EX7 Nature Spirits Deck Profile

Nature Spirits is another deck like Three Musketeers where you can build the deck straight out of the booster set. Although unlike Three Musketeers, we do need few more cards outside of EX7 set, but the rest should be easy to build for new players. Just like Three Musketeers, we are not colour restricted which is why I didn't add the colours next to NSp deck profile. I find this interesting, it's fun, but I don't know if you want to enter this in competition. It is slow to set up, so there are plenty of counters out there against this deck.

EX7 NSp

How it Works?

This deck works by hard playing some of your Digimon so we can get to our Lv6s to start spamming other Digimon to DNA digivolve into Tlalocmon. Once, you get Tlalocmon on the field, we can pretty much take out any Digimon we want because we've been playing some NSp Digimon from free using Tlalocmon and Eldradimon's effect. You will need to DNA digivolve if you want to get more Digimon into play, but if you don't want to, just getting 1 will be pretty strong for Tlalocmon's effect.

There are some draw power involve, promo Wanyamon plays a huge role for this deck, and unfortunately, it is a promo card, and not from a set or starter deck. You also have Gekomon for the draw power too, so I wouldn't worry too much about digivolving, but if you want to get the cards you need, then digivolving would be helpful.

The Megas

The deck is centred around Megas, especially Tlalocmon to get the deck working. We also have 2 Ace Digimon so the Overflow will cost you when they get removed. Tlalocmon can be DNA digivolve using 1 Lv6 green or yellow Digimon and 1 Lv6 black or blue Digimon for the cost of 0. There are 2 effects, the first effect works when digivolving, you may play 1 NSp trait Digimon with a play cost of 7 or less from your hand without paying the cost. If DNA digivolved, you may play 2 NSp trait Digimon with different colours and a play cost of 7 or less from your hand without paying the cost. With DNA digivolved, we would be able to play 2 instead of 1, but this is up to you if this effect is important or not. The second effect works when digivolving or when attacking, once per turn, 1 of your opponent's Digimon loses 7k DP for each of your Digimon for the turn. So the more Digimon you have on the field, the easier to wipe your opponent's Digimon in one go. In fact you only need 3 Digimon on your field and you would constantly reduce your opponent's Digimon by 21k, which can take out any Digimon your opponents throw at us.

EX7 SaberLeomon is an Ace Digimon, but not only that, we also got NSp trait which means Tlalocmon can play this card from our hand since it is a 7 cost Digimon. You can digivolve on top of a Lv5 NSp trait or Lv5 Leomon in its name for 3. We have Blast Digimon and 2 effects. The first effect works on play or when digivolving, 2 of your opponent's suspended Digimon loses 8k DP until the end of your turn. If you use this during your opponent's turn, we could take out those Digimon if they didn't get deleted. The second effect works when digivolving or when attacking, once per turn, suspend 1 of your opponent's Digimon. Then, if your opponent has no suspended Digimon, unsuspend this Digimon. The best part about this effect is that we can use the second effect first before the first effect, so we can give 2 of your opponent's suspended Digimon -8k DP.

EX7 Eldradimon can be digivolve on top of a Lv5 NSp trait Digimon for 3 just like SaberLeomon. It has a Blocker ability with 2 effects. The first effect works on play or when digivolving, reveal the top 4 cards of your deck, you may play up to 7 cost in total worth of Digimon with NSp trait among them without paying the costs. Return the rest to the bottom of the deck. This could bring out SaberLeomon as SaberLeomon is a 7 cost Digimon, so we could DNA digivolve into Tlalocmon. The second effect works at the end of your turn, 2 of your Digimon may DNA digivolve into a NSp trait Digimon in your hand. You do not have to target this card as it doesn't mention anything about this Digimon, you can choose any as long as they NSp trait Digimon.

MegaGargomon Ace is not a NSp trait, but the colour requirements matches Tlalocmon's DNA digivolve requirement, as this can be DNA digivolve with either Eldradimon or SaberLeomon. We can ignore the digivolve requirement since we are not running Rapidmon, and just like SaberLeomon we have Blast Digivolve with 2 abilities Reboot and Blocker. Blocker can be risky considering that this card have Overflow. MegaGargomon comes with 2 effects, the first effect works when digivolving, suspend 2 of your opponent's Digimon or Tamers. Then, 2 of their Digimon or Tamers can't unsuspend or digivolve until the end of their turn. This is not bad at all as this can stop your opponents from doing what they want. The second effect works when digivolving or end of attack, once per turn, you may suspend this Digimon. Basically, we can unsuspend this up to 2 times as it can attack twice, then Reboot kicks in and we can use the Blocker ability during your opponent's turn.

The Ultimate

Now for the ultimate, all of them can digivolve on top a Lv4 NSp trait Digimon for 3 memory. EX7 ShogunGekomon has 2 effects, the first effect works on play. 1 of your opponent's Digimon or Tamers can't suspend until the end of their turn. This basically means they can't attack or use any of their effects which is nice to slow your opponent's down. The second effect only works during your turn, all of your NSp trait Digimon can't have the targets switched. This is very strong as it can stop Blockers ability from activating, assuming your opponents are running Blockers in their builds.

EX7 Triceramon only has 1 effect and that effect works on play or when digivolving, suspend 1 of your opponent's Digimon and that Digimon can't unsuspend until the end of their turn. This is another card that can stop your opponents from attacking, since the more the better. We do have an inherited effect which is when this Digimon deletes an opponent's Digimon in battle, trash the top card of your opponent's security stack. This means, we won't need to worry about attacking your opponents directly as we can reduce the number of your opponent's Digimon, so we don't need to take as much damage, whilst also trashing their security once per turn.

EX7 Jagamon works like ShogunGekomon where we have 2 effects. The first effect works on play, De-Digivolve 1 one of your opponent's Digimon. Its okay, but what I am after is the second effect that works during your opponent's turn. All of your NSp trait Digimon gains Blocker. Once we can get Jagamon to the field, we wouldn't need to worry about defences, and focus on setting up the big guys.

The Champions

The Champions I would rather hard play than the Ultimate, they do cost 4 to play, but it is still better than playing 7 cost Digimon giving your opponents plenty of memory. Most of them can be digivolve on top of a Lv3 NSp trait Digimon for 2 memory with the exception of Monochromon who can digivolve for 1 memory instead. EX7 Gekomon works on play or when digivolving, draw 1 card. The draw will be definitely useful since we need specific cards to make this deck pops off. The inherited effect is Jamming, and Jamming is very useful when you pair this up with the Ace Digimon, so we wouldn't need to worry about high DP security Digimon giving your opponents the memory.

EX7 Starmon works on play or when digivolving, 1 of your opponent's Digimon loses 3k DP for the turn. 3k DP will be handy as it will remove any of your opponent's rookies, or we make your opponent's Digimon easier to hit. The inherited effect is Barrier, Barrier will be useful with the Ace Digimon so you wouldn't need to worry about Overflow ability, plus we can keep our Digimon for DNA digivolving.

EX7 Monochromon is a vanilla with an inherited effect Piercing. If we combined this with Triceramon, we could actually deal 2 damage instead of 1 when we attack your opponent's Digimon. This is a win win situation. Whilst EX7 Tortomon is a Blocker with an effect that works during your opponent's turn. Your opponent's effects can't delete this Digimon. The inherited effect is Reboot and Reboot can be useful with Eldradimon who is a Blocker.

The Rookies

The 2 rookies of the deck, both have very basic ability and both can digivolve on top of a Lv2 NSp trait Digimon for 0. EX7 Otamamon has 1 effect which works all turns, players can't reduce play cost. This doesn't matter to us as we are not running any that reduces play cost. Whilst EX7 Gotsumon is just EX7 Tortomon but without a main effect. It is a Blocker with the inherited effect as being Reboot.

The Supports

Two more non NSp supports aside from MegaGargomon, but both cards will be useful to the build. Heaven's Judgement is very good in this build where we have a lot of different colours of Digimon, especially when they are on the field. You can also play this card ignoring the colour requirement if you have a green Digimon or Tamer in play. The main effect is activate the following effect, for each colour your Digimon have, activate it again, reduce 1 of your opponent's Digimon DP by 6k for the turn. So the more variety of colours you have, the more you can spam this effect, either wiping your opponent's board or taking out their big DP Digimon. The security effect is 1 of your opponent's Digimon loses 12k DP for the turn.

BT3 Davis is a memory setter with an on play effect. Reveal the top 3 cards of your deck, add 1 blue and 1 green Digimon among them to your hand. Place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order. As we are running a mix of blue and green, you can easily get 2 Digimon with this search effect if you are lucky. The security effect is play this card without paying the memory cost.
