GCG Link Station EP 16 - ST06 Unboxing with GD02 reveals

 

I can assure you, there's not a lot of card reveals even though this video is 50 mins long. It is not like the One Piece channel where we focused on card reveals. In this video, we got a ST06 unboxing as well as using the deck to play against ST01 deck. This is why the video is long, because of the game they had with the starter decks, and I guess at this stage ST01 deck can still put up a fight, but it doesn't seems to me like GCG is changing too quickly.

Cards

I guess this is going into the Zeon build for more burn damage, not as in dealing damage to your opponents, but your opponent's Units instead. What's more is that effect is more permanent as we only need to pair this with Neo Zeon Pilot. Although, I don't know how many Neo Zeon Pilot are out there, there could be 1 or 2 which may not be a lot currently. We also got Suppression when we Pilot Link, so it is not bad.

Obviously, we've got Qubeley's Pilot, Haman. Haman's effect pair very well with Qubeley and Qubeley being a Lv7 Unit which makes you target a lot of Units and being able to damage into those Units before our Units get destroyed. Although, the effect is a when paired effect unlike Qubeley who works when attacking, so we would be relying on other free damage cards to help the deck.

Looks like we have the full set here as we've got Qubeley's Funnels. Just like the name and the Funnels, it is really an all out attack with the only exception is paired units. Of course, with a powerful Command card, the burst effect won't be add this card to your hand, as that would be too OP, especially for future supports. I would rather see this card in my hand rather than the Shield area.

Teaching App Updates

Unlike other TCG tutorial apps, GCG will have constant updates, so you can try out the new cards even if you can't play the game at your locals. Although, I do wish they would make a simulator instead similar to Master Duel or MTG Arena.

Events

As you know, GD02 is releasing at the end of the month which also means we would get pre release for the game, and if you win, you could get these promos. You could sell them or add them to your collection, or trade them away for other promo cards.
