Personally, I am glad that this is translated considering we are moving to globalise OPCG. In this video, they are talking about the 2 Starter decks ST26 and ST27. Bandai took the form of ST16 to ST20 where these are all reprinted starter decks but with a bit of new cards. I personally like this idea of thinking, because it would means new players doesn't have to find old cards for the deck, especially when Bandai only print a limit number of OP sets, so once the cards are gone, they are gone for good.
There is a game after the card reveals, so if you are interested, you can watch the rest of the video. But I am only interested in the new cards from the starter deck, and since currently I owned a BB deck in real life, ST27 could be interesting to update the build. There's also Yamato starter deck too, so I'm looking forward to both of those STs.
Cards
This Robin is mainly suited for P/B Luffy Leader as we could get 1 extra DON combined with Luffy's Leader effect. Of course, you also got other cards like OP05 Kid and OP08 Pudding who could make use of returning DONs, so in the end you won't lose much from returning 2 DONs in that specific build. Not to mention Robin also has 2k counter which is good during late game where we wouldn't need the ramp as much unless you decided to return all your DONs cards. |

I really like Luffy's effect because the effect works when attacking and on play. Not to mention, this can also work with our R/P Luffy Leader. However, the timing will be important if you are planning to run ST10 Kid to power up your Leader more, because Luffy can easily reset the base power down to 7k if you miss time your attacks. I think Kid can stack the power looking at the wording of Luffy, unless rulings says otherwise. 5 or more DONs is not difficult to do since this is usually turn 3-4 or turn 6-7 depending on how you want to count the turns, and we can instantly trigger this effect, so I am actually quite surprised they made the requirement easy to trigger unless I am reading this card wrong. |

Next, we have 3 cards revealed at the same time. Personally Chopper's effect only works best with cost reducers, and Ice Age being banned, that would hurt our choices of choosing other cost reducers. Otherwise, he is just a 3 drop Blocker we can use to stop your opponent's attacks. Soba Mask is pretty strong as we can actually cheap him our for 2 if we have Sangorou or Sanji with base power 7k or more on the field. I don't think this is difficult to do as we have some choices to choose from. The on play effect lets you return Sangorou, letting you play Sangorou's on play effect again to play another Straw Hat to the field constantly filling up the field in a turn. Next we have General Franky, a nice 8 drop 10k beat stick we can use but the effect is not that strong. I guess choosing up to 2 Characters would make some kind of difference, since we could attack into those Characters. But there are better cards to use other than General. |

Looks like all this BB Kuzan focused on playing BB Pirates from your trash, and I like this effect. Not only this is a Blocker, but we can easily trigger the On KO effect to bring back a BB Pirate Character from your trash. However, he does cost 6 to play, but I guess for BB deck, we don't spend as much DONs once we have the set up on the field, so 6 cost can mean nothing for us. |

Now, we have the main card Blackbeard. Reading this effect, unlike Luffy, Blackbeard can work in any black build, and what I especially like about this card is he on KO effect. You get to bring back any cards as long as the colour is black. This is very good in mill decks like Dressrosa or CP deck who are constantly milling their deck filling up the trash, and sometime you can accidently mill the card you need. Not to mention, Blackbeard is a 7 drop which means you could use OP05 Rebecca to bring him back from trash to your hand. I can definitely see this card being in some used, especially now when Moria is banned in the builds, giving you the extra room to fit in other cards. |

Next we have Avalo who only works with a Stage card, but once we do, he become a beat stick, not to mention we also get more draw power. I guess this will make our BB decks more aggressive, since they mainly focus on set up currently to get thing going. Avalo can really make a major difference in the build. Also the extra draw is definitely useful as we want to use our hand for BB's Leader effect, but we can't constantly trigger BB's Leader effect or else we would ran out of cards in our hand. |
