Kalgara got a nice upgrade with OP15 and EB supports, so you can easily spam the field with beat stick whilst maintain your Life cards. Although, our key cards are still Shandian Warrior, and unfortunately, we don't really have a good Shandian Warrior that could really help this deck to compete against the top meta builds.

How it Works?
I've kept this build very simple, maxing out the Shandian Warriors so we can play these Characters for free using Kalgara's effect. I have also added a bit of Life gain as we need to use the Life area, but once you've got a full field, you can easily use the DONs to power up the attacks. The build hasn't changed much as I've kept most of the key cards for this build.
As you can see, I'm running vanillas in the build as the vanillas are the only SW who have good numbers when it comes to beat stick. Hopefully, we could get more SW supports as I really want to replace the vanillas. But for now, we will stick with what we good.
Life Gain
This deck actually has more Life gain thanks to the new low cost Characters released in OP15 and EB04 set, so we don't need to wait for lot of DONs to play these cards. The more Life cards you can recover, the easier for you to use Kalgara's effect without the need to use counters from your hand to protect the Leader. OP15 Zoro is a SI Character which makes it very easy to search this card out from the build. The effect works on play, you may trash 1 card to add the top card of your deck to top of your Life area.
EB04 Kizaru is not only a Life gain card but also a 6k Blocker, and having Blocker ability can help us to stop 1 of your opponent's attacks. The effect works on play, if you have 2 or less Life cards, add the top card of your deck to top of your Life area. You can easily reach 2 or less Life cards with this build as we can use Kalgara's effect in taking our Life cards away.
Lastly, OP08 Noland is the final Life gain card in this build, but unlike the other 2 Life gain cards, we do have a bit of a requirement before we can play Noland to the field. The effect works on play, if your Leader is SW type and you have Kalgara Character in play, add the top card of your deck to top of your Life cards. We do have some Kalgara Characters in this build, so hopefully, you could search these cards or draw into them so we can use Noland's effect.
Searchers
The 1 thing we are not short of are searchers. Hopefully, with these searchers we could get specific cards into our hand. OP15 Nami is our 1 drop searcher we can play for 1 DON. The effect works on play, look at top 3 cards of your deck, reveal 1 SI type card and add it to your hand. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order. We also have a 2k counter that could be useful if needed.
OP15 Kalgara has a nice effect and we only need 3 DONs on the field when we use the Leader's effect. The effect works on play, you may trash 1 card from your hand, look at top 5 cards of your deck, reveal up to 2 Noland or SW cards and add them to your hand. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck. This is not bad at all, as we get to add 2 cards with the search, and with the increase amount of SW cards in the build, you could easily add 2.
OP08 Wyper is a very specific searcher, but at least he is another SW Character we could play. You also have 2k counter, so you don't need to play this card if you have other options to choose from. The effect works on play, look at the top 5 cards of your deck, reveal 1 Upper Yard and add it to your hand. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order and play 1 Upper Yard from your hand.
Upper Yard is another 1 drop searcher, but unlike Nami, we can look for more cards. The effect works on play, look at top 5 cards of your deck, reveal up to 1 SI card and add it to your hand. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order. We do have plenty of SI cards in this build as SW cards also have SI type.
Attaching DONs
We have 2 cards who we mainly want to attach rested DONs to our Leader so we can get SW Characters to the field easily. EB03 Nami has 2 effects, the first effect works on play, attach 1 rested DON to your Leader. Then, if your opponent has 3 or more Life cards, add the top card of your opponent's Life area to their hand. I don't really care about the second part of the effect, but if we can reduce your opponent's Life area, that would be even better. The second effect works on KO, you may turn the top card from your Life area face up to play one 6k power or less Character from your hand.
OP15 Wyper is a great addition to the build as this card is a SW Character we can play for free. Wyper has 2 effects, the first effect works on play, you may turn the top Life card face up to reduce all of your opponent's Characters power by 2k for the turn. Then, KO all of your opponent's Characters with 0 power or less. The KO part might be difficult, but the power reducing is definitely useful as it would make our Characters more easier to hit your opponents. The second effect is an activate main, once per turn, attach 1 rested DON to your SI type Leader or Characters. This is the main effect we are after so we can trigger the Leader's effect with ease.
Sky Island Supports
These cards can all be searched out with our SI searchers. OP12 Kalgara is our main draw engine of the deck to get the cards we need. The effect works when a Life card is removed from either player Life area, draw 1 card. Then, you cannot draw cards using your own effect for the turn. Unfortunately, this is hard once per turn, so we won't be able to stack another draw power on top of the effect.
The Earth Will Not Lose is only great in Kalgara build as we can meet the requirements for the effect. The counter effect is if your Leader is SW type, your Leader or 1 of your Characters gains 3k power for the battle. Then, play up to 1 Upper Yard from your hand. The trigger effect is draw 2 cards and trash 1 card from your hand.
El Thor is also nice 1 drop Event we can use, but that's only if we can meet the requirements. The counter effect is your Leader or 1 of your Characters gains 2k power for the battle. Then, if your opponent has 2 or less Life, gains an additional 2k power for the battle. So in total, we could gain 4k power altogether. The trigger effect is KO 1 of your opponent's Characters with cost equal to or less than the number of your opponent's Life cards.
