Nothing new in this video, just a battle between the 2 decks. But what I find, is that game can be very long, but can also be very short if you cannot stop the Units. The game is only new, but I am hoping there might be more cards that could remove your opponent's units, otherwise blocking will not be enough.
I also know, why they didn't put deck building and battle in one video, because I didn't expect the game would be this long. I do like long games as it feels like you've actually done something rather than winning with 15 mins. Although, it might be possible to win in 15 mins if Gundam decide to take the Digimon path.
As you know, at the beginning of DCG, the games were pretty long, but now, you can easily beat your opponents within 10 mins if your opponents can't stop your Digimon. I can imagine GCG can go down to this path if they are not careful with the balance of the cards and the mechanic. But I think we could find out within 5 sets later for GCG.
I wouldn't get my hope too high for this game, it could be fun at first, but a few more set later, it could get pretty ridiculous if they don't have rotation. That is another thing people should worry about, GCG could take the rotation route to prevent long ban lists and also have new decks, so old decks won't hog the meta like OPCG.
