ONE PIECE CARD GAME OP17 Unboxing

 

I didn't expect we get an unboxing video for the EN side of things. I wish I didn't waste my time to post the JP video then. Of course, I prefer the EN side since it's the format mainly for most players and the booster box is different than JP side. Just like the other unboxing video, I will skip some cards that have already been revealed.

Didn't expect to see a new DCG video today. I thought there wouldn't be one considering they usually release a video on Thursday. To be honest, when I first saw their channel, it was on a Tuesday, no idea when they move the time. Anyway, we can see both Time Strangers build in the thumbnail, but I am interested in the new card release.

GCG Link Station Ep 54 - It's The GCG Strongest Crew Member Tournament!

 

Last week, it was ST14 reveals, and this week will be ST12 reveals. It seems they also made the starter card very specific compare to last week. I guess that is the improvement. I don't really care about this Link Station tournament as you know, it could be scripted just for entertainment. But it could still be good help for deck ideas if nobody else have built that deck.

As the release date is at the end of this month, we have a unboxing video opening 3 boxes of OP17. I will skip some of the cards reveals as they have been revealed in the previous videos, and only post the ones that haven't been shown before. Of course, if you kept up with the leaks, they won't be something new.

ST34 Purple (Katakuri) Deck Profile

I must say, the starter deck supports for Katakuri totally abandon checking your opponent's top card style. I actually like it more as it means I can play cards without having the need to use the Leader's effect first before I can use my card's effects. Now, Katakuri's effect is just a power bonus where we could swing for better numbers as well as being able to see the next card of your opponent's deck. 

ST32 Green (Zoro) Deck Profile

Zoro got some nice upgrade from the starter deck, and I think this deck will also get upgrade using some OP17 cards. Although, no idea how I'm going to fit OP17 stuff into Zoro, but can't wait to try them out. Some of the cards from the starter deck are great, and some will just be filling the numbers until OP17 arrives.

ONE PIECE CARD GAME -THE WORLD'S STRONGEST WARRIORS- OP-17 New Information

Our Gavin guy appears in both JP and EN channel at the same time for both live video. No idea which one is pre recorded and which one is real time, but they could be both pre recorded videos. I'm not sure if Gavin provided the same reaction in both of these video as I've only decided to go for the EN video. I also only just noticed, not a single blue got revealed, and thought the set was just focusing on the Emperors.

ST33 Blue (Kuzan) Deck Profile

Kuzan is back with a decent upgrade from the starter deck as well as using OP16 cards. I don't think OP17 will have the cards to upgrade this build, but I haven't fully checked the list. The deck will constantly change anyway, so it is not like this would be the final build.

GCG Link Station Ep 53 - Freedom Ascension [GD05] Upgrade Battle!

 

We do have ST14 cards reveal and in this video will be showing the 2 decks with the GD05 supports. Of course, I care more about the cards reveal than the fight, but I must say, writing ST11-14 is just a lie when I can only see ST14 cards only. Might as well ignore ST11 and the rest and just write ST14 only.

NARUTO CARD GAME Overview Trailer

 

I know, I am late to the party with this NCG trailer. The game will be releasing in Summer 2027 which is still a long way to go. To be honest, I am thinking Bandai is getting a bit greedy with releasing new card game per year. They could end up making like 20 card games at this rate, but they still won't be able to take down the big 3.

DIGIMON CARD BATTLE - Digimon Card Family 3 on 3! Part. 3

 

Part 3 of this 3 on 3 battle. I guess the good part will be a lot of decks can be shown in these past videos. Only downside, if you are not interested, it will be the 3rd week of nothing to watch, and only go straight to card reveal like me, where they mostly reveal 1 at a time.

Another short video for OP17, and it is all about Events from each of the colours. I think OP17 release date is quite close to coming out next month, so I'm surprised we are at revealing Events stage, unless I've got the dates mixed up with other games, and it could be at the end of next month.

Gundam Card Game GD05 Freedom Ascension First Anniversary English Language Live Stream

 

This video has the English commentating and not an English voice over, so they might have missed some parts of the video. I was also surprised they've managed to invite a VA for this video, of course, it's the JP VA and not EN VA, since this Live stream is still Japanese.

DIGIMON CARD BATTLE - Digimon Card Family 3 on 3! Part. 2

 

As always, I'll be commenting on the cards instead of the fight itself as I'm not really interested in this 3v3 game since it's just 1v1 3 times. I think even a group of friends would rather play multiplayer game like GCG where they have tag fights and battle royale which is more interesting than 1v1. Of course, you could always make up your own rules as long as you don't go overboard.

No idea if the EN channel will be posting these cards, and if they do at a later time, I might stop posting this as it's much easier to have the official text rather than fanmade. This will be a short post since the video is only 12 mins with the cards for each Leader getting revealed.

OP16 Blue/Purple (Luffy) Deck Profile

Not a major change to Luffy, pretty much only added 1 new card for this build, as there are blue cards that works in a lot of blue decks. This deck isn't as effective as before since the rotation kicks in losing some of the key cards for Luffy. But, what's done is done, and its really up to what cards will be available for this build.

OP16 Yellow (Enel) Deck Profile

Not a huge change for yellow Enel as purple Enel is the meta now whilst yellow Enel have dropped. Then again, this deck is more expensive to build than purple Enel because some of the yellow cards are just that good in other builds. Not to mention, purple Enel is currently keeping up with the meta without a new set of support or even 1 or 2 card upgrade.

OP16 Red/Blue (Ace) Deck Profile

Just like OP16 Ace, OP13 Ace will get some supports from OP17, unless they've decided to focus on mono colours. So this will be a temporary build until we can see the supports from the next set. There are a few cards from OP16 that could be used in this build, so it's not just a 1 or 2 card upgrade.

Palworld Card Game

 

As I was playing Palworld 1.0, looking for guides on YouTube, I discovered that Palword has a card game. The game got so big that now we have card game like Pokemon. I don't think Nintendo will be happy about this since they've been suing Palworld for a long time

GCG Link Station Ep 52 - [GD05]＆Deck Build Box[SC01] First Unboxing!

 

We've got 2 different unboxing in this video, 1 is GD05 and the other is SC01 which is a deck build box for beginners who didn't get the old cards. Of course, for me, the deck build box will be important, and hope it has the staples for each colours, otherwise, you will still need to find them online to get the cards.
