The new Warlord supports made Doffy so much better to use, and I like it a lot compare to the previous versions. Although I think there's only 1 card who would be suited to Hancock deck whilst the rest is more focus on Doffy. The problem previously was using Doffy's Leader effect who cost you 3 DONs altogether. The new cards from the starter deck solve this problem easily, so we could be able to spam Warlords with ease.
ST17 Doffy |

Characters x46 Events x2 |
How it Works?
This works by spamming Seven Warlords Characters from the top of your deck. This shouldn't be difficult to do since our 7 Warlords are 4 drop or less which meets the requirements for Doffy's Leader effect. There are also a few draw powers in this build on top of spamming Characters, so you will gain some decent hand size. I guess the only downside will be power, as we don't really have any deadly beat sticks who could force your opponents to use a lot of counters from their hand. But I guess if we can attack with 5 Characters on the field at once, that would make up with the lack of power the deck has.
Arranging the Top Cards
These cards will be your key cards so we can play 7 Warlords from the top of the deck. OP01 Doffy is a Blocker with an on play effect, look at top 5 cards of your deck and place them on top or bottom of your deck in any order. The only thing you don't want is to play Doffy using Doffy's Leader effect as he will come into play rested, making the Blocker ability useless.
ST17 Buggy is a bit like OP01 Perona, but being a Warlord Character give this card more advantage since we can play him using Doffy's Leader effect. The effect works on play, look at the top 3 cards of your deck and place them on top of your deck in any order. The only downside is that we can't place those cards to the bottom of the deck like OP01 Doffy, but since the deck mainly consists of 4 drop or less Warlords, this doesn't matter too much.
ST17 Hancock is also a Blocker which will be handy in stopping your opponent's attacks. The on play effect is look at the top 3 cards of your deck and place them on top of your deck in any order. Then, attach 1 rested DONs to 1 of your 7 Warlords Leader or Characters. So this effect is the same as Buggy, but we also get to attach a DON to our cards, this would be helpful in triggering Doffy's Leader effect.
Another Character who can give rested DONs to your cards is Blackbeard aka Teach. The effect is an activate main effect, you may place 1 card from your hand to the top of your deck to attach 2 rested DONs to 1 of your Leader or Characters. Now Blackbeard doesn't check the top cards like the other Characters I've mentioned, but instead we choose the cards from our hand instead, so if there are any cards we want to play for free, we can use Blackbeard's effect to put the Character on top, then use Doffy's Leader effect to play that Character. He is a key card in the build since he can easily trigger Doffy's Leader effect with ease.
Returning
Now we will talk about the blue style of the deck where we focus on returning your opponent's cards either back to hand or back to deck. OP06 Pudding works on play, your opponent returns all cards in their hand to their deck and shuffles their deck. Your opponent draw 5 cards. This pretty much stops your opponents from gaining a massive hand size and give them a new hand ruining their next play.
OP07 Crocs only target very specific cost. The effect works on play, return one 2 cost or less Character to the owner's hand. His effect means we can target Buggy to reuse his on play effect again to check the top cards of the deck, but also opening up the field so we can play our 4 cost or less 7 Warlords from the deck.
Another card who can open up your field is ST17 Law. Law works on play, you may return 1 of your Characters to the owner's hand, if your Leader is 7 Warlords type, return one 4 cost or less Character to the owner's hand. The first part of the effect requires you to return your own Characters, but the second part of the ability can choose any cards. It really depends if you want to replace your Characters without retiring them or making your opponents hard play those Characters again.
Draw
What this deck also has is the draw power as well as playing Characters for free, so we can get a decent hand size as well as drawing into the cards we need. EB01 Weevil works on play, draw 1 card. A very simple effect and he is a 6k beat stick which is very useful when we are playing Warlords at rest using Doffy's Leader effect. The only downside is that he doesn't have a counter, but that doesn't matter as we've got ways to put Weevil on top of the deck for Doffy's Leader effect to play.
ST03 Mihawk works when attacking, but you will need to attach a DON onto him in order for this effect to work. Draw 2 cards and trash 2 cards from your hand, this way we could get rid of any cards we won't be needing for cards we do need on top of being a 6k beat stick if we include the DON power. But more importantly he also have 2k counter, so if you are not planning to play Mihawk, the 2k counter will come in handy.
ST17 Crocodile is a draw power card, but we can also put cards on top of our deck, making the effect very useful for Doffy Leader. The effect works on play, reveal the top card of your deck, if that card is 7 Warlords type, draw 2 cards and place 1 card from your hand to top of your deck. Revealing 7 Warlords shouldn't be too difficult as we ways to put those cards on top of deck.
7 Warlords Supports
The rest of the cards that only works with 7 Warlords, but they provide very useful support for the deck. OP07 Jinbe works on play, play one 4 cost or less Seven Warlords Character other than Jinbe from your hand. There are plenty of Warlords target we can choose, so this will depends on what you can play from your hand when you use Jinbe's effect.
OP07 Sengoku is just a searcher. The effect works on play, look at top 5 cards of your deck, reveal one 7 Warlord card and add it to your hand. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order. Well Sengoku is not a Warlord, he is a Navy card which is why we don't have other than Sengoku in this search effect like most searchers.
ST03 Moria works on play, add one 4 cost or less 7 Warlords or Thriller Bark Pirates Character other than Moria from your trash to your hand. The best thing about Moria is that we can recycle certain cards like Jinbe or Weevil, and most of the 7 Warlords Characters are 4 cost or less in this build, so we shouldn't have difficulties in choosing who we want from our trash.
Perfume Femur is a nice situational card we can use, well especially since our Characters are low cost, so we could use plenty of DONs on that Character. The effect is 1 of your 7 Warlords Leader or Characters gains 2k power. Then, when that card attacks during this turn, your opponents cannot activate Blockers. So the more power you can give to that card, the more counters your opponents will need. But of course, this would works the best when your opponent's Life is at 0 and they have some Blockers on the field. The trigger effect is just draw 1 card, in case you need the draw power.
