leader, so we can deal as much damage as possible with the lowest possible costs.

OP11 Zoro & Sanji

How it Works?

This deck mainly focuses on spamming the SH for free so we can build up a field whilst relying on Zoro & Sanji's effect to reuse some of the cards on play effects. We want this build to be aggressive as possible, preparing your attacks, so we can swing in one go whilst protecting some cards. This deck focus more on power rather than returning or resting ability, but we don't want to hit over 7k as we won't be able to untap that Character to swing again.

Free Play

These 3 cards are the key card for this build in order to build up a field so we can attack your opponents whilst also using Zoro & Sanji's effect. ST12 Mihawk only works if you don't have a lot of Characters on the field which is great for early turns. The effect works on play, if you have 2 or less Character, play up to one 4 cost or less Muggy Kingdom or Slash Attribute Characters other than Mihawk from your hand rested. The best thing is that we can use our Leader's effect to bounce Mihawk to hand so we can use the 2k counter during the counter step.

FILM Brook only works with SH cards since I am not running a single FILM card to make use of Brook's effect. FILM Zoro is a 4 drop, so we won't be able to play him anyway with Brook's effect. The effect works on play, play one 3 cost or less SH or FILM Character from your hand. There are plenty of choices to choose from when it comes to 3 cost or less SH, it will depend if you can draw those cards or not.

EB02 Usopp is one of the reason why I've decided to run some vanillas, especially when Mihawk can play our FILM Zoro for free. The effect works on play, if you have 2 or less Characters with 5k power or more, play one 6k or less vanilla Character from your hand. What I like about Usopp is that we don't need to worry about the number of Characters on the field as long as 1 of them is 5k power or more unlike Mihawk. Well Usopp can be a good back up to spam Characters in case we don't draw Mihawk, plus being a 5k power means we can have an extra beat stick to swing instead of relying on DON power.

Rest

Here are the 2 Slash Attribute Characters who we can play using Mihawk's effect to spam the field. OP10 Brook only works on KO, but being a 3 drop 5k beat stick is very handy if we need the number to swing at your opponent's cards. The effect is rest 1 of your opponent's Leader or 5 cost or less Characters. The downside to this effect is that your opponent could KO Brook last so they won't be losing anything.

EB02 Zoro is very handy, but in order to make use of the full ability, we will need your opponents to have Characters on the field to work. If your opponent has 2 or more Characters, this Character can attacks Character on the turn which is played, making Zoro have the pseudo Rush ability. We don't have many rest abilities, so triggering this Character pseudo Rush might be a bit difficult. The effect works on play, if your Leader is SH type, rest 1 of your opponent's 4 cost or less Characters. 4 cost or less is not a lot, but should be enough to make Zoro swing into those Characters.

Power

These cards can be played using FILM Brook's effect as they are 3 cost or less Characters. But they are not any normal 3 cost or less Characters as these cards can become major beat sticks if we can fulfilled the requirements. OP07 Zoro works when attacking, if you have 3 or more Characters on the field, this Character gains 2k power for the turn. You will need to give Zoro a DON if you want to hit the magic number, but getting 3 or more Characters on the field is not difficult to do with this deck.

ST12 Sanji will also need an attached DON, but not to hit the magic number, but to trigger the effect. Just like OP07 Zoro, the effect works when attacking, if you have 5 or less cards in your hand, this Character gains 2k power until the start of your next turn. You might be able to trigger this easy if you trigger the cards to play Characters for free, but I am also running Vivi who could give us the draw power to refill the hand, so these 2 cards might collide with each other.

Straw Hats Supports

The SH supports is very straightforward especially thanks to the EB02 set where we got more SH for the green card pool. EB02 Nami is our standard searcher for the deck, and since there are plenty of SH cards, it is very hard to miss. The effect works on play, look at the top 5 cards of your deck, reveal 1 SH card other than Nami and add it to your hand. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order.

OP10 Sanji also has a search effect, but that search effect has a specific requirement and your opponents can easily get around the effects. The effect is when this Character is KO'd by your opponent's effect, look at the top 5 cards of your deck, play one 5 cost or less SH Character. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order. This shouldn't be difficult to do as the only high cost is Sanji for this build, but triggering this effect is definitely hard unless we reduce your opponent's options to Sanji. Otherwise, we will be using the on play effect which is return one 5k base power or less Character to the owner's hand. This effect can be used on your cards or your opponents depending on the situation of the field.

I am running Rain as we can search the Event with Nami's effect, but you can also run other Events in the build if you want to. The counter effect is the same as any colours which is you may trash 1 card in your hand, your Leader or 1 of your Character gains 3k power for the turn. The trigger effect is return one 2 cost or less Characters to the owner's hand. We want to use the counter effect over the trigger effect unless it can stop your opponent's attacks.

Other Supports

I decided to go with these cards for obvious reason. OP05 Corazon is a card that can protect your Characters whilst Vivi is our main draw power for this build. Corazon is a Blocker with an effect that works during your opponent's turn which is if your rested Character would be KO'd, you may trash this Character instead. Obviously, we want to use this effect against KO effects rather than battle since Corazon can just block the attacks.

EB02 Vivi is the only draw power for the deck, but once you can get the combo going, you could draw a lot of cards. The effect works on play, if your Leader is multicoloured and you have 5 or less cards in your hand, draw 2 cards. We can use Zoro & Sanji to bounce Vivi to our hand, ready to use the effect again for our next turn whilst also untapping another Character for extra attack. So you can comfortably just drop a few counters to stop your opponent's attacks as we will be recharging our hand, so we won't have low hand size for long.
