OP11 Purple/Yellow (Pudding) Deck Profile

The new Big Mom supports from OP11 set could also work with Pudding build as Pudding can use both purple and yellow Big Mom supports. Of course, we won't be returning as much DONs in this build as we will just focused on ramping to play our big drops as soon as possible.

OP11 Pudding

How it Works?

This is a simple build as the deck focus on kid Katakuri to play our high drop Katakuri depending on your opponent's DONs. If they play a ramp deck, then we can easily play our high cost pretty easily. You can easily run a build with Katakuri as long as they cost 3 or more to trigger our kid Katakuri's requirements. Although, I wouldn't do that as we need room for other cards to actually make this deck stands out. 10 drop Big Mom is our main beat stick of the deck and also the only Life gain card unless we use OP03 Katakuri to give us a Life gain as we as triggering some on play effects.

Ramp

Not many ramp cards in this build simply because we don't really return DON cards in this deck, so once you have 10 DONs, the ramp will become useless. EB01 Bon Clay can be used, but if you don't have that card then OP11 Brulee can be a good replacement as Brulee could also be searched out from the deck unlike Bon Clay. Bon Clay have 2 effects, the first effect works on play add 1 DON as active. The second effect works when attacking, select 1 of your opponent's Characters. This Character's base power becomes the same power as the selected Character during this turn.

OP08 Katakuri is a nice 7k beat stick to use once we've used his effect. The effect works on play, you may turn the top card of your Life face down to add 1 DON as active. We can only turn the top card face down, so you will need to make sure 1 of the face up cards will be added to your hand, so you don't have the awkward situation where you can't trigger Pudding's Leader effect since the face up card is below the face down card in your Life area.

OP11 Katakuri is the best addition to this build since we are mainly running BM Pirates for this build. Katakuri is a Blocker with an effect that works at the end of your turn, 2 of your 3 cost or more BM Pirates Characters becomes active. Then, add 1 DON as rest. The ramp effect is not important, but what is important is that we could attack with this Katakuri, then untap him with one of our BM Pirates Characters so we could have a Blocker on our next turn as well as protecting our Characters from attacks.

Removals

Before you say anything about Big Mom, she does have like a different type of removal effect rather than just Life Gain. Anyway, for removal, if we are only targeting Characters, then we've got Zeus and Katakuri. OP11 Zeus is the best addition to the build as we could take the top face up card to add to hand, so we only have 1 face up card left to flip face down using the 6 drop Katakuri. The effect works on play, you may add the top or bottom card of your Life area to your hand to KO 1 of your opponent's 5 cost or less Characters. Even if we don't play Zeus, the 2k counter could be useful for defence.

OP03 Katakuri can be used for both to gain Life cards or remove your opponent's Characters, but not entirely, slowing them down so they don't have a major beat stick on the field. The effect works on play, place one 8 cost or less Character to the top or bottom of the owner's Life face up. We could also reuse on play effects with this card by placing certain Characters to our Life area and waiting for your opponents to attack our Leader.

10 drop Big Mom is the only card with the Life Gain ability in this deck as the rest of the build is mainly playing our high cost Katakuri without spending all the DONs. The effect works on play, if your Leader is BM Pirates type, add the top card of your deck to top of your Life area. Then, trash the top card from your opponent's Life area. Not only we can gain Life cards, but we can also trash your opponent's Life cards making less attack needed to hit your opponent's Leader, or force them to use counters or Blockers a lot earlier than they've planned.

Defensive Supports

For the defensive supports, one of them only work using their trigger effect whilst the other will be playing the Character to the field. OP11 Anana has a little drawback for the effect which is if you have a purple BM Pirates Character other than Anana on the field, this Character gains Blocker. As you can see, I have mixed this build with yellow BM Pirates, so if you want to trigger Anana's Blocker ability, you will need to make sure to have a purple BM Pirates Character.

Bege is only for the trigger effect as he is just a 2k vanilla in hand we can use for defence. The trigger effect is 1 of your opponent's Leader or Characters cannot attack during this turn. On the bright side, if you are lucky enough, you could slow your opponent's attacks down.

Big Mom Pirates Supports

The BM Pirates supports are very simple, 2 of them are searchers both name Pudding, whilst the other play a key role for this build. OP11 Pudding is one of the new searcher where we get an on play effect and another effect. The on play effect is look at the top 5 cards of your deck, reveal one 2 cost or more BM Pirates card and add it to your hand. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order. This shouldn't be too much of a problem, except if you need Anana you will need to rely on your other Pudding searcher. The second effect is an activate main which is, by returning 1 DON and resting this Character. Look at the top card of your opponent's deck. Unfortunately, this effect doesn't do much for this build as we are not making use of your opponent's top cards.

OP03 Pudding is the main searcher as we could search for any BM Pirates card other than Pudding, and the best part is that this one doesn't have a cost requirements. The effect works on play, look at the top 4 cards of your deck, reveal 1 Sanji or Big Mom Pirates card other than Pudding and add it to your hand. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order.

Kid Katakuri is the main card of the deck and the only reason why I am running a lot of high cost Katakuri in the build. If you played against a ramp deck, making use of this effect is even better. The effect is an activate main effect. You may trash this Character, if your Leader is BM Pirates, play one 3 cost or more Katakuri that is equal or less than the number of DONs on your opponent's field. Thanks to this effect, we could easily play our 8 drop Katakuri for 2, saving up the DONs for other uses. Of course the more DONs they have the better for this effect.

Events

I am only running these 2 Events for the deck and nothing else. You could try other Events for different combinations, but I just decided to maximise the number of copies for these 2. Who Should Disappear is yellow 0 cost Event Counter. The counter effect is the same as any other colours. You may trash 1 card from your hand, 1 of your Leader or Characters gains 3k power this battle. The trigger effect is if you have 0 Life, you may add the top card of your deck to top of your Life. Then, trash 1 card from your hand.

Claim the One Piece is another 1 drop searcher, so in total you have 3 cards who can search for BM Pirates cards, so we can easily get specific card to our hand if we are lucky enough. The effect is if your Leader is AK Pirates or BM Pirates type, look at the top 5 cards of your deck, reveal 1 AK Pirates or BM Pirates card and add it to your hand. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order. The trigger effect is activate this card's main effect.
