Bonney is another build where we can make use of trigger cards which means OP16 will have some cards that can work with this build. Although, I have kept this build very simple as we mainly want to focus on the Trigger cards to make use of the Leader's effect.

How it Works?
There are some non trigger effects in this build, but they are important even if it risk not using your Leader's effect for that turn. I have kept the TB Pirates engine as the TB Pirates all have Trigger ability which will let us trigger the Leader's effect. Bonney and Zoro will discard cards, so you can get rid of Hogback and Perona, so we can play them from the trash area.
Life Gain
2 of our Life gain cards has the trigger ability which means, our Leader's effect will activate when they hit the field. OP06 Kiku is 1 of those cards even though the effect is very situational. The effect works on KO, if your opponent has 3 or less Life cards, add 1 card from top from top of your deck to top of the Life area. The trigger effect is if your opponent has 3 or less Life cards, play this card.
OP15 Zoro is another 6k beat stick for 4, but unlike Kiku, we don't have a trigger ability on this card. The effect works on play, you may trash 1 card to add the top card of your deck to top of your Life area. I am running quite a few copies so we could get the discarding effect to set up the TB Pirates from the trash.
EB04 Kizaru is a Blocker, but might take a bit longer to play this card as we start with 5 Life cards. Just like Zoro, Kizaru doesn't have a Trigger ability, so you won't be able to trigger the Leader's effect. The effect works on play, if you have 2 or less Life cards, add the top card of your deck to top of your Life area.
OP16 Blackbeard is the obvious choice as this card has a very strong effect, especially if your deck runs a lot of trigger abilities, not to mention also triggering the Leader's effect. The effect works on play, look at top 3 cards of your deck, add 1 card to top of your Life area. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order. The trigger effect is also very good as it can act as a removal which is negate the effect of 1 of your opponent's Characters this turn. Then, KO 1 of your opponent's 5 cost or less Characters.
Removals
Not much for removal, as these cards mainly target your opponent's Life area. EB03 Nami doesn't have a trigger ability, but the effect can be useful. Nami has 2 effects, the first effect works on play, attach 1 rested DON to your Leader. Then, if your opponent has 3 or more Life cards, add the top card of your opponent's Life area to their hand. The second effect works on KO, you may turn the top card from your Life area face up to play one 6k power or less Character from your hand. You do have plenty of Characters to choose from, just as long as you can get those cards to hand.
OP13 Bonney will work well in this build as our Leader is Egghead type, plus having that Trigger ability will let us attach some DONs. The effect works on play, if your Leader is Egghead, this Character gains Rush. Then, your opponent add the top Life card to their hand. Rush is useful and not only that, you can reduce your opponent's Life area. The trigger effect is if you have 1 or less Life cards, rest 1 of your opponent's 7 cost or less Characters. This will require the right timing to work.
Thriller Bark Pirates Supports
Not much being creative with this engine, but hey, when it works it works, just like the Life gain cards. Kumacy, Perona and Dr Hogback has the exact same trigger effect which is play one 4 cost or less TB Pirates Character from your trash rested. You mainly want to target Perona or Dr Hogback with this effect. Dr Hogback only works on KO, play one 4 cost or less and a Trigger Character except Dr Hogback from your trash. There are a few choices you can choose, but you will need luck to pull it off.
Perona works on play or on KO, 1 of your opponent's 6 cost or less Characters cannot attack until the end of your opponent's turn. This will be able to stop your opponent's attacks, especially if you can play Perona at the right time, you don't want to play Perona when your opponent's attacks are ending.
Moria is a card that can fill up the field or increase your Life area depending on what you need. The effect works on play, select one 4 cost or less TB Pirates Character from your trash and play it or add it to top of your Life area face up. The trigger effect is play one 4 cost or less from your trash. Thanks to this Trigger effect, you can play any 4 cost or less compare to Hogback.
Other Supports
The rest of the supports for the deck will be these cards. OP13 Lilith is our main searcher, but there is a requirement. The effect works on play, look at top 4 cards of your deck, reveal 1 Trigger card except Lilith and add it to your hand. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order. You can only add Trigger cards to your hand which shouldn't be difficult unless you get really unlucky with the top cards. The trigger effect is activate this card's on play effect.
OP07 Usopp is mainly for the trigger effect, otherwise, this card will just be used as a 2k counter. The trigger effect is 1 of your Egghead Leader or Characters gains 2k power until the end of your next turn. This is very strong as we will be keeping that power bonus, so you don't have to worry if you see this card at the end of your opponent's attacks.
OP08 Bonney is our main draw power, and our Leader can easily attach DONs to this card in order to trigger the effect. The effect works on your turn and once per turn, when a card is removed from your opponent's Life cards, draw 2 cards and trash 1 card from your hand. As long as you can remove your opponent's Life area, this will trigger which is very easy for our removals in the build. The trigger effect is draw 2 cards and trash 1 card from your hand.
I am running Blaze Slice simply because I don't know which Events to choose from. There are a lot of Events you can use for this deck, or you can run fully Characters if needed. The effect works during main or counter, your Leader or 1 of your Characters gains 1k power for the turn. Then, if your opponent has 2 or less Life cards, rest 1 of your opponent's 4 cost or less Characters. The 1k power will be useful, especially during your opponent's turn as it will last for that turn and not for the battle. The trigger effect is similar to the main effect where we rest 1 of your opponent's 4 cost or less Characters.
