The Lack of Ulforce Supports

 

I want to talk about this as people would experience this before. I get the feeling that Bandai hates Ulforce seeing how they only focus on Imperialdramon and maybe Armor Vee, but Imperialdramon got the most supports out of all the Veemon line. I know, we've recently got the Veedramon promo, but because it is a promo, that card is not cheap to get especially when you need 4 copies.

So the last time we've got proper Ulforce support was in BT11, I don't really want to say BT12 as we've only got UlforceX in that set. Now we are getting BT20 and still no Ulforce supports. This is important as we are getting Ace cards for the deck, and unfortunately we don't have any Ace card for Ulforce build. I would take any Ace card at this point as long as it is for Ulforce build. Imperialdramon got an Ace card, so why can't Ulforce get one too? Are they playing favouritism? Personally I don't know how many people like Imperialdramon over Ulforce but I feel like the game have been treating them very badly compare to the other.

I know Future Mode will never get release for this game because of copyright issues, but it still doesn't mean we can't get Ulforce supports like other decks. I guess this is the problem with the game, they release a new Digimon line, but you won't know when the next supports for them will be, especially EX Set. Lets hope it doesn't end up like the old VG where it took 2-3 years for certain clan to get updated, and once they've got new cards, those decks became fairly broken. That's how I feel about Digimon currently, although I haven't felt the same with One Piece, maybe because I have plenty of decks to play with or their last supports wasn't long ago.

Currently for Ulforce, I really need to be very creative with this build, and unlike YGO where we can use same engine for different builds, Digimon doesn't have this feature. It is not colour restricted, but I personally don't want to mix other colours outside Blue and Yellow for this build. The reason why I mentioned Yellow because we have Magnamon and GoldVeedramon we could use for Ulforce deck, and those cards have 2 colours, so it is possible to make Ulforce a 2 colour deck with some edits instead of going full mono blue build.

I don't really know how long I should wait for Ulforce to get support, or should I even consider this line dead by Bandai. You know like in YGO, Pendulum are pretty much dead by Konami, and most of the extra deck cards used in Pendulum build are banned. Well with Gundam Card Game also coming up, I don't even think I have the time for Digimon, but I can see Gundam Seed series might be the favourite to support out of all the Gundam series. Their mobile suits are fan favourite, so it is not surprising if the card game will do the same, and the other Gundam series might not get the same treatment. Although, the game is not released yet, so time will tell when they get released and give it a few sets to discuss.

I may have not noticed, but One Piece may have lack of supports for certain builds, then again with the upcoming sets, I feel those decks will get the supports soon, unless they decided to cramp it all in a starter deck again. Although unlike Digimon, the old decks can still fit 1 or 2 new cards from a new set, so I wouldn't call it lack of supports, unless they really don't work with the new cards.
