Nothing much in today episode. It is mainly just starter deck unboxing with 2 cards revealed from GD01 set. But at least it gives us a list of what is inside the starter decks, and I'm not even sure if I like the numbers. There are some 3 copies in the starter decks, and even if you buy 2 copies of the starter decks, you might end up with 6 copies of certain cards.
3 copies in starter decks when the game has maximum copies of 4 in a deck does tell me 1 thing. There will be less cards in these starter decks compare to a deck that have 4 and 2 copies in the decks. It does filter out some useless cards that would never be used, so I guess that's the advantage of having 3 copies. Too bad, they didn't give us 3 copies of the SR in the deck, otherwise I would have say these starter decks would be worth the money.
I am glad Hathaway is back, after watching their movie and it ended as a cliffhanger. I am not surprised if this is in GD03 set as the starter deck have been revealed since this card game usually prioritise new Gundam series first before older Gundam series.
Cards
We've got triple translation here for Justice, and looks like we get to play a Token. Unfortunately, we do have a during pair keyword to make our token do some sneaky attack. So we need Justice to equip with a Pilot to work, mainly Athrun. So we could use Athrun's pairing effect to attack our opponent's active Units. Hopefully, we will get more Triple Ship Alliance in future to make this card really work.
We've got the Justice Backpack that Athrun tends to use to destroy stuff as well as using it for flying. This is just a Blocker, but we could make use of that Blocker if we need to do an addition attack, sometimes you need it if you want to destroy certain units or your opponent's base or shields. It is all about the kind of situation you are in.
ST08 has been confirmed that they will focus on the Hathaway series. I am looking forward to see what cards will be in this set.
