The 1 new card from PRB02 might help BB deck, but then again, we will mainly focused on the old supports for BB. Most of the old cards are pretty good for this deck, there was no reason to take them out. The only exception is to reduce the number of cards so we could cramp everything into the build. Of course, we won't be relying heavily on Events this time as we've got more Characters for the build.

Leader Character (36) Event (10) Stage (4) |
How it Works?
More removal for this build thanks to ST27 BB which also means we do need more cost reducers, so we could constantly use ST27 BB's effect. However, the style of the deck is still the same as last time where we need to build up the trash so we can trigger cards like Burgess or Tempest Kick. PRB02 Shiryu do provide more defence, especially useful when we are burning our hand when triggering BB's Leader effect.
Speaking of BB's Leader effect, you should figured by now, it will all about the timing of activating the Leader's effect. If you activate the effect very early in the game, you won't survive during the long game. But if you activate BB Leader at the right time, we could punish your opponents from playing their on play effects, and would need to focus on other effects like activate main or when attacking effects.
Cost Reducers
I don't know about you, but I think if you could run Laboon in the build, then, we will have enough cost reducers. Then again, you don't want too many activate main cost reducers as it will reducer the number of attacks you can do since we are limited to 5 Characters, so 3 is a decent number, 2 of these cards can be searched out from deck. Stronger works by trashing 1 card in your hand and trashing this Character, if your Leader is BB Pirates, draw 1 card. Then, reduce 1 of your opponent's Characters cost by 2 for the turn.
Van Augur on the other hand can be our constant cost reducer as long as he stays on the field unlike Stronger. Augur has 2 effects, the first effect is you may rest this Character, if your Leader is BB Pirates type, reduce 1 of your opponent's Characters cost by 3 for the turn. 3 would be enough since our removals doesn't target really low costs like other builds. The second effect works on KO, draw a card, giving us the draw power to use BB's Leader effect.
Tempest Kick works the best if you have at least 10 in trash, otherwise, you will only get the draw power. I do think getting 10 cards in trash is not difficult to do for this build. The main effect is draw 1 card, if you have 10 or more cards in your trash, reduce 1 of your opponent's Characters cost by 3 for the turn. The trigger effect is KO 1 of your opponent's 3 cost or less Characters. I am not sure about the trigger effect, but only if you need to use this to stop your opponent's attacks or Blockers.
Removals
The removal cards have been shrunk down to 3 only, and 2 of them can be used constantly as long as they stay on the field. Doc Q has 2 effects, the first works by resting this Character, if your Leader is BB Pirates, KO 1 of your opponent's 1 cost or less Characters. The second effect works on KO, you draw a card which is the exact same effect as Van Augur.
ST27 BB does cost you 7 to play, but the effect will depends if you can get your cost reducers as we have an 8k beat stick we could swing against your opponents. BB has 2 effects, the first effect works by resting this Character, KO 1 of your opponent's 3 cost or less Characters. 3 cost or less is not difficult to do compare to Doc Q, so we could use our cost reducers to target higher cost Characters. The second effect works on KO, add 1 black card from your trash to your hand. This can be any card as long as it is black, and for this deck who is a mono coloured deck, we will have plenty of options to choose from.
PRB02 Shiryu is very similar to Lucky Roux for Shanks deck. Both cards are Blocker with an on KO effect that can KO your opponent's Characters. However, for Shiryu to gain Blocker, our Leader needs to be BB Pirates type as well as gaining +4 cost, so resting and removals that targets specific cost will be more difficult to target this card. The on KO effect is KO 1 of your opponent's base 4 cost or less Characters. Unfortunately, this won't work with any cost reducers since we need to target base cost instead of just cost.
Searchers
The searchers are the same since we need to get the right cards in our hand to make the deck pop off. Laffite works by paying 1 DON and resting this Character to look at top 5 cards of your deck, reveal 1 BB Pirates card and add it to your hand. Place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order.
My Era Begins is different from Laffite instead of looking at top 5 cards, we can only look at top 3. Look at top 3 cards of your deck, reveal 1 BB Pirates card other than My Era Begins and add it to your hand. Then, trash the rest. Now this is one of the searcher like Brannew where we can build up the trash. The trigger effect is activate this card's main effect.
Fullalead is a nice hand filter card, we don't gain card with this Stage, but we also don't lose cards. The effect is you may trash 1 card from your hand and rest this stage, look at top 3 cards of your deck, reveal 1 BB Pirates card and add it to your hand. Place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order. We look at the same amount of card just like My Era Begins, but as this is a Stage card, we can use this effect once per turn.
Negating Effects
Of course, our Leader is not the only card with the ability to negate effects as we also got these 2 cards. They will definitely helpful at negating non on play effects, since this is the only way to get around this deck if you want to use effects. OP09 BB will cost you entire DONs to play, but we do have a 12k Blocker which can stop a lot of attacks. The effect is if your Leader is BB Pirates type and this Character was played on this turn, negate the effect of 1 of your opponent's Leader during this turn. Then, negate the effect of 1 of your opponent's Characters and that Character cannot attack until the end of their turn.
Black Vortex is a 2 drop counter, so you will need to leave 2 DONs open if you want to use the effect. The effect is negate the effect of your opponent's Leader or 1 of their Characters and reduce that card's power by 4k during this turn. 4k is a lot of power, plus we the ability to negate the effect we can slow your opponents down. The trigger effect is the same as the counter effect but without the power reduction, negate the effect of your opponent's Leader or 1 of their Characters.
Free Play
Ironically, both of these cards are Kuzan with the ability to play Characters for free from your trash. Now, I don't know if they did this on purpose, but at least being BB Pirates means we can search them from the deck. OP10 Kuzan has 2 effects, the first effect is a continuous effect where this Character cannot be removed by your opponent's effects. The second effect is an activate main, you may trash this Character to draw 1 card. Then, play one 5 cost or less BB Pirates Character other than Kuzan from your trash. What we can do is attack with Kuzan first, then use his effect to bring back another Character, unless you desperately need that Character on the field as soon as possible.
ST27 Kuzan is a Blocker with an on KO effect, play one 5 cost or less BB Pirates Character from your trash rested. Unfortunately, that Character card will become rested, so the timing of using the Blocker ability will be important, or else that rested Character will get attacked, and we don't want to use counters to protect that rested Character reducing our hand size even more. Of course, we can also play OP10 Kuzan since we are not name restricted, and 5 drop Kuzan could play another Character from the trash after he attacked.
The Supports
The supports are very simple, mostly the same as last time. OP11 Caribou is mainly for the 1 drop Blocker and 2k counter since BB Leader negates on play effect, so we don't need to worry about Caribou on play's effect and making this card a plus for this deck. The more Blockers we can get on the field, the less cards we need to use from our hand to stop your opponent's attacks.
OP09 Burgess works the best during mid to late game where we can build up enough cards in our trash area. However, this card is not very good if we managed to draw him during the early turns. The effect is this Character can't be KO'd by your opponent's effects. If your Leader is BB Pirates type, this Character gains 1k for every 4 cards in your trash. Thanks to being a continuous effect, your opponents will need higher power Characters to take out Burgess, especially if we are constantly building up the trash.
