Just Digimon News from Yuuki, but more information on AD01 set and a card revealed in that set. DCG players should be excited if AD01 have some of your favourite Digimon. There's also Events that have been revealed, but the video is very short, so this post shouldn't be long.
Release Date
If you haven't noticed, AD01 has an official release date of March 27th.
Gallantmon
Gallantmon and Ulforce was released at the same time when they first come out, now seeing Gallantmon getting so many support makes me jealous. I do prefer Red in Digimon, but since my favourite Digimon is Ulforce, I have to main blue. I have no idea why this card game prefer Imperial, I guess Imperial is more popular.
Anyway, Gallantmon is not bad, Rush, Raid and Piercing is a deadly combination especially for Raid and Piercing. I really doubt we can hard play this for 12 and attack with this card, unless we have cards who can play Digimon for free. The when digivolving is pretty strong especially when Gallantmon line has cards that can increase the DP number, so 10k is just the minimum. Plus, we can also attack with this Digimon, maybe triggering Raid and Piercing at the same time wiping 2 of your opponent's Digimon in a turn.
We also have a when digivolving or when attacking effect which let us delete 1 of your opponent's lowest DP Digimon. I guess let's make this 3 Digimon will be deleted this turn just with 1 Digimon alone. Not to mention, the final ability would be the chef kiss I guess. It's like one of those Hybrid effects where we need their main Tamers to be in the digi source, and then this won't be able to be deleted by your opponent's Digimon effect. But most importantly, it is that 5k power which will make Raid very effective as Raid let us swing at unsuspended Digimon with the highest DP.
Trait Limited Battle
There's a trait limited battle where certain traits can be used for that time. 30 cards doesn't seems a lot unless I missed something here that the new Digimon meta barely use the same traits. I think 20 cards being any cards can be an advantage as we could use memory boosts and training cards for the build. Looking at the example here, cards with multiple traits will be fine as long as 1 of those trait is mentioned in trait limited battle.
For the prize when participating for trait limited battle. There's not long length as we only got 2 more weeks until the end of February.
