This deck is a bit interesting as we get to play Insectroid for free thanks to Tyrant's effect. I've only added 2 cards from the LM set for this deck. There are more new Insectroid supports coming from EX8, although with the current build, it would be really difficult to change unless you don't have the promos. But BT15 set also has some cards we could replace the promos with, so you won't really need the new cards from EX8 set unless you really want to.

How it Works?
This deck is very simple as we focus on suspending your opponent's Digimon so our Digimon could gain enough power to attack the suspended Digimon, triggering the inherited effects which are mostly gaining memory when your opponent's Digimon are deleted. You also want Izzy in play so we can redirect the attacks to our Digimon, a different way instead of using Blocker abilities. We do want to digivolve into Tyrant as soon as possible, so we can trigger Tyrant's effect to play our Digimon for free whilst returning your opponent's Digimon back to deck. This is why I am running plenty of digivolve cost reducers just so we could digivolve into Tyrant as soon as possible.
Personally, I think we can get away with running 8 rookies since as soon as we play Tyrant, we could play our high level for free, spamming the field whilst also setting up for the effects. Although, I am not sure which cards to replace, maybe Paladin Ace.
The Megas
What this deck mainly has is the access to different Megas, and each of them has different role to the build. BT18 AncientBeetlemon can be optional, you can run this or just bump the number of HerculesKabuterimon instead. You can digivolve on top of a Lv5 Insectroid for 3 memory which is why we don't care about the colour. The DigiXros condition will be difficult as I am not running any of those Digimon in the build. There are 2 effects, the first effect works on play or when digivolving, De-Digivolve 2 on 2 of your opponent's Digimon. This effect is very good during the mid to late stages of the game, but will be useless during the early stages. The second effect works all turn, when this Digimon would leave the battle area, you may play 1 Lv4 or less Insectroid or Hybrid from this Digimon's digi source without paying the cost. Thanks to this effect, we could still keep Digimon on the field so we could digivolve on top.
BT15 HerculesKabuterimon is a card where you can run more copies, as we need cards to suspend your opponent's Digimon so we can attack into those Digimon and trigger the inherited effect. Hercules have 2 effects just like AncientBeetlemon, the first effect works on play or when digivolving, suspend 1 of your opponent's Digimon, 1 of your Digimon gains Piercing for the turn. Piercing is very strong for this build as we can still make your opponents do security check whilst losing their Digimon at the same time. The second effect works all turns, when this Digimon is suspended, it is not affected by your opponent's Digimon effects. We still got Option cards, but if your opponents only has Digimon for their removal, then Hercules is protected. This is also another reason why you could run more than 1 in the build.
TyrantKabuterimon is the main card of the deck, and if you could digivolve into Tyrant, then we can make the field pop off. You will need to digivolve for 6 memory which is a lot, but in return, we have a lot of bonuses. The alternative digivolve effect is digivolve on top of a Lv6 Insectroid and play cost of 13 or less. This is doable as we've got plenty of Lv6 in the build and much better than paying 6 to digivolve. Tyrant has 3 effects, the first effect works when digivolving, you may play 1 Insectroid or Larva Digimon from your hand with the reduce play cost of 8. This literally let us play most of the cards in this build for free. The second effect is exactly the same as Hercules, when this Digimon is suspended, it is not affected by your opponent's Digimon effects. So we could have 2 Digimon with protection against Digimon. The final effect works at the end of your turn, by suspending 1 of your other Digimon, return 1 of your opponent's Digimon with as much or less DP as the Digimon suspended by this effect. The final effect acts as a great removal, not only we can delete your opponent's Digimon, but if we haven't suspend those Digimon, then we can use Tyrant's effect to remove that Digimon.
Shivamon Ace is a great new addition to this build as this is an Ace card meaning, it will cost less to play and since Tyrant reduce cost by 8, we can literally play Shivamon for free. We can ignore the alternative digivolve cost as we don't run Pulsemon in the build. We've got Blast Digivolve with 2 effects. The first effect works on play or when digivolving, if you have 3 or more security, suspend 1 Digimon and 1 of your Digimon gains 3k DP until the end of your opponent's turn. If you have 3 or less security, return 1 of your opponent's suspended Digimon to the bottom of the deck. This effect is very good as not only we could boost our Digimon whilst suspending your opponent's Digimon, but if you hit 3 or less security, you could also return those Digimon back to deck. The second effect is exactly the same as Hercules and Tyrant's effect, when this Digimon is suspended, it is not affected by your opponent's Digimon effects.
GranKuwagamon Ace is option as you can just run 4 Shivamon Ace if you don't like GranKuwagamon's effect. GranKuwagamon can also be hard play with Tyrant's effect just like Shivamon as the cost is below 8, so we can play this for free. You can digivolve on top of a Lv5 Insectroid for 3. We've got Blast Digivolve with 2 effects, the first effect works on play or when digivolving, suspend 2 of your opponent's Digimon or Tamers. Cards suspended with this effect can't unsuspend during your opponent's unsuspend phase. Then, delete 1 of their suspended Tamers. I don't know how important are Tamers in the deck, but if we can remove their Tamers, it might slow your opponent's field, especially Tamers with important effects. The second effect is when this Digimon becomes suspended, 1 of your Digimon gains Security Attack +1. If you combine this with Hercules Piercing, we can easily deal 2 security check with 1 swing whilst deleting your opponent's Digimon. This is pretty much a win win situation.
Power
The more power we've got the higher the DP we can target with Tyrant's effect which is the key part of this build. Not only that, we can also swing at your opponent's suspended Digimon without the need to worry about our Digimon getting deleted. BT16 MetallifeKuwagamon works on play or when digivolving, you may suspend 1 Digimon. Then, 1 of your Digimon gains 3k DP until the end of your opponent's turn. This is not bad, not only we can suspend your opponent's Digimon, but we get to power up your Digimon at the same time. The inherited effect is when your opponent's Digimon attacks, you may switch the target to 1 of your suspended Insectroid Digimon. Thanks to this effect, as long as that Insectroid is rested, we could redirect the attacks protecting our security.
BladeKuwagamon has a very similar effect to Metallife. Just like Metallife, the main effect works on play or when digivolving, 1 of your Digimon gains 3k DP until the end of your opponent's turn. We don't suspend Digimon, but we do have the power bonus so we can use Tyrant's effect. The inherited effect is while this Digimon is suspended, this Digimon gains 1k DP. Now this effect works all turn, so we can redirect your opponent's attacks to our high DP Digimon, deleting those Digimon.
BT15 Tentomon is still a card why I don't get how it is super rare when Hercules's effect does something similar, and that card is a rare. The main effect works at the start of your main phase, by suspending 1 Digimon, 1 of your Insectroid Digimon gains 3k DP until the end of your opponent's turn. Unlike Blade and Metallife, the power bonus only targets Insectroid Digimon, but not like we would have trouble with that. The inherited effect works all turn, when this Digimon deletes an opponent's Digimon in battle, gain 1 memory. This inherited effect is really important as we could use this in both attack and defence, the 1 extra memory means we could give 1 memory less to your opponents, and your opponents will lose 1 extra memory, meaning we would get more memory if they decided to play high cost cards.
ST15 Lopmon works really well in this build because of the main effect. Once per turn, 1 of your Digimon gains Alliance. We don't have many deadly hitters, in fact we have power, but can only swing for 1 security check at a time if we don't have our security attackers, and that could be a problem if your opponents can outrush this build. Which is why Lopmon does a very good back up even though it is not an Insectroid Digimon. The inherited effect is exactly the same as Blade. While this Digimon is suspended, this Digimon gains 1k DP.
Prevention
What we also have in this build, is preventing your opponents from doing stuff, however, 2 of these cards are promo, and promos in Digimon are expensive. Promo MegaKabuterimon can be digivolve on top of a Lv4 Insectroid for 3. We have Evade as well as while this Digimon is suspended, it is not affected by your opponent's Digimon effects. This is exactly the same as Hercules and Tyrant's effects, protecting our Digimon from Digimon's effect so we could digivolve into our Megas more easily. The inherited effect is while this Digimon deletes an opponent's Digimon in battle, trash the top card of your opponent's security. This would means even if we delete your opponent's Digimon, they will still lose a security card, and if we combined this with Piercing, your opponents could lose 2 security cards just from deleting 1 Digimon.
Promo Kuwagamon is very situational as this card only works if your opponent has either a suspended Tamer or Digimon. The effect works on play or when digivolving, 1 of your opponent's Digimon or Tamers can't suspend until the end of their turn. Fun fact is that you can use this on unsuspend Digimon, then digivolve into Metallife to suspend that Digimon, forcing them to freeze or lock for a turn. The inherited effect is this Digimon gains 2k DP, and 2k DP will be very handy if we are attacking suspended Digimon.
BT15 Izzy is a memory setter with an effect that works during your opponent's turn. Basically it is the same as Metallife's effect. When an opponent's Digimon attacks, by suspending this Tamer, you may switch the target to 1 of your suspended Insectroid Digimon. So if you have both Izzy and Metallife's inherited effect in play, we could have double the defence, which is why Izzy must be played as soon as possible. The security effect is play this card without paying the cost.
Ramp
The ramp of the deck, the more you ramp, the more cards you can play which is important in Digimon, especially for this deck who rely on high level Digimon to work. BT3 Stingmon only has an inherited effect which is the same as Tentomon, when this Digimon deletes an opponent's Digimon in battle, gain 1 memory. So if you stack these 2 together, when you delete a Digimon, you will gain 2 memory, and 2 memory will be very helpful, not only that Stingmon only cost 1 to digivolve for a Lv4.
Green Memory Boost is our standard memory boost, and like most memory boost the delay effect will be the same, only the main effect will varies. The main effect is reveal the top 4 cards of your deck, add 1 green Digimon among them to your hand. Place the remaining cards at the bottom of your deck in any order. Then, place this card in your battle area. The only non green Digimon is AncientBeetlemon, but I am only running 1 copy in the deck. The second effect is a Delay effect, gain 2 memory. The security effect is place this card to the battle area.
Reducing Evolution Costs
As for reducing evolution costs, we've got plenty of those in the build, so we could digivolve into the Megas as soon as possible. BT3 Argomon can be replaced with BT3 Blossomon, the only difference is that Blossomon is 1 cost cheaper and doesn't have an inherited effect. The inherited effect doesn't really matter as I am aiming for digisorption 3 which reduces this digivolution cost by 3 by suspending our Digimon. The inherited effect works when attacking, you may play 1 Lv3 green Digimon from your hand suspended without paying the memory cost. I am not running a lot of Lv3s in the build as we want to focus more on the higher levels.
Another limited card is Hidden Potential as we want the main effect. The main effect is for the turn, when 1 of your green Digimon would digivolve, by suspending 1 of your Digimon, reduce the digivolution cost by 5. So basically we could digivolve Tyrant for 1 instead of paying the full 6. Green Megas are very high cost for some reason, but looks like Bandai didn't think this through and made this option a bit broken for green. The security effect is add this card to the hand.
Green Scramble is the same as any other Scramble cards. The main effect is 1 of your green Digimon may digivolve into a green Digimon from your hand with the reduced digivolution cost by 3. Then, place this card in your battle area. The delay effect works at the start of your turn and if your opponent has a Digimon, return 1 green Digimon from your trash to the top of your deck, then if you don't have a Digimon in play, you may play 1 green Digimon with 2k DP or less from your trash without paying the cost. We might struggle with the delay effect as we don't really care about rookies, but you return green Digimon back to top of your deck to draw the card. The security effect is pretty much the same as the delay effect. You may play 1 green Digimon with 2k DP or less from your trash without paying the cost. Then, add this card to the hand. This might be a bit difficult unless our Lv3s end up in the trash.
Agility Training is like the Scramble cards where we have similar effects for the Training cards. The main effect is reveal the top 2 cards of your deck, add 1 green card among them to your hand. Place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order. Then, place this card in your battle area. This effect is very useful as we need the right Insectroid cards to make the deck pop off. The second effect is a delay effect, 1 of your Digimon may digivolve into a green Digimon in your hand with the digivolution cost reduced by 2. If we digivolve on top of a Lv6 Insectroid with Tyrant, Tyrant could digivolve for free. The security effect is place this card to the battle area.
