OP15 Blue (Rebecca) Deck Profile

Rebecca got a reboot for OP15 set and looks like we still cannot attack with this princess just like the OG version. Personally, I don't like the new effect as I don't think the new effect does much than spamming on play effect again, since there aren't much 3 drops that could really change the game around, especially when we have 1 less attack.

OP15 Rebecca

How it Works?

I've mainly kept the build mostly Dressrosa as I don't really think we can run cards outside of Dressrosa. Maybe OP06 Jozu could work as there are some cards you could bring back. But as you can see I am barely running any Characters in the build, but I wouldn't worry too much about the lack of Characters because of the constant searching we can do with this deck.

Rebecca can bounce Characters back to our hand, so we mainly want to bounce the searchers, so we can use their on play effect again as they only cost 1 to play. Not to mention, you have a lot of draw power in this build, the more draw the better as there are some cards we want to draw as soon as possible. OP06 Pudding is banned, so we can easily get a massive hand size without worrying about that card returning our massive hand size to deck.

Dressrosa is an important Stage card as this deck focus more on the defensive side rather than playing the Characters to attack. It is also why I am running a lot of Events in this build, even though this is not a Lucy deck as we want to use Dressrosa to prevent some attacks your opponents can do.

Draw

These cards are the main draw engine of the deck to increase our hand size and make up for the few Characters in the build. OP10 Cavendish is 1 of our beat stick as this is a 6k beat stick we can use. The effect works when attacking, draw 2 cards and trash 1 card from your hand.

Go Ahead gives you 2 options for an Event, and it really depends on what you need. The effect is Choose one, either draw 2 cards, or 1 of your Characters gains Blocker until the end of your opponent's turn. If you have a massive hand size, you won't be needing the extra draw, and can focus on blocking your opponent's attacks.

Eat the flame flame fruit doesn't really work well in this build because of our Leader. However, our main aim for this deck is drawing cards so we can increase the hand size. The main effect is draw 2 cards. Then, your Lucy Leader gains Double Attack and +3k power for the turn. We can ignore the last part of the effect and just focus on the draw as the draw don't need Lucy Leader to work. The trigger effect is draw 2 cards. If you can get the trigger effect going, then, I would recommend to use the trigger effect, otherwise, you would need to rely on Sabo to play this Event for free.

Lastly, Dressrosa Kingdom is the Stage card. This is a key card to help with the defences of this deck. Dressrosa has 2 effects, the first effect works on play, if your Leader is Dressrosa type, draw 1 card. More draw power is always welcome. But I am aiming for the the second effect which works during your opponent's attacks, you may rest this Stage and trash 1 Stage or Event from your hand, your Leader or 1 of your Characters gains 2k power for the battle. We can only use this once per turn, so you have to make sure which to protect and which you can use your counters on.

Searchers

Draw power is not the only 1 this deck has. We also got plenty of searchers, especially 2 of the cards can be spam by bouncing back to hand and use their effect again thanks to the Leader's effect. OP15 Viola is a searcher with 2k counter, so this is useful if we want to bounce Viola back to hand. The effect works on play, look at the top 3 cards of your deck, reveal 1 Dressrosa card and add it to your hand. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order. What I like about Viola is that there's no name restrictions as long as that card is Dressrosa.

OP15 Rebecca is another 1 drop searcher with the exact same effect as Viola for the on play effect which is look at the top 3 cards of your deck, reveal 1 Dressrosa card and add it to your hand. The only difference is that Rebecca also has a second effect, and that second effect would need you to attach a DON for this Character to gain Blocker. You don't really want to bounce this card to hand if you are planning to use the Blocker ability.

Lastly, I will Guide You is just a back up searcher if we do not see the other 2 searchers. The effect is look at the top 5 cards of your deck, reveal 1 Dressrosa card and add it to your hand. We can look at top 5 instead of 3 which can give you more options. The trigger effect is activate this card's main effect.

Preventing

We've got these 2 cards that can stop your opponents from doing what they want. OP15 Leo is a 1 drop with 2k counter if you need the counter effect. The effect is if your 7k base power or less Character would be removed from your field by your opponent's effect. You may place 1 of your Characters to the bottom of the deck instead. This is not once per turn, and since we are not running a lot of high cost Characters, you can easily spam this effect to protect certain Characters on the field.

OP15 Sanji is a 4k Blocker and also a 3 drop who we can play for free with Rebecca Leader by bouncing 1 of our own Characters to hand. The on play effect is 1 of your Characters gains Unblockable for the turn. The only downside to this effect is the lack of beat stick I am running in the build, so you really need to rely on DONs if you want to hit more power.

Dressrosa Supports

The rest of Dressrosa supports are very simple. OP15 Kyros only works with Rebecca Leader, and this is not surprising at all. Kyros has 2 effects, the first effect works on play, you may trash 1 card from your hand, if your Leader is Rebecca, this Character gains Rush. Kyros works the best with our Leader's effect as we can play him for free. The second effect works on KO, add this Character from your trash to your hand, so we can constantly spam the Rush if we need additional attacks.

OP15 Luffy is mainly for the 2k counter as he is only a 4k beat stick, so you do need some DONs if we want to hit the magic number. The effect works during your opponent's turn, if your Leader is Dressrosa type, this Character gains 2k power, so we could have a 6k beat stick on your opponent's turn.

OP15 Sabo is the main card of the deck as this card can let us play cards for free as well as being a 9k Blocker. The effect works on play, if your Leader is Dressrosa type, play 1 Dressrosa Event from your hand. I am only running Dressrosa Events in the deck, and the only Event you really wouldn't want to play with Sabo's effect is our 1 drop searcher. The others are fine, especially with the 7 drop Event.

Barrier Barrier Pistol is a removal we've got for this deck, although, I guess you could also run Gravity Blade. The effect is place 1 of your opponent's 6k power or less Characters to the bottom of the owner's deck. 6k power or less can vary as there's a lot of different costs that has 6k power or less. The trigger effect is activate this card's main effect.
