GCG Link Station EP 21 - Battle Royale w/ ST08 Cards Revealed

 

What I do like about GCG is that we have Battle Royale format and Tag Format. No idea why we couldn't get this format in other Bandai card games like OPCG where Pirates can also team up together. It just makes the game more fun rather than the standard 1v1 format. Of course, you will need to get players, and that is the difficult part if only 2 people plays the game.

Anyway, looks like we will also be getting ST08 card reveals which is the Hathaway deck, but I am only interested in 00 deck. Although Hathaway does have some really interesting cards for red, and if you are a red player, this could be the deck that could make red good in GCG.

Cards

I think Xi Gundam is very strong for a starter deck card, especially when GCG have no limits in how many Units you can have on the field, except Tag format where the Unit limits are 6, but in 1v1 situations, this card is good. The only restriction is that you must not have a Lv6 or higher Unit on the field, and you will be good to go. 4 or 5 Units on your opponent field can already bring down this card's Level and Cost cheaply, and plus we can deal 3 damage to the highest level.

Now, we've got the Pilot, Hathaway who only works with Mafty Units, so Xi Gundam will be one of them and also works very well with Xi, as Xi can damage high level units when you Pilot Link with Hathaway, and if that unit is activate, we can attack into that card to remove it from the field.
