GCG Link Station Release Celebration

 

With the release of the starter decks, I'm not surprised that they have made a video to celebrate the release of GCG. This is a 2 hours long video, and I'll skim and scam the video to the important information. Although, you can skip like 15 mins of the video since it is still on the same slide when you start the video.

There's Q&A for the first part of the video, and the introduction of the game. Then, there's going to be a game, showing part of the deck list etc, giving people idea how to build the deck. Although, the deck list will combined with GD01 set since I doubt its would be difficult to make your favourite series with just the starter deck, unless that starter deck only focus on one series.

The Witch from Mercury Deck

Zeon Deck

As we can see, 2 different build, Mercury deck is pure white whilst Zeon is a red build with a splash of green. No idea if this would be effective, but I would like this Zeon build if we can do a lot of burn damage. 

Rarities

To be honest, AA or not, it does depends on the type of card. Personally, with Bandai games, no matter what type of games there are, they sometimes have poorly made AA where the OG art is a lot better. This is why I don't really have high hope for AA cards. But this is my personal opinion, and you might think AA looks better than OG for the games.

Now we move on to the money cards, LR++, the highest rarity we could get in this game, unless they are making even higher rarity in future. Personally, this looks like it is taken from DBSCG, as I used to pull these cards that has similar art style to this, and I've sold that card, worth a lot of money. But you will need to be lucky.

Tutorial App

I haven't played the tutorial app as I've forgotten, so I don't know if this will be something new to the app. But hey, at least they are updating, and not release the tutorial once, and leave it out forever.

Would this be a tutorial app if we can open packs? I think this is closer to a mobile simulator without the PvP content. Well, at least it is better than nothing, and for people who doesn't have a locals that supports GCG, this could be quite useful to have.

Events

You will need to check your own GCG page as this is the schedule in Japan. They are already having Championship even though the game on came out like yesterday.

Collabs

SD has been confirmed to be in the card game, although, I wasn't a big fan of G Eternal as I prefer the game like hack and slash.

This is nice to have, and the deadline is next year, so maybe I should try this game.

Gundam 00 Release Date

At long last, my favourite series is finally coming to the card game. I don't know if I want to get the cards, but it is in January next year, and we are also getting a starter deck, making it easier to build a deck. Well, I guess time will tell, since I don't have anyone to try the deck against, so it will be a waste of money if I do get the cards. I guess there's also the collector side, where I can get 1 copy per card, but that's also a pain to.

Song

They even went to the extreme of making a song for GCG. Although compare to the Gundam series OP/ED, not really that good, then again, I don't really understand the lyrics. Hopefully, there will be some translation to get a better grasp of the lyrics.
