GCG Link Station Ep 14 - Gundam Assemble painting, ST06 Card Reveals

If you are interested in D&D style of gameplay, Gundam will have Gundam Assemble being introduced, although, I think you can buy the models along with the deck, but painting is my major issue. I thought they would print out gunpla styles where we would have the basic colours, and only need to paint them for more details.

Turns out, that is not the case, and we would just have the plain colours, and will need to paint them like D&D. If you've already invested in D&D or gunplas, you would already have the tools to paint those models. But if you haven't, you will need to buy brush, a nipper and paints. I don't know how much model paints cost these days, but could be expensive depending on where you live. Of course, you could always try markers, but these models are better painted rather than colouring.

Anyway, enough rambling about Gundam Assemble, and we should focus on the card reveals. You can watch the video about painting those models, but as for me who already build models before, I'm not really interested. What I will be interested is ST06, and I think that deck focus on GQuX series.

Cards

The effect is simple, but very effective. All you need is a friendly Clan unit on the field for this to gain First Strike. Although only 4/4 Unit, but when you Pilot Link, that AP and HP can change. This will also works in a 2v2 format hence the keyword friendly here and not just your Unit.

Now, we've got the Pilot Machu, and a Lv4 Pilot on boot. I think the only reason why this card is Lv4 because of the search effect, and the search effect can hit and miss if you are not running a full Clan deck, as we only look at the top card of the deck, and not number of cards. But, we can make Omega 6 AP with First Strike, so I will take it.

ST06 Release Date

Next month, this will come out, but of course, we could get delay depending on where you live as it always happens with Bandai products, and certain location get it late than the rest of the world.

Events

Looks like JP Event is already moving to Mission 2 for Newtype Challenge. The global would follow suite, but you will need to keep track on the social media pages for Global, as Link Station doesn't really follow global Events.

Prizes for Mission 2, and I really like that Zeta Gundam at the end.

It seems China will also be getting their World Championship for their region.
