OP16 Blue/Yellow (Nami) Deck Profile

Nami have came really far, from underdog to top meta build. Well, it's always good to see some of these Leaders shine. Maybe not if you face 10 Nami builds. We do have a lot of cards for this Leader, so cramping everything in one deck will be very tight, but I will see what I can do.

OP16 Nami

How it Works?

Nami will have plenty of draw power and Life gain available for the build. Not to mention, I am also running TB Pirates engine which will fill up the field if needed, so you don't need to use up the DONs to play your Characters. As I've tried to cramp as much cards as possible, I had to reduce the numbers just to fit the cards I want. You want to use your Leader's effect as soon as possible since the 2k power boost is for that turn and not for the battle.

Life Gain

No idea about you, but I like to have a lot of Life gains in my build, the more the better as we could make the game last longer. Although, 1 of the cards will need to rely on your opponents to work. The card I am talking to is OP06 Kiku who only works on KO, if your opponent has 3 or less Life cards, add the top card of your deck to top of your Life area. This shouldn't be difficult unless your opponent starts with a lot of Life cards. The trigger effect is if your opponent has 3 or less Life cards, play this card.

OP15 Zoro is nice to have, especially if you need to reduce your hand size so you can get the draw off from the Leader's effect. The effect works on play, you may trash 1 card to add the top card of your deck to top of your Life area.

EB04 Kizaru is a staple for yellow builds, so I don't need to explain why this is in the deck, unless you can't afford the card, so you might have to use other replacement instead. The effect works on play, if you have 2 or less Life cards, add the top card of your deck to top of your Life area.

EB03 Robin can easily trigger Nami's Leader effect as we get to remove a Life card before gain a Life card. Robin has 2 effects, the first effect works on play, you may trash the top card of your Life area, if your Leader is SH type, add up to 2 cards from top of your deck to top of your Life area. The second effect works during your opponent's turn and on KO, you may deal 1 damage to your opponent. Having both Kiku and Robin on the field can reduce your opponent's attacking options against your Characters.

OP16 Blackbeard is 1 of the new cards I've added from OP16 set, and the card works amazingly, especially if you want to set up the trigger effects. The effect works on play, look at top 3 cards of your deck, add 1 card to top of your Life area. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order. Although, not every card in this build will have trigger effect, so you might hit and miss with this effect. The trigger effect is also very good as it can act as a removal which is negate the effect of 1 of your opponent's Characters this turn. Then, KO 1 of your opponent's 5 cost or less Characters.

Removals

As for the removal, we have 3 cards that can affect your opponents and 1 of the cards focus on your Life area. OP11 Zeus is a card that works very well with the Leader's effect as well as removing your opponent's Characters. The effect works on play, you may add the top or bottom card of your Life area to your hand to KO 1 of your opponent's 5 cost or less Characters.

OP06 Hiyori not only remove your Life area, but we can also set up trigger effects especially when we draw those cards in our hand. The effect works on play, you may add the top or bottom card from your Life area to hand to add 1 card from your hand to top of your Life area.

EB03 Nami mainly focus on your opponent's Life area, however, we also have another effect that can be useful. Nami has 2 effects, the first effect works on play, attach 1 rested DON to your Leader. Then, if your opponent has 3 or more Life cards, add the top card of your opponent's Life area to their hand. It won't matter if you can't remove your opponent's Life area as we want to attach a DON to our Leader for the effect. The second effect works on KO, you may turn the top card from your Life area face up to play one 6k power or less Character from your hand. This can give you plenty of options to choose, especially when this deck have plenty of draw power.

Gravity Blade is back, and especially useful if you have a full field of Characters and want to get rid of your opponent's Characters. The effect is place up to two 6 cost or less Characters to the bottom of the owner's deck in any order. You can only target 6 or less, but that number is still decent as most main cards are 5 costs. The trigger effect is place one 5 cost Character to the bottom of the owner's deck. Just like Blackbeard, this effect can stop 1 of your opponent's attacks, especially when we can add this card to the Life area.

Draw

There are a decent amount of draw power for this build, so you won't need to struggle for hand size. OP16 Galdino is the other card from the OP16 set that can be really useful for this build. The effect is an activate main, you may trash this Character to draw 2 cards, and up to 1 of your opponent's 9 cost or less Characters cannot attack until the end of your opponent's turn. Ideally, you want to attack with this card first before you use the effect, unless you want to stop 1 of your opponent's high power beat stick as soon as possible.

OP12 Baby 5 is for the trigger effect and you have Hiyori or Blackbeard who can place this card in your Life area for the effect to work. The trigger effect is if your Leader is multicoloured, draw 2 cards. Otherwise, you will mainly be using this card for the 2k counter which will go very well with the Leader's effect.

PRB02 Marco is mainly a Blocker, and the effect works on KO, draw 2 cards. I don't think you need to run more than 2 as there are other cards you could play, unless you really need that Blocker to stop your opponent's attacks.

OP13 Whitebeard is another Blocker, but can be used as an attack if we are going for the final push for game. The effect works on play, draw 2 cards and trash 1 card from your hand. Then, attach up to 2 rested DONs to your Leader and 1 of your Characters. Not only we can draw, but we can also power up our attacks, so some of our Characters can hit better numbers.

Thriller Bark Pirates Supports

The last piece of the deck where we are able to fill up the field with ease will be OP14 TB Pirates engine. Kumacy, Dr Hogback and Perona has the exact same trigger effect which is you play one 4 cost or less TB Pirates Character from your trash rested. Dr Hogback does has a main effect which works on KO, play one 4 cost or less and a Trigger Character except Dr Hogback from your trash. Not many options you can choose from with this effect.

Perona is very useful as with the right timing, you can easily stop 1 of your opponent's attacks. The effect works on play or on KO, 1 of your opponent's 6 cost or less Characters cannot attack until the end of your opponent's turn. With the TB Pirates Trigger's effect, you will also be playing Perona at rest, so your opponent may not want to attack until with the last Character.

Moria is a card that can give you option to either fill up the field or set up the Life area depend on what you need. The effect works on play, select one 4 cost or less TB Pirates Character from your trash and play it or add it to top of your Life area face up. You could set up the trigger effect or fill the field. The trigger effect is play one 4 cost or less Character from your trash. This trigger effect lets you play any 4 cost, so you have a lot of choices in this build to choose from depending on what you need.
