ONE PIECE Card Game Championship 25-26 Season 2 Tournament in Osaka

 

Looks like we are moving to the west region after Tokyo was finished. We have some new cards revealed, some cards have already been revealed in the EN channel, and some I would need to translate them, but we might see the official translation next week in the EN channel. We've also got accessories revealed, but I think those might be JP only unless Premium Bandai will be doing those accessories.

Tournament

Looks like in this tournament, Ace is back again like OP13 released with Imu being second at 13%. The only difference is our Green deck is Mihawk instead of Zoro with 11% along with Hancock. What I am surprised is that OP11 Luffy is back with 8% of the people using that deck.

Bonney and Doffy still being 6% each, but there's a lot more people using Bonney in this tournament it seems. Sabo and Crocodile have 4% of people using the deck. Crocodile is a surprising deck to see that it is rising, more and more people looks like they've found a way to make use of Crocodile.

Jinbe and Nami has 3% of players using that deck whilst we still see Vivi in this tournament with 2% along with Zoro and OP13 Luffy. Lastly, the 1% we have Roger and Sanji as 1%.

Top 16

This has to be the most surprising Top 16 result I've seen. No Imu deck managed to make it, last time, we still have 1 Imu deck, but this time 0 Imu decks made it. The other surprising result is Hancock have done better than Ace considering 17% of people are using Ace builds. Well it does prove that OPCG is a lot more unpredictable even if you use the most heavy meta deck.

Another surprised is EB02 Luffy came out of nowhere considering that deck wasn't even name in the other section. It must be the only person who uses EB02 Luffy if the Leader wasn't shown, but managed to make it to top 16. Bonney decks didn't make it top 16 unlike OP11 Luffy with 2 people as well as Mihawk. Jinbe and Doffy managed to make it to top 16, and Doffy consistency to make it top 16 is nice even though there's low numbers.

Accessories

I don't know about you, but I want the figure over the accessories. That's the thing interest me the most. But this is most likely to be Japan only, well I guess I can always import the figure.

Get some AA cards.

Counters will be most useful if you are very forgetful and you won't need to mark the cards with dices.

The Leaders are printed in 3D.

No idea what's this, some cloths to hang for the wall maybe? Maybe people who buys anime stuff will know this very well.

Deck boxes that have been wrapped in wool or cotton, looks like wool from the video. 

Is that a towel? They actually made Ace and Sabo manga art cards into towels.

The Straw Hat Crew together in this playmat. What would be funny if Oda decided to add a new Straw Hat to the crew in the late stage of the manga. Then, this playmat would be pointless.

I think this is OP01 Luffy's AA that have been transformed into a figure.

Cards

Looks like EB04 booster design is revealed, of course this is for JP only because us EN players will be combined with OP14 set in order to catch up with JP releases. We will see Bonney Nika form like Luffy. We might get the official translation for Nika Bonney next week, so I won't be translating the card text on this post.

[On K.O.] If you have 2 or less Life cards, play up to 1 yellow Character card with 6000 power or less from your hand.

This is actually quite useful. The more power your opponent's Leader has, the better for Sanji. Plus you can also play 6k power or less Characters like OP08 Nami and trigger's Nami on play to wipe out 1 of your opponent's Characters. Of course, your opponent would also know this, so they could trigger Sanji's on KO effect last, so the on play effects won't affect their attacks.

[On Play] If you have 2 or less Life cards, add up to 1 card from the top of your deck to the top of your Life cards.

Blocker with Life Gain, this is definitely going in a lot of yellow builds like Vegapunk who starts with 2 Life, or Enel who can get down to 1 Life cards really easily. I won't be surprised if this card would be pricey for a SR since the effect is quite strong. This card alone could revive a lot of fun yellow decks to try.
