What I like about Extra Boosters is that the set focus on supports for older decks compare to OP sets. Of course, OP sets do have some cards we can upgrade for our old decks, but Extra Boosters have more cards that can support plenty of old decks. Anyway, in this video, we will see the SR cards revealed for the EB02 set. Some of the SRs revealed can be used in more than one build and I am looking forward in trying them in different builds. That will also lead to some very expensive SRs from this EB set if those cards work in variety of builds.
Well I don't know how much they would cost, but I could assume that they might cost more than OP set SRs. OP set SRs are cheaper what they used to, well definitely cheaper compare to first few sets. It is all about if that card will rise or drop, depending on how much it is used in a build. Although lately, I do think OP sets SRs are cheaper than what they used to which is why I do enjoy this game. Anyway, I will post the cards below with their translation.
Yamato
Red Character (EB02-006)
6 Cost / 7000 Power (Strike)
Land of Wano
[Activate:Main] [Once Per Turn] If your Leader has the {Land of Wano} type or is [Portgas.D.Ace], give up to 1 rested DON!! card to your Leader. Then, this Character gains <Rush> during this turn.
Looks like the new Yamato works very well with RG Oden Leader, but what I am surprised is that she can also works with Ace. Although, I can only think of 1 Ace Leader for red, not like it doesn't work for Ace build, I'm just thinking it is aim toward to Oden more. |

Arlong
Green Character (EB02-011)
3 Cost / 4000 Power (Slash)
Fish-Man/East Blue/Arlong Pirates
[Counter +1000]
[On Play] If your Leader has the {Fish-Man} or {East Blue} type, give up to 1 rested DON!! to your Leader. Then, up to 1 of your opponent's Characters with a cost of 5 or less cannot be rested until the end of your opponent's next turn.
This Arlong is not bad, but just like Yamato, he only works with a specific type of build. However, having East Blue type does let Arlong use in a few builds as we got a few East Blue green Leader, so I guess I can't wait to try this out in those build a long with OP set cards. |

Jewelry Bonney
Green Character (EB02-015)
7 Cost / 7000 Power (Special)
Supernovas/Bonney Pirates
[Counter +1000]
[On Play] Up to 1 of your opponent’s rested Characters will not become active in your opponent's next Refresh Phase. Then, set up to 1 of your DON!! cards as active at the end of this turn.
Looks like Bonney's effect feel the same as OP07 version except this time, we can untap a DON. Untapping DONs is always useful, especially when Bonney Leader tap DONs during your opponent's turn, and this is also not including any Event Counters. What's more, compare to Arlong and Yamato, Bonney is not restricted to 1 type of build, so I could use this in a lot of Green builds if I managed to find the room to slot her in the build. Who knows, I might be able to fit Arlong and Bonney in one deck build if that deck build needs new cards. |

Nefeltari Vivi
Blue Character (EB02-025)
3 Cost / 2000 Power (Slash)
Alabasta
[Counter +1000]
[On Play] If your Leader is multicolored and you have 5 or less cards in hand, draw 2 cards.
This is just 4 drop Reiju, but better as Reiju only works in specific purple decks, whilst Vivi and work in any blue deck as long as that Leader is multicoloured. Well, I guess Vivi is also 1 less cheaper than Reiju, the only difference will be their power, Reiju is a nice 5k beat stick whilst Vivi only has 2k power. But I can see Vivi being used in a lot of builds as long as that Leader is multicoloured, I mean who doesn't want those draw, we don't need to rely on 10 drop Kaido to draw 4 cards. |

Sanji & Pudding
Purple Character (EB02-035)
5 Cost / 7000 Power (Strike/Wisdom)
Straw Hat Crew/Big Mom Pirates
[Your Turn] [Once Per Turn] When 2 or more of your DON!! cards on your field are returned to your DON!! deck, add up to 1 DON!! card from your DON!! deck and set it as active.
[On Play] If the number of DON!! cards on your field is equal to or less than the number on your opponent’s field, draw 1 card.
Sanji and Pudding is perfect for 1 of my deck as I played ST04 Kaido Leader, and thanks to the recent OP08 set, ST04 Kaido Leader is very strong as I don't need to worry about losing too much DONs when I used the Leader effect. Sanji & Pudding will also be a great fit to that build as well, as it will be very easy to trigger the effect as well as having a 7k beat stick. I guess this also works with the new Nika Luffy Leader as well since the new OP09 Straw Hats focus on returning more than 1 DON back to DON deck, so we can use Nika Luffy's effect. |

Sengoku
Black Character (EB02-044)
7 Cost / 7000 Power (Wisdom)
Navy
[Counter +1000]
<Blocker>
[On Play] Play up to 1 black {Navy} type Character card with a cost of 4 or less from your trash rested.
Sengoku is very nice for Navy build as we get to bring back certain Navy cards from the trash and use their on play effect again, especially the cost reducers who are mainly Navy cards. Not to mention, he is a Blocker, and a Navy Blocker as well, so we don't have to use Kizaru, Rebecca or Sabo in the build, but not like I would remove those cards, I'll still keep them. Although, I don't think you would want to pay 7 DONs for a Blocker unless you have a follow up move. But we will see, as I might be wrong since anything is possible in this game. |

Trafalgar Law
Black Character (EB02-045)
5 Cost / 6000 Power (Slash)
Dressrosa/Supernovas/Heart Pirates
[Counter +1000]
[Blocker]
[On Play] You may place 2 cards from your trash at the bottom of your deck in any order: Choose one of the following.
- Draw 1 card
- If your opponent has 5 or more cards in their hand, trash 1 card from their hand
Finally, we've got Dressrosa support, although, Law can be used in any other black builds if we can find the room, but the options are pretty good. You can either draw or makes your opponents discard a card. This Law does reminds me of ST10 Law who is also a Blocker and also a hand destruction card, who knows, I might be able to make hand destruction deck for fun. |

Enel
Yellow Character (EB02-052)
10 Cost / 11000 Power (Special)
Sky Island
If your Leader has the {Sky Island} type, this Character gains <Rush>
[When Attacking] You may trash 1 card from your hand: If you have 1 or less Life cards, add up to 1 card from the top of your deck to the top of your Life cards. Then, this Character gains +1000 power during this turn.
Now, we got Enel, I personally think this Enel is a bit broken. You can run this in any Yellow build, we can just ignore the Rush ability. What I want to talk about is the second effect, yes we discard a card as a cost, but we can constantly refill the Life area when we have 1 or less Life cards. This is only a theory, he might not work because he cost 10 to play. Although for yellow decks having Life gain is very easy. Well, we will have to |

Vegapunk
Yellow Character (EB02-052)
5 Cost / 0 Power (Wisdom)
Egghead/Scientist
[Counter +1000]
<Blocker>
[On Play] Look at the top 5 cards of your deck and play up to 1 {Scientist} type Character card with a cost of 5 or less other than {Vegapunk}. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order. If your opponent have 2 or less Characters, trash 1 card from your hand.
[Trigger] Draw 1 card.
The final SR revealed for this set is Vegapunk. More Egghead support, although only specific to Scientist Characters, so the Satellite Characters. If it was Egghead, it will give us more choices then, but I guess they didn't want to make Vegapunk too broken. Don't forget Vegapunk Leader can play Vegapunk Characters as Vegapunk Leader is only restricted to 5 cost or less Egghead Characters. Plus, being a Blocker means we clan slow your opponent's attacks down which is what we need in a Vegapunk build. |
