There are a few cards you could add to Law using ST36 starter deck, but you also need the 5 cost SN cards so we could use Law's effect. I think it's all about finding the right balance for this deck, so we wouldn't ruin the Leader's effect, by ruining lack of 5 costs in the build.
ST36 Law |

Leader Character (48) Event (2) |
How it Works?
The one main card you need in your hand is OP10 Bege to set up the 5 cost in your Life area, once, you've got Bege, you can keep bouncing the card back with Law along as you've got Life cards to work with. You do lose a Life card when you use Law's effect, but in return, you can get beat stick on the field without using a lot of your DONs.
Prevention
4 of these cards will be able to stop your opponent's attacks, and 1 of them will be able to stop your opponent's effects from targeting your cards. OP15 Bonney is risky if you play her on the field as we will be losing Life cards on top of Law's effect. The effect is if your 7k base power or less Characters would be removed from your opponent's effects, you may add the top card of your Life area to your hand instead.
EB03 Bonney is 1 of the main 5 cost Characters we want to play on the field. The effect works on play, if your Leader is SN type, untap 1 DON. Then, 1 of your opponent's 8 cost or less Character cannot be rested until the end of your opponent's turn. Not only you can untap DONs, but you can also stop Characters from resting, so this can stop Blockers or from your opponent's attacks.
OP07 Bonney is still useful as EB03 Bonney can only target 8 cost or less Characters, whilst OP07 can give us more choices. The effect works on play, 1 of your opponent's rested Characters or DONs cannot untap in your opponent's next Refresh Phase. You can also choose your opponent's DONs to slow your opponent down from playing high cost Characters.
P067 Kid can be used as a 1 off as the effect is good, but not too important. The effect is if this Character is rested, your opponent cannot attack any other cards except Kid. You can also run ST36 Kid, but ST36 Kid is not a 5 drop, so you won't be able to play the card for free.
Lastly, I'll Go All Out is the only Event I am running as this card can stop your opponent's attacks. The main effect is you may rest 2 DONs, 2 of your opponent's rested 7 cost or less Characters will not become active during your opponent's next Refresh Phase. This will cost 3 altogether in order to stop 2 of your opponent's beat sticks. The counter effect is your Leader gains 3k power for the turn.
Untap
The untapping is still the same for this deck as EB01 Cavendish is another key card we want to have on the field. The effect works on play or when attacking, if your Leader is SN type and you have no other Cavendish on the field, you can untap 2 DONs. This will also help you set up the Leader's effect.
Personally, OP12 Bonney will need to be hard play rather than playing for free using the effect because of the requirements. But that is only if you don't have plenty of rested cards. The effect works on play, if you have 8 or more rested cards, draw 2 card and trash 1 card from your hand. Then, untap 1 DON.
Life Gain
All of our Life gain are very high costs, and only 1 of them can be search to our hand. EB04 Kizaru is a 5 drop which will make our Leader's effect active. The effect works on play, if you have 2 or less Life cards, add the top card of your deck to top of your Life area. The effect won't be very difficult to trigger, especially if you have been reducing your Life area for your Leader's effect.
OP10 Law is a beat stick we can use on the field. The effect works on play, reveal 1 SN Character and add it to top of your Life area face down. Then, attach 1 rested DON to your SN Leader. Being able to attach rested DON to your Leader will also help you set up your Leader's effect to play the card you put into your Life area.
I think OP16 Blackbeard works very well with Law build since Law needs 5 cost to work, and Blackbeard will allow us to place any cards we want to the Life area. The effect works on play, look at top 3 cards of your deck, add 1 card to top of your Life area. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order. The trigger effect is negate the effect of 1 of your opponent's Characters this turn. Then, KO 1 of your opponent's 5 cost or less Characters.
Searchers
This build can access a lot of searchers depending on the route you choose. I didn't run Perona because of the lack of Slash Characters in the build, so I just kept with SN searchers. OP10 Luffy is the main searcher we want to see in our opening hand unless you are going second. The effect works on play, look at the top 5 cards of your deck, reveal 1 SN card except Luffy and add it to your hand. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order.
ST02 Bonney comes with at a risk as you will need to pay an extra DON as well as resting this Character to use the effect. The effect is an activate main, by paying 1 DON and resting this Character, look at the top 5 cards of your deck, reveal 1 SN card and add it to your hand. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order.
ST24 Kid & Killer will be useful if you have 2 DONs to use. Kid & Killer has 2 effects, the first effect works on play, look at the top 5 cards of your deck, reveal 1 SN card and add it to your hand. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order. The second effect works during your opponent's attacks where you may trash this Character to untap 1 DON. I am not running a lot of Events, so you want to use this when you want to play your Events.
Supernovas Supports
The rest of the SN supports are simple. OP10 Bege will let us play the right 5 cost Characters from top of our Life area, rather than leaving all to luck. The effect works on play, you may add the top or bottom of your Life cards to your hand to add 1 SN Character from your hand to top of your Life area face up.
ST36 Apoo is the only card I've added to the build as I couldn't fit Bartolomeo in this build. Apoo only has a trigger effect, but the trigger effect will be very useful, especially when we are reducing our Life area. The trigger effect is draw 1 card and your SN Leader becomes 7k base power.
OP13 Law will let you play Characters for free as well as bouncing some of our low cost Characters to our hand. Law has 2 effects, the first effect works when you have 1 or less Life cards, this Character gains Blocker. Not difficult to do in this build. The second effect works on play, you may return 1 of your Characters to the hand to play one 5 cost or less Character from your hand at rest. Unfortunately, those cards we play will be at rest, so you need to make sure you don't care about keeping it on the field.
OP10 Kid is the only removal in this build, but the removal effect only targets your opponent's Life area and not their Characters. Kid has 2 effects, the first effect work on play, you may rest this Character to trash the top card of your opponent's Life area. The second effect works at the end of your turn, if your opponent has 2 or less Life cards, draw 1 card and trash 1 card.
