What I like about Corazon is that we finally got a decent upgrade path for this build and not just adding 1 or 2 new cards. It is no wonder how this Leader became competitive instead of a meme build. There are so many cards to choose from thanks to OP16 set, giving this build a drastic change, but it will be all about cramping the cards together.

How it Works?
As you noticed, I have mainly got rid of the high cost Law cards as we don't really need them in this build. We want to play our 1 cost searchers, then use Corazon's Leader effect to reduce our 4 cost Law in our hand for 2 and play them to the field. You will need to rely on the Navy supports as Corazon is a Navy type, which can also make use of Kizaru who is also a Navy and a Life gain at the same time.
Ramp
The ramp are pretty high costs for this build, but 2 of them can be reduced with our Leader's effect, so they could be played cheaper rather than looking at their full costs. P093 Law is the main promo we want for this deck as the effect works very well with out Leader. The effect works on play, if the number of DONs is equal or less than your opponents, add 1 DON and rest it. This is not difficult to do as you will be doing a lot of returning.
Corazon & Law is a card we can search with our Navy searchers because of the Navy type and we can also treated the card name either Corazon or Law which makes it very important for this build. The effect works on play, if the number of DONs is equal or less than your opponents, draw 1 card. Then, add 1 DON as active.
OP16 Akainu is our 7 cost beat stick considering the other 2 cards are Blockers, so we need something that can make your opponent use up their counters. kainu has 2 effects, the first effect works on play, by returning 1 DON, 1 of your opponent's Characters loses 6k power until the end of your opponent's turn. This effect is very strong as we can reduce 1 of your opponent's attacks, especially a high power Character. The second effect is an activate main, you may rest 1 DON, if your Leader is Navy type, add 2 of your DONs as active. The second effect will be very useful as we can constantly return DONs to use effects.
Life Gain
One thing that is a downgrade will be our Life gain cards as I am only running these 2 cards in the deck, but both of them can be searched out with our searchers which is very useful. EB04 Kizaru can be play quite early if you use your Leader's effect to protect 1 of your Law cards. The effect works on play, if you have 2 or less Life cards, add the top card of your deck to top of your Life area.
Kizaru will be the main Life gain card we want to play whilst EB03 Law is optional to run in the deck, because of the cost. Even if we use our Leader's effect, Law will still cost 6 to play which is not cheap at all compare to our 4 drop Law. Law does have Rush which is useful for attacking with an activate main which is you may trash 1 card from your hand and this Character to add the top card of your deck to top of your Life area. Then, play one 7 cost or less Law from your hand.
Searchers
You do have access to a lot of searchers for this build, so you will have plenty of options for 1 drop, especially when you want to return 1 DON with your Leader's effect. OP16 Koby is our main searcher for Navy cards and since Corazon is also Navy type, we can use Koby to search for Corazon to search for Law cards if needed. The effect works on play, look at top 5 cards of your deck, reveal 1 Navy card except Koby and add it to your hand. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order.
OP12 Corazon will be an important searcher, but our other searchers can search Corazon easily which is why I am not running 4 in the build, but you can if you want more consistency in searching for Law cards. The effect works on play, look at the top 5 cards of your deck, reveal 1 Law and add it to your hand. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order.
OP16 Tsuru is a card I do not really want to see in the opening hand as this searcher comes at a cost and not just to pay 1 DON. The effect works on play, look at top 5 cards of your deck, reveal 1 Navy card, add it to your hand and, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order. Then, trash 1 card from your hand. You will need to discard cards, and if you need your hand, then you won't be playing Tsuru for a while.
Although one discard fodder can be Marineford as this is only a Stage card, so if we have multiple copies in hand, they would be useless if we don't play Marineford to the field. Marineford has 2 effects, the first effect works on play, look at top 5 cards of your deck, reveal 1 Navy card and add it to your hand. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order. This is the main effect I am after, but the second effect can be useful for triggering some card's effects. The second effect is an activate main, by returning 1 DON, you may rest this Stage to draw 1 card and discard 1 card from your hand. The returning DON would be useful if you need to reduce the amount of DONs you have on the field.
The Supports
We have Drake and Law as the other Characters. Law for the obvious reason as we can play those cards cheaply with the Leader's effect. OP10 X Drake is mainly for the 2k counter, but being a Navy type means we could add this card this card to hand with our searchers. The effect is an activate main, you may rest this Character, if your Life cards is less than your opponent's Life area, rest 1 of your opponent's 4 cost or less Characters. 4 cost is not much these days, but can target certain cards.
P088 Law is also mainly for the 2k counter, and we can't even use the trigger effect as we are not using certain type of Leader. But if you need a beat stick, then, we can play this Law for 2.
ST10 Law will be 1 of the main cards we can play and we have a Blocker ability to stop your opponent's attacks. The effect works on play, by returning 1 DON, if your opponent has 7 or more cards in their hand, trash 2 cards from your opponent's hand. You will be returning 2 DONs if you want to use your Leader's effect to play ST10 Law for 2 and use Law's effect at the same time.
Events
Not only the deck has changed because of the OP16 set, the Events have also changed to make use of some of the OP16 cards. Mamaragan is a card that can reduce our DON cards if we need to. The main effect is by returning 2 DONs, draw 1 card. Then, rest 1 of your opponent's 5k power or less Characters. The counter effect is your Leader or 1 of your Characters gains 1k power for the battle. Then, if you have 6 or less DONs, draw 1 card. This shouldn't be difficult to do and if you have Akainu on the field, you can easily recover the DONs you have lost.
I Love You is a Navy Event we can add to hand, and this can be very useful if we want to play Law from the trash. The counter effect is your Leader or 1 of your Characters gains 2k power for the battle. Then, if you have 2 or less Life cards, add 1 Law from your trash to your hand. 2 or less is not difficult to pull off especially when we have our Leader's effect who can reduce our Life area.
Lightning is a removal that works very well with Akainu's on play effect, plus you also have Akainu's second effect to get 2 active DONs to play Lightning from hand. The main effect is by returning 2 DONs, KO 1 of your opponent's 6k power or less Characters. 6k power or less is not difficult to do and if you got Akainu's on play effect active, then, you could target high cost Characters. The trigger effect is add 1 DON as active.
Beam Sword is a back up option as Akainu can give you 2 active DONs to use and this card can slow your opponent's attacks down. The counter effect is by returning 1 DON, your Leader or 1 of your Characters gains 2k power for the battle. Then, rest 1 of your opponent's Characters. You can rest any Characters you want, so we don't have to worry about high power Characters for that turn, unless they have multiple high power on the field. The trigger effect is add 1 DON as active.
