($30 Build) OP09 Red (Shanks) Budget Deck Profile

Honestly, the RH Pirates stuff are relatively cheap to get, it is mainly the non RH Pirates stuff that makes this deck expensive to build. Of course, I've made this build very different to the main build since we won't be able to afford most of the key cards in the main build. Although, most of the RH Pirates stuff have filled up most of the room for the deck, so I can't really add any other cards I would like to the build.

($30 Build) OP09 Purple/Black (Luffy) Budget Deck Profile

Personally, this is a build where the Straw Hat starter deck will play a major role, but if you haven't got the Straw Hat starter for Nika Luffy, then don't worry. I have made a budget build where we don't have to use the starter deck for this build. But of course, strength wise will be lost without the starter deck, so instead, I am using alternative methods for this build.

($20 Build) OP09 Black (Teach) Budget Deck Profile

At the time I've wrote this post, the cards are below the budget requirement price $20 to build this entire deck. To be honest, BB Pirates deck is very cheap if we ignore Laboon and Finger Pistol. I've tried to add Finger Pistol to this build, but it went over the budget I am planning to have for the build, so I've kept it $20 below to make it easier on people wallets.

OP09 Red (Luffy) Deck Profile

The ST21 deck will also have another red Luffy Leader, and there are some cards that will work with this Leader, but for now, I'm currently posting this deck with OP09 cards. I made this deck for the fun of it since this Luffy Leader was from one of the very first Starter deck. I have done purple Kaido Leader using OP08 set, so now it is ST01 Luffy turn.

OP09 Red (Whitebeard) Deck Profile

I personally feel like OP09 set could work with one of the most OP Character in the series Whitebeard aka Newgate. There are some cards where I could go, this might work with WB as we want to focus on the defensive side of things. However, at the same time, too much high cost Characters can actually runs this deck, so finding the right balance from OP09 set is really important.

OP09 Yellow (Kalgara) Deck Profile

I don't know if I should post an updated version of Kalgara as the previous version is okay, but will need some changing. There's like 1 card in OP09 that could work with Kalgara, but it is up to you if you want to run it or not. It is not like it is a key card to the build, since we definitely need more Shandian supports, but at the same time, going too far might make this deck very OP.

OP09 Red/Purple (Kid) Deck Profile

We've got new Kid Pirates supports in OP09 set, however, they are very disappointing, so I won't be using some of them. Instead, this build came from RP Luffy idea where we focus on powering up the Leader, and make this build a power base deck instead of using the new Kid Pirates stuff. Personally, with the right set up this deck could be deadly, but you do need set up to work, compare to other decks.

OP09 Purple/Yellow (Crocodile) Deck Profile

Now, unlike the Blue/Purple Crocodile who got major upgrade from OP09 set, this version of Crocodile only a one card update. Although that 1 card is optional for this Crocodile build as this would mean we will be sacrificing some numbers to fit the new card in the build. The OP08 version of this deck is pretty defensive, and I would actually stick with the OP08 version. With this build, I have to change some cards around to suit the new card in the deck. Well it is up to you if you want to try this build or not.

OP09 Green/Yellow (Yamato) Deck Profile

There's actually no new support for Yamato build, however, there is a card I want to fit for this build as they could support Yamato's Leader effect. Lets just say this build is more of a random build, but with the mind of utilising Yamato's Double Attack ability to swipe your opponent's Life with ease. I tried to make this deck as aggressive as possible as we want to deal as much damage, the sooner, the better for this deck.

OP09 Yellow (Katakuri) Deck Profile

Personally, I don't know about an OP09 version of Katakuri. But decks will change constantly, so I decided to post this version of the deck. It is different compare to the previous version, but we will still focus on checking the Life area. Although I don't think my previous build is great, I would prefer to use this version. You do not have to run OP09 card and can easily be replaced with one of the old cards as Katakuri doesn't need new cards from OP09 set.

OP09 Red/Purple (Luffy) Deck Profile

More Luffy deck since OP09 set gave us some purple Straw Hats we can use to expand on these type of decks. This time, I'll be talking about red purple Luffy deck. RP Luffy Leader is a Leader I like because it is 6k base power, and only 3 Life makes it like a yolo deck. Of course, we've got cards from both red and purple who can power up the Leader base power, giving Luffy even more power.

OP09 Purple (Foxy) Deck Profile

Foxy is back with OP09 supports. We are getting a new Foxy card in OP10, so I will add that later. For now, I'll just post this current version of the build I've made. There are plenty of ramp cards in this build as we want to use Foxy's Leader effect to stop your opponent's Leader from attacking as well as 1 other Character. So we can basically stop 2 attacks per turn if we can get your opponent's Characters to rest. It is a nice control deck but we also have some nice beat stick we can use to take out your opponent's Characters.

OP09 Blue/Purple (Crocodile) Deck Profile

Its time to revive an old Leader, Crocodile using some OP09 cards. Those cards would help to change this deck dramatically, so we actually got more beat stick rather than just focusing on Events. Unfortunately I'll be focusing more on the Blue side as we got new BW cards rather than having new purple cards in the build.

OP09 Yellow (Vegapunk) Deck

There's only 1 card from OP09 set that would work with Vegapunk. The rest will be the same as my previous build, well maybe with a slight change as this build is more like a YOLO build. Starting with 2 Life will have a drawback which is why we need to make that to give us the advantage for the build.

OP09 Red/Yellow (Betty) Deck Profile

Belo Betty is back with being aggressive as possible thanks to the new Revolutionary Army cards in OP09 set. I think we are getting more support in OP10, although I am not sure about some of them, as you know playing this build has a major drawback and that is the defence. Some of the cards feel like they would work better in Red Yellow Sabo build over Betty.

OP09 Purple (Luffy) Deck Profile

OP05 Luffy Leader got a major upgrade from the OP09 set more than the new Nika Luffy Leader they've made. With this build we can focus entirely on the Straw Hats. Well it depends on what kind of build you want with this Luffy Leader I am mainly using ST18 as the base of the deck. For anyone who bought ST18 starter deck, the upgrades will be very simple to go from there.

OP09 Green/Purple (Doflamingo) Deck Profile

We are getting more Doffy supports in OP10 set, but for now, I'll be updating this build with OP09 supports. You might think there's no green support for older decks, but looking at the Odyssey, one of the new card would work with this build as we want to force your opponent's Characters to rest. Although if we want the full upgrade, then waiting until OP10 release date will be the best bet.

OP09 Blue (Nami) Deck Profile

Nami mill is back with a bit of upgrade. Well it is up to you if you want to use the OP09 stuff in the deck. Personally, the deck is good at it is as I doubt we would get more insane support for Nami mill. Although I am still playing with this deck still and see how I could increase the mill speed, since this deck loses to big beat stick and rush builds as we need to take the time to set up.

OP09 Red (Shanks) Deck Profile

Shanks can be played as a defensive deck depending on how you look at his effect. But it is thanks to the effect, we can play high cost Characters to the field more easily. I've tried to cramp everything into one deck as we've got a lot of great red cards that works with Shanks. Not to mention, we've also got OP10 set coming and finding room to upgrade this deck. So there will be plenty of upgrades for the future.

OP09 Purple/Black (Luffy) Deck Profile

I'm afraid where we are at a point, we are getting too many Luffy Leader and not enough other. Well, I guess it is because Luffy is the face of One Piece like with any other Characters from other series. So it is not surprising if they focused on Luffy more than the other Characters in the series. Anyway, this time we've got Nika Luffy as the Leader which is something different than the normal Luffy we've seen so far in the game, and the effect is pretty good. You can actually run mono purple in this build if you wanted as the black side of the card pool doesn't really fit this deck style.
