OP15 Blue/Yellow (Ace) Deck Profile

We have a bit of supports from OP15 set for ST13 Ace. The deck will be similar to ST13 Luffy but with Ace, we can use the new Life gain cards for this build unlike Luffy. That is the only difference between these 2 decks, and it does depends on which Leader you prefer using.

OP15 Ace

How it Works?

Ace is very handy as this card can add 5 drop Characters to the Life area, and when it comes to adding cards to the Life area, you could play cards like Zeus and Flampe to add those cards to hand. You do not have to focus on Luffy and Ace in this build, so 5 cost Characters like Kizaru and Nami also works.

You would only need to focus on Luffy and Ace if you see your kids cards which can play their adult form for free, and powering up the Leader which can give you a major advantage for attacking and defending. Otherwise, you can focus on cards like getting some 5 cost cards to your hand, so we can play those cards on our next turn.

Free Play

I don't think I have the room to fit Sabo which is why I've only kept Ace and Luffy. Of course, it does means the chances of powering up the Leader will be low. All 2 these cards have similar effect and they have an activate main effect. You can trash them to reveal the top Life card, Ace will play 5 cost Ace and Luffy will play 5 cost Luffy.

PRB02 Ace will need to be hard play in order to use the effect unlike the other cards. The effect works on play, if you have a face up Life card, play one 2 cost Sabo, Ace or Luffy from your hand or trash. You need a face up Life card which Ace can only add one to the Life area, so you really don't want to play this card with kid Ace's effect or we won't be able to trigger the effect.

The Life

I am not running many Life gain cards because Ace Leader is our extra Life gain card if we can hit the right cards. Technically, we do lose the face up card at the end of the turn, which is why we need ways to add that card to our hand. Although, OP06 Hiyori can make that Life card into face down, so we don't have to lose the Life card, plus, you can also set up the kids effects. The effect works on play, add the top or bottom card from your Life area to your hand. Add 1 card from your hand to the top of your Life area.

EB04 Kizaru is a 5 drop, so we can use Ace Leader's effect to put this into our Life area, and would need to have cards like Flampe, Zeus or Hiyori to add the card to our hand. Kizaru is also a 6k Blocker which can stop your opponent's attacks. The effect works on play, if you have 2 or less Life cards, add the top card of your deck to top of your Life area.

Draw

As for the draw power, we've got these 2 cards. EB01 Flampe is very useful especially if we are putting face up cards to the Life area, as this card can add that card to the hand without losing the card at the end of your turn. The effect works on play, you may add the top or bottom card of your deck to your hand to draw a card.

OP07 Ace is a nice hand filter, but can also set up Ace Leader's effect by putting some 5 drops to the top of the deck. Ace is also a Blocker, so we can use this card to block your opponent's attacks. The effect works on play, draw 2 cards and place 2 cards from your hand to the top or bottom of your deck.

Removals

As for the removal, we do have decent amount, but I did not max any of these cards due to lack of room to try and cramp everything in one deck. OP11 Zeus is another card that can let you add face up card to your hand, but of course, it would also be better if we can KO your opponent's beat stick when we use this effect. The effect works on play, you may add the top or bottom of your Life cards to your hand to KO 1 of your opponent's 5 cost or less Characters.

OP07 Luffy is to go with our kid Luffy where we can play him for free if we can get this card to the Life area. The main effect is an activate main, you may trash this Character, if your Life cards is 2 or less, KO 1 of your opponent's 4 cost or less Characters, then, draw 1 card. You would want to attack with this card first before using the effect, unless you really need the draw and KO effect. The trigger effect is KO 1 of your opponent's 4 cost or less Characters, this is similar to the main effect but without the draw power.

EB03 Nami is another 5 drop we can add, and to be honest, this can be replaced with other cards if you don't like Nami or can't afford this card. But it would be better to replace with another 5 drop card, so we can increase the chances of hitting them to the Life area. Nami has 2 effects, the first effect works on play, attach 1 rested DON to your Leader. Then, if your opponent has 3 or more Life cards, add the top card of your opponent's Life area to their hand. We would need another DON to trigger the Leader's effect, but at least we can reduce your opponent's Life area. The second effect works on KO, you may turn the top card from your Life area face up to play one 6k power or less Character from your hand. Of course, if you can't add that face up Life card to your hand, it will be trashed at the end of your turn, so you will need to make sure you have the cards when you use this effect.

Rush

The Rush cards is the same as my ST13 Luffy build and the reason why I am using these cards to make the deck aggressive. OP15 Luffy being a 5 drop really help and the only reason why this deck was made. I don't know if I would update this deck with just EB04 Kizaru as the only new card, maybe I will. Anyway, Luffy has 2 effects, the first effect is if you have 6 or more DONs, this Character gains Rush. The second effect works when your opponents activate an Event or Blocker, reveal the top card of your Life area, this Character gains 1k power for the turn per cost revealed on that card. As long as we can maintain Life cards, you can easily make Luffy a nice beat stick.

ST13 Ace only works when we have low health, so it is not as good as OP15 Luffy, but can be useful, if we need additional extra attacks. The effect works on play, if you have 2 or less Life cards, this Character gains Rush. I don't think 2 or less Life cards will be difficult to do as we also have Flampe and Zeus in the build.

Searchers

The 2 searchers of the deck to search the right cards, especially getting the kids to our hand, so you can power up the Leader with ease. ST13 Garp works on play, look at the top 5 cards of your deck, reveal one 5 cost or less Sabo, Ace or Luffy and add it to your hand. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order.

3 Brothers Bond is pretty much an Event version of ST13 Garp, and the effect is look at the top 5 cards of your deck, reveal one 5 cost or less Sabo, Ace or Luffy and add it to your hand. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order. The trigger effect is activate this card's main effect.
