OP15 Green/Blue (Zoro & Sanji) Deck Profile

Zoro & Sanji got a nice upgrade from OP15 set, although, cramping all the cards into this build is not as easy. I really like the Leader's effect and combined with cards like OP15 Brook, we can easily make 1 of our Characters swing for 3 times in a turn.

OP15 Zoro & Sanji

How it Works?

The deck is very simple as we will be returning cards like Vivi or Decken in order to reuse their on play effect again, whilst making cards like Carrot to use her effect and stop your opponent's Characters from attacking. Carrot is not once per turn, so in a turn, you could easily stop 2 of your opponent's Characters, unless they are high cost Characters. Then, we would need to play Decken to remove those high cost Characters.

As you know Zoro & Sanji can only untap 7k power or less, so you don't want to add DON power to that card if it hits over 7k power. But after you untap your Character with the Leader's effect. You can then add DONs power to that Character, so we can use Brook's effect to untap that Character, so that Character will be able to swing twice with a lot of power, whilst once at the 7k power limit.

Draw

What I like about these 2 cards is that they are Slash Characters which makes it very useful, especially Vivi who we want to spam the effect. Not only that we can search these cards with Perona's effect, but we can also play these cards for free with Mihawk and Law's effect. Vivi's effect works on play, if your Leader is multicoloured and you have 5 or less cards in your hand, draw 2 cards. As long as we maintain a low hand size, we could easily spam Vivi's effect to get some draw power.

OP10 Cavendish is a nice 6k beat stick we could use. The effect works when attacking, draw 2 cards and trash 1 card from your hand. Unfortunately, we cannot spam this effect as this is only once per turn, so you might be better off choosing another card.

Untapping

We have 2 cards that can untap DONs which will be important for the Leader's effect and 1 card that can untap Character. OP13 Zoro has 2 effects, the first effect works on play, if your Leader is FILM or SH type, untap 2 DONs. This will allow us to give 1 DON to the Leader's effect if we want to trigger the untapping. The second effect works at the end of your turn, untap this Character. This is also very helpful as your opponent won't be able to target this card for an attack, so we can have at least 1 beat stick on the field to use.

OP13 Luffy having that Double Attack ability combined with the Leader's effect, makes him very strong, as making this card hit with Double Attack twice will make your opponent loses 4 Life cards in one go. But it will give them 4 extra cards in their hand. The effect works on play, untap 4 DONs, then, you cannot play Characters with base cost of 5 or more this turn. Personally, this won't be too important as there are plenty of low cost Characters we can play.

OP15 Brook is a nice support for this deck as we will be able to create more attacking combo for this deck. Brook has 2 effects, the first effect works on play, rest 1 of your opponent's cards. he second effect is an activate main, you may trash this Character, if your Leader is SH type, untap 1 of your 8 cost base or less Characters. As this is a cost target, we can give DONs power to that Character before we use Brook's effect.

Rest

Only 2 rest cards, well if you include Brook, that will make it 3 as all these cards can rest any cards, maybe not these 2 cards. OP06 Hody has Rush but can also be used as a discard fodder for Decken's effect. The effect works on play, rest up to a total of 2 of your opponent's Characters or DONs. Then, add the top Life card to your hand.

Dead's Man Game is just a cheaper version of Hody, but also have counter effect which can protect your Leader. The main effect is you may rest 3 DONs to rest up to total of 2 of your opponent's Characters or DONs, costing you 4 altogether instead of 7 like Hody.  The counter effect is our Leader gains 3k power for the battle.

Removals

As for the removal, I am running these 2 cards who will works the best with your rest effect, unless your opponent can attack with those Characters. Decken is 1 of our key card in this build as this is one of the main Characters we want to bounce back to hand with our Leader's effect. The effect works on play, you may trash 1 Fishman from your hand or Noah from your hand or field to KO 1 of your opponent's rested Characters. You will pretty much have a guarantee removal in your hand if you keep bouncing Decken to hand.

EB04 Megalo unfortunately doesn't work with Decken, but the effect can also be useful. The effect works on play, you may rest this Character to KO 1 of your opponent's rested 8k power or less Characters. 8k power is a big target, so we could easily target some nice beat stick, but Decken will still be doing most of the removal.

Prevention

Reducing your opponent's options is what we mainly want, so we can slow your opponent's down. OP15 Laboon is a nice 1 drop, and we do have a few cards who can untap, so we can trigger Laboon's effect. The effect is if your 7k base power or less Character would be removed by your opponent's effects, you may rest 2 of your cards instead.

OP12 Koushiro is mainly to protect our Slash Characters, since majority of the low cost are Slash Characters. Koushiro is also a 2 drop Blocker, so if you need to stop your opponent's attack, the Blocker will be useful, and being Slash himself, means Perona can search this card out. The effect is if your 5 cost or less Slash attribute Characters would be KO'd by your opponent's effects, you may rest this card instead.

OP15 Arlong is mainly for the Slash attribute and a discard fodder for Decken's effect. It will be very difficult to trigger Arlong's effect as we don't have the right cards to trigger, especially the second effect, so we can ignore this. The first effect works on KO, up to 2 of your opponent's rested cards will not become active during your opponent's next Refresh Phase. As this works on KO, it does reduce your opponent's attacking options, unless there are nothing to target when this get KO'd.

OP08 Carrot is the main card we want to target with the Leader's effect. The effect works on play or when attacking, up to 1 of your opponent's rested 7 cost or less Characters cannot become active during your opponent's next Refresh Phase. This doesn't have once per turn restriction, so if you can trigger the when attacking effect twice, we will be able to stop 2 of your opponent's cards.

Free Play

I have kept these 2 cards in the deck as the Leader's effect will definitely put these effect to good use. ST12 Mihawk is another card we could bounce back to hand once we used the effect so we have 2k counter we can use. The effect works on play, if you have 2 or less Characters, play one 4 cost or less Muggy Kingdom or Slash attribute Character except Mihawk from your hand at rest. The rest won't matter too much if you have enough DONs, you can use the Leader's effect to untap that rest Character.

I've only got enough room to run 1 Law in the build, but personally, you don't need a lot of OP13 Law in the build. Law has 2 effects, the first effect is if you have 1 or less Life cards, this Character gains Blocker. So we can attack with Law, then, untap him with the Leader's effect and have a Blocker ready during your opponent's turn. The second effect works on play, you may return 1 of your Characters to the owner's hand to play one 5 cost or less Characters from your hand at rest. Just like Mihawk, we can use our Leader's effect to untap that Character, so your opponents won't be able to target our rested Characters.

Slash Supports

The rest is simple, OP12 Perona who is our main searcher of the deck and OP12 Kawamatsu who is a Slash Character and also a Fishman, so we can use this card as a discard fodder for Decken. Perona's effect works on play, if your Leader have the Slash attribute, look at top 5 cards of your deck, reveal up to 1 Slash attribute Character or 1 green Event and add it to your hand. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order.
