GCG Ban List (effective from April 1, 2026)

I don't know about you, but this has to be 1 of the worst ban list especially how GCG is designed. I literally thought they would hit U/P Barbatos, but looks like the deck is still playable, and we will still have problems facing against Barbatos builds. It feels like they didn't put any effort to stopping certain decks from dominating. Then again, it's also Bandai fault for doing Bo1 matches where you know you only have 1 chance to stop that deck, and no second chances.

Semi Limited

Not even limited, but semi limited instead. I don't remember if Bandai games have any semi limited cards as they always aim toward limiting the card to 1. Corsica Base being semi limited doesn't hurt as much compare to 1 since Blue have draw power, especially combining with the Barbatos stuff, so you could draw the cards. Of course, you can always rely on the luck with getting this card into your Shield area.

I don't think there would be more diversity in the meta, as long as this game doesn't have answer to aggro decks, we can see aggro decks dominate the meta for a while, until there are cards that instantly stop aggro.
