BT22 Blue (Ulforce) Deck Profile

Its a shame we won't get Future Mode in this game because of copyright issues, but at least they finally supported Ulforce. I am quite happy with the new supports, they can really changed this build dramatical. But of course, there is the same weakness and that is that it's very bad again Rush or decks that can constantly delete your Digimon, since we have to rely on Ulforce for the entire deck to work. There isn't a back up plan where we can make use of this deck even if Ulforce is removed.

BT22 Ulforce

How it Works?

The problem I find with this deck is the amount of spaces we have used up. Most of the important cards are 4 of, so you can't reduce them to fit other cards, or else we would lose that consistency. The 2 of aren't major important but would be useful in the deck. I have been playing with the Tamers line up, I think running 8 will be too less for this kind of build, but running 10 will be hard as I have to reduce 1 of the important cards, which is why I have kept it at 9. You will be able to search Tamers with this deck, so this shouldn't be hard to do so we can trigger BT11 Ulforce.

BT11 Ulforce is still the main card of the deck as BT11 can do unlimited unsuspend, constantly wiping your opponent's board or their security. Plus with the help of BT22 AeroV, we have 1 more unsuspending for free without the need to play a Tamer on the field. We can still bounce your opponent's Digimon, so we don't have to attack into your opponent's Digimon, however, we can't bounce every Digimon they have on the field, so we have to attack into those suspended Digimon to reduce your opponent's board.

Ulforce

Although, we got new Ulforce in this build, BT11 Ulforce is still the main card of the deck. The others are just support of the deck. The effect is split into 3 different sections. The first effect works when digivolving, you may play 1 blue Tamer from your hand without paying the cost. The second effect is when you play a blue Tamer, unsuspend this Digimon. The third and final effect is when this Digimon becomes unsuspended, return 1 of your opponent's Lv3 or less to its owner's hand. For every blue Tamer you have in play, add 1 to the maximum level of this Digimon you can with this effect. What I like about this Ulforce is that all 3 of the effects works with each other, so it will not be difficult to trigger one of them.

UlforceX is mainly a finisher in order to provide that additional attack, but we also get to return your opponent's Digimon. UlforceX can be digivolve on top of Ulforce for 1 memory, then we have 2 different effects. The first effect works when digivolving, unsuspend this Digimon or 1 of your blue Tamers. The second effect works all turn, when this Digimon becomes unsuspended, if you have a blue Tamer in play or this Digimon has Ulforce in the digi source, return 1 of your opponent's Digimon with the lowest level to its owner's hand. BT11 Ulforce can bounce the high level whilst UlforceX can focus on bouncing your opponent's lower level Digimon.

We also have Ulforce Ace, I will take it since we don't have any Ace Digimon for the Ulforce line. Not as good as BT11 version, but still has a strong effect. The effect works on play or when digivolving, activate 1 of the following effect, either return 1 of your opponent's lower Digimon to the bottom of the deck, or play one 4 cost or less blue Tamer from your hand without paying the cost. Either of these effect will be useful depending on what you need. The second effect works when attacking, once per turn, this Digimon may unsuspend. Since this says may, you don't have to unsuspend, but this is an Ace Digimon, which means if this card gets deleted, that Overflow will be very handy for your opponents.

AeroVeedramon

Only 2 AeroVee will be needed for this deck, you can run ST8 version of AeroVee if you want to be more aggressive, but reducing these numbers might hurt the deck more. BT11 AeroVee has a main effect where you suspend this Digimon to reveal the top 3 cards of your deck. Add all blue Tamer among them to your hand. Place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order. The Tamers are very important, so if we can search them out that would be even better, then we can digivolve on top with BT11 Ulforce to unsuspend the Digimon, triggering certain effects and so on. The inherited effect works when attacking, once per turn, activate 1 of your Rina's on play effect. We are running plenty of Rina in the build, so this shouldn't be hard to trigger.

BT22 AeroVee is the main one I prefer over BT11 since BT11 only search for Tamers, whilst BT22 has some nice main effect we could use. The first effect works on play or when digivolving, return 1 of your opponent's Lv4 or less Digimon to the bottom of the deck. This would help to stop any memory blockers that could affect this build. The second effect works at the end of your turn, 1 of your blue Digimon or Tamers may unsuspend. This effect is very useful as we could set up Blocker with BT11 Rina instead of sacrificing an attack during your opponent's turn. The inherited effect works all turn, when this Digimon with Veedramon suspends, if you have a blue Tamer, this Digimon may unsuspend. Just like the second ability, we could set up Blocker or do an extra attack if we need to. This is why I prefer BT22 version over BT11.

Veedramon

As for the Veedramon, I went with the simple line up. BT11 Veedra's main effect is only useful if we play a Tamer which we want to digivolve to Ulforce as soon as possible. The main effect is, if you play a blue Tamer, draw 1 card. The extra draw would help if you've got no other Lv5 to digivolve on top, otherwise we will be aiming for the inherited effect. The inherited effect is when you play a blue Tamer to gain 1 memory. The extra memory will definitely help to play other cards, especially extra Tamers.

BT22 Veedra would be the main card as we could play any Tamers in this deck for free. The effect works when digivolving, if you have 1 or less Tamer, play 1 Tamer with Veedramon in the text without paying the cost. This would help to set up any early effects with our Tamers, so we don't need to worry about extra costs. The inherited effect is important as we could protect our Digimon from being removed from the field. The effect works all turn, when this Digimon with Veedramon in its name would leave the battle area from your opponent's effects, by suspending this Digimon, it doesn't leave. Basically, it is like another Evade keyword, but better as this would work against returning effects rather than just KO.

For me, promo Veedra is a must have in the deck, but if you can't find this card, we do have other replacement like bumping BT11 Veedra to 4 and running 2 ST8 Veedra to fill in the space. Not as effective when it comes to getting the Tamers, as we really need all the Tamers searcher we can get. The main effect works on play or when digivolving, reveal the top 3 cards of your deck, add 1 Digimon with Veedramon in its name and 1 blue Tamer card among them to the hand. Place the rest at the bottom of your deck. The inherited effect is when this Digimon becomes unsuspended, gain 1 memory. The inherited effect is also a lot easier to trigger than BT11 Veedra as we will be unsuspending more than playing Tamers from our hand.

Veemon

The Veemon as some obvious choices, but will also depends on your personal preference. BT11 Veemon is a must have in the deck because of this card being a searcher. The effect works on play, reveal the top 3 cards of your deck, add 1 Digimon with Veedramon in its name and 1 blue Tamer among them to your hand. Place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order. This is basically the same as promo Veedra. The inherited effect is the same as BT11 Veedra, when you play a blue Tamer to gain 1 memory. So we can constantly gain memory to play more cards.

BT22 Veemon is also quite useful for the build as the main effect lets you reduce the evolution cost. The effect is when this Digimon would digivolve into Veedramon in its name, reduce the digivolve cost by 1, making Veedramon only cost 1 to digivolve. The inherited effect is the exact same as BT22 Veedra where when this Digimon with Veedramon in its name would leave the battle area from your opponent's effects, by suspending this Digimon, it doesn't leave, giving you like a double protection combined with BT22 AeroVee's inherited.

Lastly ST8 Veemon is optional and you could replace this with EX1 Veemon if needed. ST8 Veemon can cheat out Ulforce which is what we mainly need to make the entire deck work. If your opponent has a Lv6 or higher Digimon. If your opponent has a Lv6 or higher Digimon, this Digimon can digivolve into Ulforce from your hand ignoring the digi cost for 4 memory. We would be sacrificing our inherited effect, but we will be able to use our Tamer's effect on the Ulforce cards. The inherited effect works when attacking, if you have 7 or less cards in your hand, draw 1 card. This is not once per turn, so as long as you have low hand size, you could keep drawing cards until you have 8 cards in hand.

Options

The option cards are simple, they are mainly focused on reducing the evolution costs so we can digivolve our way up to Ulforce with ease. Blue Scramble is very useful, I rather use this card over Blue Memory Boost since we want rookies on the field. The main effect is 1 of your blue Digimon may digivolve into a Blue Digimon from your hand with the reduced digivolution cost by 3. Then, place this card in your battle area. The second effect has a Delay effect but works at the start of your turn. If your opponent has a Digimon, return 1 blue Digimon from your trash to the top of your deck, then if you don't have a Digimon in play, you may play 1 blue Digimon with 3k DP or less from your trash without paying the cost. As you know, we need to rely on Ulforce, and there are plenty of decks who can get rid of Ulforce to stop the combo, making the full use of this effect. The security effect is pretty much the same as the delay effect. You may play 1 blue Digimon with 3k DP or less from your trash without paying the cost. Then, add this card to the hand.

Mental Training is a must because of the search effect letting you get the cards you need, but also the Delay effect for this deck. The main effect is reveal the top 2 cards of your deck, add 1 blue card among them to your hand. Place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order. Then, place this card in your battle area. The second effect is a delay effect, 1 of your Digimon may digivolve into a blue Digimon from your hand with the digi cost reduced by 2. This is so we could digivolve into Ulforce as soon as possible with minimal memory needed. The security effect is place this card in the battle area.

Tamers

The Tamer line up is very simple, all of these can be play using BT22 Veedra's effect, so we don't have to hard play these cards. However, BT11 Rina is still needed as she's the main Tamer to protect our Digimon. Rina has 3 different effects. The first effect works on play, 1 of your Digimon with Veemon or Veedramon in its name gains Blocker and Evade. Blocker and Evade is what makes Ulforce really strong. The second effect works all turns, when 1 of your Digimon with Veedramon in its name becomes suspended, by suspending this Tamer, activate 1 of that Digimon's when digivolving effects. It is thanks to this effect, BT11 Ulforce could unsuspend multiple times in a turn whilst playing a new Tamer. The last effect works on your turn, when 1 of your blue Digimon becomes unsuspended, gain 1 memory. Another memory ramp, so we could do more plays in a turn. The security effect is play this card without paying the cost.

BT22 Rina is also another useful Tamer to have other than just memory setter. But I wouldn't run her as 4, I think 3 is enough for the build, especially with the searchers to search this Tamer out from the deck. We know BT22 version is a memory setter, but we also have 2 other effects. The first effect works on play, 1 of your Veedramon in its name gains 3k DP until the end of your opponent's turn. The 3k DP bonus can be very handy for this build, depending on how you look at this. The second effect works when 1 of your Veedramon in its name attacks, by returning this Tamer, that Digimon gains Jamming. Thanks to this effect, we do not need to use the Jellymon engine who takes up a lot of spaces in this deck, as we can focus solely on Ulforce support. The security effect is play this card without paying the cost.

V Tamer is up to you if you run this card or not. I am running him, since he only cost 2 to play, meaning we could unsuspend BT11 Ulforce for an extra attack. I barely use the effect unless I am looking for specific cards. The main effect gives you 2 choices. If you have a Digimon with Veedramon in its name, by suspending this Tamer, activate 1 of the following effect, either draw 1 card or 1 of your Digimon gains 1k DP for the turn. The power bonus will not matter if you can get BT22 Rina to the field, so we will only focus on the draw power. The security effect is play this card without paying the cost.
