New RDA Supports

Usually, I don't talk about YGO since I only play this game for fun and not the competitive scene. It's also the money to put into the side deck can be ridiculous considering that I need the staple cards. So it is cheaper to play the game on a simulator rather than in real life. Although, Konami did reprint some of the staple cards recently which brough some cards pricing down.

In the new set Blazing Dominion, we've got the new Resonator/RDA supports. Looking at the new cards, it is so sad seeing the state of Synchrons. I would rather play Resonators as my main Synchro deck over Synchrons simply because,, Synchrons rely too much on Speeder to pull off their Synchro spam, and if your opponent can shut Speeder from activation, you basically have no way to recover, whereas Resonators got Red Rising, but you can go into Lv8 Synchro Dragons thanks to the Bystial, so Red Rising wouldn't matter too much if you can't go into the card.

We've got the effect reveals for RDA supports and I must say, I can't wait to try them, I might be able to push it to 60 cards, even though 60 cards is never a good idea. My current build is 48, but that's only because I am running both Bystial and Centurion, plus with other hand traps. 48 might be a lot but if the deck can constantly search and spam monsters, you can easily go through the deck very easily, plus, most decks run like Fuwalos or Purulia in the build for more draw power.

● 1+: Special Summon 1 DARK Synchro Monster from your GY or banishment.
● 3+: “Red Dragon Archfiend” in your Monster Zone is unaffected by your opponent’s activated effects until the end of your next turn.
● 5+: Change all monsters your opponent currently controls to face-down Defense Position.

We also have Assault Mode supports which you can get in the Burst Protocol pack, and I really like Red Nova AM as this card reminds me of Supernova, and we can cheat out Red Nova already. Although, I am not sure if it's worth the space to run the AM engine in the build as drawing those cards at the wrong time could affect your plays, plus I do want Red Nova power over AM 4k ATK, so we could take out your opponent's Life Point with 1 swing.

I might be hyping this up, but I am disappointed in Synchrons supports, I have no choice but to root for Resonators instead. Synchrons have to rely on Speeder, and Speeder is the combo, whereas Resonators doesn't rely on 1 Synchro, we have different plays we can do and can also bait your opponent's hand traps. Although, currently, we have to use Red Rising, but not always if you've got Bystial or Centurion in hand, you could go for other Synchros.

I guess another reason to play Resonators is that the extra deck is mainly Dragons, and if Dragons are your main type in YGO, then, this deck would be better, and seeing Crimson Blade Dragon means we finally got another Lv7 Dark Synchro Dragon we can use rather than the one in Burst Protocol who works during a chain.
