OP15 Purple/Yellow (Robin) Deck Profile

OP09 Robin mainly focused on the new yellow cards, just like a lot of decks with yellow as part of the colours. Although, there won't be a huge difference between the previous build with EB03 cards and this build with OP15, as I've mainly kept the main engine of the deck.

OP15 Robin

How it Works?

I am still running triggers cards, but I had to reduce the amount in the deck because of the Life gain cards. You can still trigger Robin's ramp if you can see at least 1 Trigger card in your hand. We won't be needing to trigger Robin's ramp constantly, because once we get to 10 DONs, we can't get anymore, so you don't need to fill the deck with trigger cards, but will need to have a good amount for the chances. Plus, you also have Banish which can put pressure against your opponents if you don't have enough DONs to play the Characters.

Life Gain

There's a lot of Life gain in this build and hopefully, those Life gains could increase the chances of hitting our trigger effects. OP15 Zoro works on play, you may trash 1 card to add the top card of your deck to top of your Life area. The trashing would help as there are some cards like the TB Pirates engine would benefit in your trash.

EB04 Kizaru only works if you have low health, but we do have a 6k Blocker on the field. The effect works on play, if you have 2 or less Life cards, add the top card of your deck to top of your Life area. This can be useful if we don't want to play our other Life gain cards.

OP12 Kuma is a 7k beat stick we can use, and it doesn't matter if he cost 6 to play as we've got ramp in this build, so we could increase the chances of playing Kuma early. Kuma has 2 effects, the first effect works on play, you may trash 1 card from your hand, add the top card of your deck to top of your Life area. Then, this Character gains +2 cost until the end of your opponent's turn. You will be discarding 2 cards in a turn if you want to use both Robin Leader and Kuma's effect on the same turn. The second effect works during your opponent's turn and on KO, add the top card of your deck to top of your Life area.

EB03 Robin can be very good especially when we are running a SH Leader. Robin also has 2 effects like Kuma. The first effect works on play, you may trash the top card of your Life area, if your Leader is SH type, add up to 2 cards from top of your deck to top of your Life area. Of course, we want to hit the maximum 2 as this is a trigger effect deck. The second effect also works during your opponent's turn and on KO, you may deal 1 damage to your opponent. This would put some pressure as we already have a Leader with Banish keyword.

Thriller Bark Pirates Supports

I am not running a lot of TB Pirates stuff from OP14 set as I needed room to fit other cards. Kumacy, Perona and Dr Hogback has the exact same trigger effect which is play one 4 cost or less TB Pirates Character from your trash rested. You mainly want to target Perona or Dr Hogback with this effect. Perona works on play or on KO, 1 of your opponent's 6 cost or less Characters cannot attack until the end of your opponent's turn. This will be able to stop your opponent's attacks.

Dr Hogback only works on KO, play one 4 cost or less and a Trigger Character except Dr Hogback from your trash. There's not a lot of choices for 4 cost or less with Trigger effects, but you can play Olvia to power up your Leader, making your opponents needing more power to hit your Leader.

Moria can be used as an extra Life gain or to fill up your field depending on what you need. The effect works on play, select one 4 cost or less TB Pirates Character from your trash and play it or add it to top of your Life area face up. However, what I am aiming for is the trigger effect which is the key aim for this build. The trigger effect is play one 4 cost or less from your trash. We could play cards like OP15 Zoro and get the Life gain effect again, so your opponents will need more attacks to reduce our Life area.

The Supports

The rest of the support is the same as my previous build, except I have added OP15 Luffy to the build as 1 of the new cards. Olvia is a great card for this build as we can use the effect for both offense and defence. The effect works on play, 1 of your Robin Leader gains 3k power for the turn. The trigger effect is if your Leader is Robin, draw 3 cards and trash 2 cards.

OP12 Baby 5 is a 2k counter vanilla in your hand, so you want to use the trigger effect, especially when we have a lot of discarding to do. The trigger effect is if your Leader is multicoloured, draw 2 cards. Hopefully, with at least 4 Life gain cards in this build, this would increase our chance of hitting these cards.

OP15 Luffy is mainly for the Rush, so we could be as aggressive as possible, whilst using the TB Pirates engine to fill up the field. Luffy has 2 effects, the first effect is if you have 6 or more DONs, this Character gains Rush. This is not difficult to do as we have some ramp in this build to trigger the Rush early. The second effect works when your opponents activate an Event or Blocker, reveal the top card of your Life area, this Character gains 1k power for the turn per cost revealed on that card. This would rely on luck, so your Life gain cards will be mainly doing the job in changing the Life cards.

OP14 Rayleigh is our removal, and the only removal in this build to reduce your opponent's Characters, and if we can't meet the requirements, we can always discard this card with our Leader's effect. The effect works on play, if your Leader is multicoloured and your opponent has 3 or less Life cards, KO 1 of your opponent's 7k base power or less Characters. The trigger effect is activate this card's on play effect.

Events

Not much for the Events as I am only running these 2 cards. Giant is the obvious choice as we can use the draw power for the deck and filter out our hand. The counter effect is by returning 2 DONs, you may trash 1 card from your hand, if your Leader is SH type, your Leader or 1 of your Characters gains 4k power for the battle. Then, draw 2 cards.

Golden Rifle is mainly for the counter effect and not for the main effect. The main effect doesn't really benefit this deck. The main effect is, if your Leader is SH type, trash the top card of your Life area. Then, add the top card of your deck to your Life area and trash 1 card from your hand. The counter effect is your Leader gains 4k power for the battle which is not bad for 1 cost.
