OP11 Green (Hody) Deck Profile

As you know OP11 mainly focused on Fishman support for the green decks, and there are not much Fishman Leaders available to upgrade. For Hody, we will sacrifice our Leader attack in order to prevent us from losing Life cards with our card effects. Also we won't need to worry about rotating this build as OP06 stuff are from Block 2 set, so we would have plenty of time to use this build.

OP11 Hody

How it Works?

This time around, I've kept the build simple, I didn't want to overdo it as I wanted power for this build. The more power you can hit the better as we will be losing 1 of the attacks to help prevent from losing Life cards. The new Jinbe will work really well with this build as we have plenty of rest effects to attack into those rested Characters, preventing your opponents to maintain a board as we don't have much removal in this build to stop your opponent's Characters.

Officers

As for the Officers they have have 1 effect that is the same which is adding a Life card to your hand after using their effect. This is why we need to use Hody's Leader effect, before triggering any of these cards. Zeo is mainly for the 2k counter rather than the effect, but can act as an additional beat stick for the deck. You will need to attach a DON for the effect to work. The effect works when attacking, if your Leader is NFM Pirates, untap 1 of your DON and this Character gains 1k power for the turn. We could make Zeo a 5k beat stick with a potential of untapping 1 DON to use.

Dosun is one of the best card for this deck as the power bonus is more constant rather than 1 turn only. The effect works when attacking, if your Leader is NFM Pirates, this Character cannot be KO'd by battle and gains 2k power until the start of your next turn. Meaning, we can have a 3 drop 6k beat stick to swing, and your opponents will not be able to attack into Dosun as he can't be KO'd in battle, only can be removed by effects.

Hyouzo is different than the other 2 Officers as the effect is an activate main effect. Rest 1 of your opponent's 4 cost or less Characters and this Character gains 1k power for the turn, making Hyouzo a 7k beat stick to swing. The rest will be handy as we are running the new Jinbe in the deck who can make the full use of rest effects.

Lastly I am running Ikaros who can play the other 3 Officers for free. The effect works on play, if your Leader is NFM Pirates, play one 4 cost or less Fishman Character from your hand. This shouldn't be difficult to trigger as I am mainly running Fishman in the build, so you should have plenty of Characters to choose from unless you get really unlucky with the draw.

Resting

The rest effects are mainly high cost Characters unless you are relying on Hyouzou's effect for the rest. OP11 Jinbe is the main card of the deck, as he is the one who can make use of the rest effects in this build. Jinbe has 2 effects, the first effect works on play, if your Leader is Fishman or Merfolk, rest 1 of your opponent's 5 cost or less Characters. The second effect is the main effect. Once per turn, 1 of your Fishman or Merfolk Characters can attack Characters on the turn in which it is played. This will give your Characters like pseudo Rush, and since we can rest Characters, it shouldn't be hard to trigger this effect.

OP11 Tiger is a nice 7k beat stick we can use for 6, not as good as Jinbe 8k beat stick for 6 DONs, but close enough. We do have an effect that could be difficult to trigger if your opponent doesn't target Tiger. The effect is when this Character is KO'd, you may rest 1 of your DONs to play one 4 cost or less Merfolk or Fishman Character from your hand. Just like Ikaros, there are plenty of choices to choose from for this build. The second effect works on play, rest 1 of your opponent's Characters. This can rest any cost. which gives you a lot of room to target certain high cost your opponent has on the field.

Then, we have the main boss Hody. Hody has Rush with an on play effect which is rest up to a total of 2 of your opponent's Characters or DONs. Then, add the top Life card to your hand. If we trigger Hody's Leader effect first before playing Hody, then we won't need to worry about taking Life cards away.

The only Event I am running is Vagabond Drill, I want to run more, but there are a lot of Fishman cards I need for this build, which is why I only ended up running 1 type of Event in the deck. The counter effect is your Leader or 1 of your Characters gains 3k power for this battle. Then, rest 1 of your opponent's 3 cost or less Characters. The only downside is definitely targeting 3 cost or less Characters, but at least is 3k power for 1 DON. The trigger effect is rest 1 of your opponent's 4 cost or less Characters.

The Supports

The rest of the support is very straight forward. OP06 Camie is pretty much the standard searcher for this deck. The effect works on play, look at the top 4 cards of your deck, reveal 1 Fishman or Merfolk card other than Camie and add it to your hand. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order.

Vander Decken is the only card with removal effect, otherwise we must use our rest effects to attack into those cards. The effect works on play, trash 1 Fishman card or Ark Noah from your hand or field to KO 1 of your opponent's rested Characters. This works the best with Tiger's effect since both of these cards can target any cost on the field as long as it fulfilled the requirements.

OP10 Tashigi is the only non Fishman in the deck and there's a reason why I am running Tashigi as this is a mono green build, so Tashigi can protect our Characters from your opponent's effects. The effect is if you have a green Character other than Tashigi is removed from your field by your opponent's effects, you may rest this Character instead. As long as that card says remove, we can use Tashigi to substitute instead, making your opponent must target Tashigi first before our other cards.

OP06 Hatchan is a vanilla, so you don't really want to play him unless you need a beat stick on the field. I am mainly running Hatchan for the trigger effect. The trigger effect is play one 3 cost or less Fishman or Merfolk Characters from your hand. There are still some choices to choose from, but not much.

OP11 Arlong may be a 7 cost on the outside of things, but during the mid to late game, that 7 cost can become cheaper to play. The effect is if your Leader is Fishman type, you have 3 or less Life cards and your opponents have 5 or more rested cards, reduce this card's cost in your hand by 3, making Arlong a 7k beat stick for 4 DONs. The trigger effect is the exact same as Vagabond Drill where we rest 1 of your opponent's 4 cost or less Characters.
