OP10 Red (Zoro) Deck Profile

I don't think there would be too much update for Zoro since we are only replacing two cards, or maybe one from OP10 set. The Chopper engine is still good enough, but definitely need some new cards to give the deck a bit more against the newer decks. Although EB02 could help this build with the new Chopper that will be suited for this deck.

OP10 Zoro

How it Works?

To fit both Animal and SH engine together in one deck is difficult as I had to make some sacrifice for more power, and also staying aggressive against your opponents. We do want to trigger Zoro's Leader effect which is also why I am also running ST21 Luffy who makes a huge difference for this build, as we won't need to have untap DONs in order to attach it to Zoro Leader. You have cards like OP04 and OP08 Chopper who can play your Animal Characters for free, and we are running a large amount of Animal Characters, mainly Chopper in this build, so you should have plenty of options.

Rush

Spamming Characters maybe not enough as some won't be able to attack because of summon sickness. However, with these Rush cards we can go aggressive against your opponents, and don't need to set up the field. Robson will need 2 DONs attached in order to use the effect which is gaining Rush ability and becoming a 6k beat stick. Although, altogether it will cost you 5 DONs to do so, 3 for playing, and 2 for attaching, unless we get ST21 Luffy on the field.

OP01 Zoro is just a 3 drop Rush Character who is a 5k beat stick which is good for hitting magic numbers unlike Robson, but I guess if we include DONs power, then Robson can become 6k beat stick. Although combined with Zoro's Leader effect, then Zoro could hit 6k power which is a good amount of power to swing at your opponent.

ST21 Luffy is one of the main card of the deck. He is needed to trigger Zoro's Leader effect so we don't need untap DONs to attach it to Zoro Leader. The effect works when attacking, attach 1 rested DON to your Leader or 1 of your Characters. At the same time, we can trigger Zoro's Leader effect making Luffy a 7k beat stick to swing at your opponent's Characters.

Dragon is also in the build because our Animal engine have low base power, so your opponents can easily wipe your Characters if we can't protect them, and Dragon is the only high power beat stick in this build. As most of the time, we would be relying on Zoro Leader to power up the Characters. The effect works on play, attach up to 2 rested DONs to your Leader or 1 of your Characters.

Free Play

The cards that can spam your Animal Characters to the field, filling up the board in one go with minimum DONs needed to play your cards. OP08 Chopper is one of our main card in the deck, because the effect can work on play or when attacking, look at the top 5 cards of your deck, play up to 1 Animal type Character with 4k power or less rested. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order. The downside is that we have to play our Animal Characters rested, so your opponents can attack into those Characters, reducing your board or make you use some counters from hand.

OP04 Chopper is different, instead of playing Characters from the deck, we can only play Characters from our hand. The effect works on play, play up to one 3k power or less Animal type Character from your hand. We could use OP08 Chopper to play OP04 Chopper from deck, then use OP04 Chopper's effect to play another Character from hand. So in one turn, we could get 3 Characters on the field with minimal DONs needed.

Just Shut Up is the only Event I am running for the build since I needed room to fit some Characters for the deck. It isn't one of those Counters where our card could gain power, instead, the effect is similar to OP08 Chopper's effect. The counter effect is look at the top 5 cards of your deck and play up to one 3 cost or less Animal type Character. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order. Unfortunately, OP08 Chopper only works during our turn, but we could play OP04 Chopper to play another Character from our hand, ready to attack on your next turn.

Power

Now the power cards, but one of them doesn't gain power, instead we can reduce power, but I put that card in this section since they are related to power. Most of these cards can gain power, if we combine with Zoro Leader, they could become deadly beat stick. Hiking Bear is one of our key cards, as we can power up our Animal Characters, combining with Zoro Leader, creating some deadly beat stick. You will need to attach a DON for the effect to work. The effect is also an activate main effect. Once per turn 1 of your Animal type Characters other than this card gains 1k power this turn.

EB01 Chopper is a Blocker with a when attacking effect, you will need to attach 2 DONs for the effect to work. The effect is reduce 1 of your opponent's Characters power by 3k this turn. Although, as you know, we don't have any removal in this build, so weaking your opponent's Characters may be pointless, unless we are planning on attacking into those Characters with our power.

OP10 Sanji is one of the new addition to the build, and with this Sanji, we could make our attacks gain more power combined with Zoro Leader. The first effect works during your turn, this Character gains 3k power, making Sanji a 6k beat stick, but with Zoro Leader, we can make Sanji into a 7k beat stick which is not bad for a 3 drop Character. The second effect works on KO, draw 1 card.

Lastly, we have OP10 Chopper, unfortunately this version is not Animal type because he is in Sanji's body, but still a SH card, so we can search him out from deck with our searcher. Chopper is a Blocker with an effect that works during your opponent's turn. This Character gains 2k power, making Chopper a 6k Blocker, and even if you don't plan on playing OP10 version, the 2k counter can be really handy.

Searchers

For the searchers, we've got these cards to get certain cards into our hand. Dr Kureha works on play, look at the top 4 cards of your deck, reveal up to 1 Chopper or Drum Kingdom card other than Kureha and add it to your hand. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order. There are plenty of Chopper in this deck we can search out, so we don't need to worry too much about Drum Kingdom cards.

As you know, the Chopper engine are mainly SH, so we can run Nami in the build along with other SH cards to improve the searching for the build. The effect works on play, look at the top 5 cards of your deck, reveal up to 1 SH card other than Nami and add it to your hand. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order.

Lastly we've got OP01 Chopper, OP01 Chopper doesn't search from the deck, but from the trash instead. You will need to attach a DON onto the card for the effect to work. The effect works when attacking, you may trash 1 card from your hand to add one 4 cost or less SH Character other than Chopper from your trash to your hand. We might be running a large number of Chopper in the build, but there are other SH choices we could choose from.
