OP17 Green/Black (Brook) Deck Profile

Brook got a small update utilising the mill cards thanks to OP17 stuff. You could use the main 12 cost Elbaph engine for Brook, but you will be sacrificing other cards to fit Elbaph in the build. Instead, I'm only using a few stuff from Elbaph engine whilst maintaining this deck build, so we have enough mill to use some of the cards in this deck.

OP17 Brook

How it Works?

You want to mill at least 15 cards in trash to make the deck work and since I am running OP15 Luffy, you want to go at least 20 cards. I wouldn't worry about the cards that end up in the trash as you've got Chopper and Gerd who could bring back certain cards, so we could play them to the field. I've also focused on using OP15 Nami as Nami can bring back any Straw Hat from the trash, and that card gains Rush. If you combine that card with Brook, then, we could wipe your opponent's Life area, especially combined with Double Strike.

Mill

The mill of the deck combined with our Leader's effect, you can get a lot of cards to the trash. OP15 Sanji is the Straw Hat version of OP06 Cindry, so the effect is very straightforward. The effect works on play, if your Leader is SH type, mill the top 5 cards of your deck. You can play Sanji once or twice to build up the trash, then, you won't need to play any more and the 2k counter will come in handy for blocking.

OP15 Chopper is 1 of the key cards in the build to bring back any SH cards we need from the trash. Chopper has 2 effects, the first effect works on play, mill the top 3 cards of your deck. The second effect is an activate main, you may trash this Character, if your Leader is SH type, add 1 SH Character except Chopper from your trash to your hand.

Docking 6 is another important card to run as this card can bring back Chopper, so we can use Chopper's effect to bring back any SH Characters from our trash. Docking 6 has 2 effects, the first effect is that this card gains +6 cost, making this an 11 cost Character on the field. The second effect works on play, you may mill 3 cards from your deck to play one 2 cost or less SH Character from your trash.

Bond en Avant is a 0 Event and the main effect will be optional if you can get the mill going, but if you can't get the mill, then, the main effect will be useful. The main effect is you may rest 1 DON, if your Leader is SH type, mill the top 5 cards of your deck. Otherwise, you will mainly be using this card for the counter effect. The counter effect is you may trash 1 card from your hand, your Leader or 1 of your Characters gains 3k power for the battle.

Power

The more you mill, the easier you can play these 2 cards that I am running. OP15 Luffy will only be effective when you have at least 10 cards in trash, so you don't want to play this card if you can't get 10. The effect is apply the following base on the number of cards in your trash, if there are 10 or more cards, this card's base power becomes 9k and gains +10 cost. If there are 20 or more cards, during your opponent's turn, your Leader's base power becomes 7k. If there are 30 or more cards, this card gains 1k power. The important part is the 10 and 20 cards in trash effect as having a 9k beat stick and 7k base power Leader makes everything a lot easier to handle.

Storm is an Event where both of the effects will require 15 cards in trash to work. The main effect is you may rest 1 DON, if you have 15 cards or more in your trash, 1 of your SH Leader or Character gains 3k power for the turn. If we use this with our Characters like Double Attack Luffy, we could hit for more power and have Brook to untap Luffy, so your opponent will need to use a lot of counters or Blockers, or they would lose their Life cards in one go. The counter effect is if you have 15 or more cards in trash, your Leader or 1 of your Characters gains 4k power for the battle.

Untapping

Personally, OP14 Nami can be replaced, but we do have an Event that you want to use during your opponent's turn, so Nami can come in handy. Otherwise, part of Nami's effect will be useful if we ignore the other parts. The effect works on play, rest up to 2 of your opponent's 8 cost or less Characters. Then, untap 5 DONs at the end of your turn. The rest can come in handy as we have an Event that only target rested Characters.

OP13 Luffy is 1 of the main card we want to target as this card has Double Attack, forcing your opponent to use counters or blockers, or else, they will lose 2 Life cards. The effect works on play, if your Leader is multicoloured, untap 4 of your DONs. Then, you cannot play 5 cost base or more Characters for the turn. 5 cost or more doesn't really matter too much as we've got other cards you could play when you use Luffy's effect.

OP15 Brook will be a card we want to play on the field as soon as possible, so you could set up the combo for this build. Brook has 2 effects, the first effect works on play, rest 1 of your opponent's cards. The second effect is an activate main, you may trash this card, if your Leader is SH type, untap 1 of your 8 cost base or less Characters. This works especially well with OP13 Luffy, especially if you also can power up Luffy with DONs or Storm, so we can hit huge number.

Prevention

We do have a few cards that can stop your opponents, especially using effects. Part of OP17 Zoro will be pointless as I am not running 12 costs in this build, so you will be mainly targeting the other part of the effect. The effect is if 1 of your Character is removed by your opponent's effects, you may place 3 cards from your trash to the bottom of your deck in any order instead. This is not once per turn, so you can use this effect as much as possible as this deck can mill a lot of cards.

PRB02 Zoro can be replaced with OP15 Zoro if you don't like running PRB02 version. I'm only running PRB02 Zoro because of the 2k counter which could be useful for blocking. The effect works during your opponent's turn, if this Character would be rested by your opponent's Characters effect, you may rest 1 of your other Characters instead.

Electrical Luna can be replace with I'll Go All Out if you don't want to use Luna. Both of these cards will have the same cost for the main effect, it will be their other effect depending on which one you prefer. The main effect is all of your opponent's rested 7 cost or less Characters cannot become active in your opponent's next Refresh Phase. This is good against aggro builds. The trigger effect is rest 1 of your opponent's Characters. The trigger effect can be important if you see this card at the right time to stop your opponent's attacks.

The Supports

The rest of the supports are very simple as we've got EB02 Nami who is the main searcher of the deck. The effect works on play, look at top 5 cards of your deck, reveal 1 SH card except Nami and add it to your hand. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order.

Gerd works very well with the mill and part of the effect will be ignored as I am not running Elbaph Leader. The effect works on play, you may trash 1 card from your hand, add one 8 cost or less Character except Gerd from your trash to hand. You will be able to add any Characters from the trash as the maximum cost I am running is 8.

OP15 Nami will be a card you want to add with Gerd or Chopper if Nami ended up in your trash. The effect works on play, if your Leader is SH type, play one 7 cost or less SH Character from your trash. Then, that Character played with this effect gains Rush. The Rush will be handy and it depends what other cards you have in your hand, otherwise, you will be targeting either OP13 Luffy or OP15 Luffy.

Twin Jet Pistol is mainly for OP15 Luffy as this Event only works with Luffy cards, and OP13 Luffy will be a pointless target. The main effect is 1 of your Luffy gains Double Attack. Double Attack with OP15 Luffy could swing for 9k power if you have 10 cards in trash, and if you have Brook on the field, we could make OP15 Luffy attack twice for that turn. The trigger effect is rest your opponent's Leader.
