GCG Link Station EP 25 - [ST07] & [ST08] – New Card Mega Review

 

Finally, some card reveals for GCG since the last 2 previous videos were disappointing, especially last week episode. I am very tempted to get ST07 deck even though I have no locals to play GCG. I just don't mind collecting the 00 series since it's my favourite Gundam show, and I don't have much time to hesitate since the release date for the decks is near.

Cards

A unit with the repair ability, but it's not actually repair since we need to destroy a Unit to work. Well Dynames does have 4 HP, and that 4 HP could be helpful, especially, I think Setsuna could power the AP thanks to being a CB Unit. We also got during link ability which can give Dynames more power.

We have the original pilot for Dynames Neil as if you watched 00, there's 2 Lockon. I think Neil was the old brother.  Anyway, the effect is really helpful as we could make Dynames a 6 HP Unit with the ability to attack active units, easily triggering Dynames effect.

For the ST08 deck, we are moving to Hathaway series which follows the OG Gundam timeline. Hopefully, the cards could work with OG Gundam cards as we can see Earth Federation as a requirement. It is another draw power, but we would have to lose a unit on the field, it won't matter too much if that Unit only has 1 or 2 HP left, and you know that unit would get destroyed during your opponent's turn, so you might as well bounce it back to the deck. Although, this is a hefty cost, not to mention the effect only work during pair.

Now, we've got the Pilot for Penelop which is Lane Aim, and the effect is definitely suited with Penelop as we can constantly draw cards with Penelop, easily triggering Lane's effect as High maneuver is very good. Of course, there are other cards that can let you draw, and you would only need to pair this with a blue unit for the high maneuver to work.
