I decided to talk about OCG Ban list since I played the OCG format mainly on MDpro3 for Synchrons build, so I could access Baronne and Herald. Although, with the new support for Synchrons, I may not need those cards on the field anymore. But I do want to talk about this ban list and surprisingly Maxx C is limited.
Maxx C was semi limited for a very long time, I never thought the OCG side of things want to limit this card. Well, I guess this just makes Mulcharmy being put to use more in the OCG format just like TCG. Called By also got limited so now this will be the same as TCG where both Crossout and Called By are limited to 1, so people can use more hand traps I guess.
Speaking of hand traps, Ash and Impulse are semi limited. I thought Konami created Ash to answer combo decks, so I never expected to see that card being hit. Well I guess this would create more spaces with 1 less hand trap in the build. Impulse is another surprised, although I have noticed a lot more decks run Impulse more than Imperm as it seems Imperm is getting redundant, unless your builds can run both of these traps.
What's back is Metamorphasis, a really old YGO card, and I didn't expect this card to be back in OCG anyway as this could cheat out Fusion cards without Poly. But I guess Neo Bubbleman is back to being playable since this was the only way to summon Neo Bubbleman.
For the unlimited, Pot of Desires would be useful if you play banish decks, and Astrograph for Pendulum Magician. Although, the thing with Pendulum, I considered them as an abandon mechanic by Konami. Pendulum was really strong in the old era, but ever since Links came out, Pendulum really dropped out completely because of the Link Arrows.
The TCG Ban list will be completely different to this OCG ban list, but I want to talk about OCG because Maxx C has finally got limited from semi limited, so no more Maxx C challenge when you can play spam decks. Maybe the format is changing in the OCG.
