Looks like DCG got a new producer, and lets hope, he can keep the game going. I don't want to say, I hate the game because of power creep, and unfortunately, it's been a common theme with Bandai card games. One Piece feels like it's going to this direction compare to when you first play the game, and that is if you were there when OPCG got released.
As there are no showcase of the decks, you can tell that we will have plenty of new info about DCG, which is what I like, so I can keep the post longer, instead of posting a short post of the game.
Ignition of X is a set coming out around December. I think it was either BT09 or BT10, since we got a proper X Antibody theme set, but it could be later like BT13. I think it's about time we've got some more X Antibody in the game, as the current X Antibody supports need upgrading if we want to keep up with the latest meta. I do like X Antibody decks as I like digivolving for free and drawing plenty of cards with Cool Boy.
This is good to know, so I am guessing, we are getting new Ulforce X since new Ulforce is announced in EX13 which is Chivalrous XIII cards like the set number. I am looking forward to BT27 even more to polish of Ulforce build. Ulforce is my no.1 priority over other decks, and I don't care if it's not a meta deck, just as long I can get new supports for the build, I'll be happy and not a promo support.
My favourite illustration is definitely CraniaX out of these 4 and I can't wait to see what the AA artwork would look like and can it top the current art we've got revealed.
Looks like EX14 will focused on 7GDL, and it felt a long time since I last saw 7GDL support. I will be looking forward to see what this set will have in store for us.
2026 doesn't really help, but considering most JP games I've played are release around autumn/winter seasons, I am assuming, it will be around those time. It won't be in Summer or else, they've would already announced the date for Alysion. I am looking forward to this as its a mobile simulator we could play, but would be better if it was on PC/Consoles so it doesn't drain as much battery.
Not surprising, we will get physical cards relating to Alysion just like Liberators and Time Strangers. So if you do have a favourite Digimon in Alysion, you could aim to get that deck.
I don't know about the new Digimon, looks too basic as a design compare to the other illustrations for BT27 and EX14. But this is just my personal opinion.
It's nice to have Dual cards in starter decks, but at the same time, they might be not as great as the dual cards from booster sets. Who knows? But, we will see when the time is near for the starter decks to get released.
