Digimon Card Battle - BT-25 DUAL REVOLUTION First Look Battle! Part3

 

There's actually nothing much revealed except there's a BT25 promo video which reveal some of the card's effects for the set. I don't know anything about Glowing Dawn or TS Gear Forest. Those decks looks pretty new to me, so I have no comment about the fight in this video.

OP15 Green (Zoro) Deck Profile

OP12 Zoro has a small update from OP15 set, but the majority of the deck is still using OP14 and below as those cards supports Zoro build. I couldn't really max out some of the cards in Zoro build as I needed room for other cards and not all cards I want to run will be in this build. I think the deck would be better if we max out the main cards of the deck rather than cramping everything into the deck, but this is just my opinion.

OP15 Blue/Yellow (Hancock) Deck Profile

OP14 Hancock also got some nice upgrades from the yellow side rather than blue, so this build will be mainly running yellow cards more. Although, there are a lot of cards I want to cramp in this build, but I couldn't since I want to aim for Hancock's effect to constantly draw cards as this is not once per turn for the draw power. So you could end up drawing a lot of cards with trigger effects.

OP15 Black/Yellow (Luffy) Deck Profile

Technically, this build will be more of a yellow build than having some black cards, as there aren't many black cards that could work with ST13 Luffy. There are some black Straw Hats in OP15, but for this build, it won't work with those cards as ST13 Luffy is designed different than other Luffy Leaders.

OP15 Yellow (Kalgara) Deck Profile

Kalgara got a nice upgrade with OP15 and EB supports, so you can easily spam the field with beat stick whilst maintain your Life cards. Although, our key cards are still Shandian Warrior, and unfortunately, we don't really have a good Shandian Warrior that could really help this deck to compete against the top meta builds.

Part 2 for BT25 and its Vulcan vs BeelStar, and I think BeelStar got an advantage because of the previous 3 Musketeers stuff. No idea if you need them or not, but some of the old stuff will be still useful. For Vulcan, the stuff is relatively new, so we might need more supports, unless the current TS supports are good enough, but I haven't tried the TS supports yet.

EB04 Red/Black (Koby) Deck Profile

Koby got both EB03 and EB04 supports, but it was the EB04 supports that made a huge difference for this build. I don't think we will be adding any OP15 support unless there's a new power reducer that could be useful. There are a few choices we can add to this build, but we do want to keep this mainly Sword as that's where Koby's effect become effective.

OP15 Green/Purple (Luffy) Deck Profile

Not much of an update for EB02 Luffy, but we do have at least 2 cards we can use from the OP15 set. The rest of the build will be pretty much the same as the previous build where we are using the Straw Hats cards. I guess, this is not a cheap deck to put together as there are still a lot of pricey cards. Then again, EB02 Luffy was never cheap to play to begin with if you want to make it competitive.

OP15 Blue/Yellow (Nami) Deck Profile

Nami was a build I didn't post when EB03 set got released as I was waiting for EB04 set as well as OP15 to post this build. I guess there was also the time aspect as I wanted to prioritise the decks that won't be updating for awhile. But this deck got plenty of new cards, especially the yellow side that I couldn't cramp every cards I want to this build.

EB04 Black (Lucci) Deck Profile

Lucci is a bit difficult to upgrade because most of the cost reducers are from Block 1, and we rarely got any new cost reducers after that. Even if we did get new cost reducers, they mainly go in specific decks, so they couldn't be use in any builds like other new cards. This was quite difficult to update, but I will see what I can do as we do have new CP cards from EB04 set, so I want to make it work.

Just an unboxing video for GD04 and hopefully, we could get the same pull rates as I don't think the box changed for JP format. This will be a very short post as there is nothing much to talk about, so you can easily skip the rest of the post if you want.

Digimon Card Battle - DUAL REVOLUTION Fastest Battle!!

 

We get to see Dual cards in action in this video, but I don't know what it means with fastest battle. I don't really see it quick in this video considering it's around 40 minutes. I've checked just in case you could win on like turn 3, but that wasn't the case. The game looks pretty standard for Digimon, it fact it was around 30 minutes I guess or maybe a bit quicker.

EB04 Yellow (Enel) Deck Profile

I don't know if I should name Enel, EB04 or OP15 considering they are the same set, but I am only using EB04 upgrades for Enel. OP15 do have Sky Island supports, but for Enel deck, it never relied on the Sky Island cards anyway as this is usually a deck where we make use of the Leader's effect. 

OP15 Red/Blue (Lucy) Deck Profile

The only complaint is that this Leader destroys the point of Lucy, and I guess they didn't think this through when they also made Luffy as a yellow Leader in the same set, as they made a yellow Luffy Leader not long ago, and there are plenty of Sky Island Characters that could be made as a Leader. Then again, I don't know what the creators for this game are thinking, and I am still waiting for my Kuma Leader.

OP15 Green/Black (Brook) Deck Profile

We finally got a Brook Leader, I think we are missing Franky Leader now for the Straw Hats. To be honest, I was wondering how do you even pull off Brook's effect, but it seems you don't. It is more about milling cards so we can play those cards from the trash. Although, no idea where the green is from, maybe setting stuff as active, but you do need 0 cards in deck to untap Characters.

OP15 Blue (Rebecca) Deck Profile

Rebecca got a reboot for OP15 set and looks like we still cannot attack with this princess just like the OG version. Personally, I don't like the new effect as I don't think the new effect does much than spamming on play effect again, since there aren't much 3 drops that could really change the game around, especially when we have 1 less attack.

Nothing much revealed for this video unless you care about the match. There is a card reveal, but it is nothing new, just a special rarity just like the OPCG game where they reprint certain cards with special rarity, so this post will be very short.

BT25 is getting closer for the release date, so we got an insight on how these dual cards will work. No doubt, I think these cards might be the future until they introduce another new mechanic. This is just mainly Q&A video with a card reveal at the end.

OP15 Black/Yellow (Moria) Deck Profile

Moria got a nice upgrade from OP15 set, and also 1 of the decks who have been using the pairing with EB04 Kizaru and I requasar. The pairing will be banned at the end of this week, so there was really no point in using those 2 together. Instead, I'm trying a different kind of build.

OP15 Yellow (Luffy) Deck Profile

Another mono yellow Luffy Leader, but this time we can use the yellow Sky Island cards instead of purple. You can cramp the EB03 Straw Hat stuff for this build, but we won't be making use of the Leader's effect who only protects Sky Island Characters. There are also plenty of Life gain already, so you won't be needing the additional Life gain from EB03 set.

OP15 Purple (Enel) Deck Profile

Enel got a reboot, so if you like the Sky Island, we wouldn't need to worry about Block 2 cards getting rotated out in the next rotation. I must say, I have underestimated this deck, I thought the cards with 1 drop Sky Island stuff and limited 6 DONs would be terrible as there are weakness with running low cost Characters. But turns out, this deck is amazing, and in fact I've also decided to make 2 deck builds for Enel as we can make use with all sorts of builds. 

OP15 Red/Purple (Uta) Deck Profile

There are some new Film supports for R/P Uta build in EB03, but most of the old Film supports for this build are from Block 1 that usually work with this deck. I've only added a new card from OP15 set since I think that 1 card could be useful. This deck would work best if we have the old Film stuff from Block 1, but the Leader is still playable until Block 2 rotated out if we can stay creative and use some of the Film cards that are still playable.

EB03 Green/Purple (Lim) Deck Profile

There's a new Odyssey support for Lim in EB03 set which can help the deck a little. Although, I guess the main weakness is that we play our Characters at rest, so your opponents can attack into those Characters if we don't have cards to stop your opponents. There's also rotation involve, so Block 1 cards are rotated out for this build.
